Guest Reviews
- Collings (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at Cnoc Suain. It was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed to a romantic get away.
- Nerys (8/5): -
- Cody (10/5): Our favorite stop in Ireland yet! - We took a chance on booking this out of town getaway and it was incredible. Sits on 200 acres of gorgeous farm and bog land. Eleanor was an amazing host. She spent 15 minutes with us getting us situated. She left us coffee, eggs, cream, homemade lemon cake. She was a delight. Nothing.
- Caroline (9/5): Comfortable & relaxing! - Friendly, easy to contact host. Lovely surprise treats {cake, bread granola}. The bed was huge & comfy and the shower was good too! The only tiny issue was the wifi but you did have it available such a short walk away & it was actually helpful to stop the mindless scrolling :D
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): It was rural and off the beaten path but close to the beach and a great base for day trips to places in Connemara. I app - The property was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was carefully and thoughtfully restored and was perfect for what we were wanting to experience. Absolutely nothing!
- Gill (10/5): Authentic Irish bog experience - Fascinating, authentic ancient Irish peasants cottage but very comfortable. Glorious setting It takes a bit of getting used to no internet and no tv! But it’s what we’d chosen. You can listen to the sounds of the bog
- Jason (10/5): Fantastic - Tranquility
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daryl (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely quiet remote location. Fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable.
- Larry (7/5): Good - Quaint, wonderful host. Unit clean and with amenities Location. Though quiet it is 25-30 minutes to any amenities. You have to go through a closed gate to access the property
- Blanaid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Excellent place, really calm and lots of nice things to do in the area -- we wanted to stay longer. - The location is really spectacular. Many wild flowers, black berries, birds, quiet, starry nights. The cottages felt like something out of the distant past, but comfortable and clean.
- Federico (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dorothy (10/5): Restful, beautiful and felt like being a part of Irish history. - Located rurally on a 200 acre property.
We stayed in a very well kept thatched roof cottage with all the amenities.
It was peaceful, beautiful and quiet.
It is off the beaten path, but that is what we liked about it.
Very close to Connemara if you are traveling that way.
We can’t say enough about the people who own it. They take a lot of pride in their place and you can see it in everything! Everything was wonderful, except there is only one place to get WiFi if you need to use it.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Cnoc Suain was an amazing place. The peace and tranquility was unbelievable, all we could hear was the sound of the cuckoo which I haven't heard in years. Thank you so much for providing this wonderful place to visit. N/A.
- Rhonda (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent place to stay and relax. Only wish we had more time there.
Very clean, and we'll organized. It is a place of relaxation, contemplation, nature and history. Well done Charlie, Dearbhaill, and Eleanor. Nothing to dislike. It is very much a great place.
