- Lucille (10/5): Lovely happy place, beautifully equiped and fantastic position - Everything was perfect
Cosy lovely accomodation across from the water. Parking was easy and close by. Lovely at home feeling. I loved sitting watching the water from the bay window. Nothing, it was amazing
- Hayley (10/5): Beautiful pet friendly apartment on the beach ! - Beautiful ground floor apartment opposite the beach and pier, perfect location for all amenities, everything is in walking distance should you need it. Property literally has everything you need for your stay. Pay and display Parking is usually available outside on this occasion roadwork prevented this but hosts told us if a pay and display car park less than 5 minutes walk where we could safely park overnight. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again ! N/A
- Molly (8/5): - lovely flat, very comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. perfect location, walking distance to everything we needed and wanted and a lovely view out the front window. the only issue we had was with parking. parking out the front is max stay 1 hour from 9am-6pm. we drove around looking for somewhere to park and ended up parking in a pay and display which was £7 for 24 hours. though this was not ideal the staff were very helpful in recommending places to park.
- Martin (9/5): An excellent short break in an ideal spot for enjoying this great Welsh town. - Excellent location on the sea front, close to amenities and town centre. Well equipped and comfortable flat. Parking was difficult because of time restrictions and could have done with a bit more information e.g. that could park overnight, subject to 4 hour restriction in daytime. Also our visit coincided with a car rally that we only found out by chance that otherwise could have resulted in our car being towed away!
- Elizabeth Jane (9/5): A relaxing, enjoyable stay. - The flat was luxuriously furnished with a very comfortable bed and had an incredible seafront and central location. The property details advertise a coffee maker, which there was, but no coffee pods. When we contacted the owner, he just replied that there had been plenty there last week, so the previous guests must have used them all. Although he apologised for this, he then suggested that we just used the pot of instant coffee that was in the cupboard. There was no offer of purchasing more coffees pods for our stay (we had only just arrived and were staying for 3 nights). We do not own a coffee maker that takes coffee pods at home (we have a cafetière), so I was not going to go and buy a pack of coffee pods, possibly not getting the correct ones for the machine (??), that I would then probably not use many of. So we had to resort to going out.
The private parking that is advertised on Booking.com should be more obviously shown to be ‘not private but assured and costing £4 a day’ or the other option of ‘free if you’re lucky to find a space’. It is misleading.
- Julie (7/5): - Location was central . Spacious accommodation with fully equipped kitchen. Parking nearby was difficult to find and needed to use a public carpark a long distance away. Coming from overseas this is very foreign to us.
The need to plug in and unplug all electrical devices during and after use. Front door and apartment door could be difficult to unlock.
- David (9/5): - The property was well presented, and decor was quirky and cool. Fire alarm went off at 545 am, the first night of our stay and the person named on the sheet didn't pick up when called. Luckily another resident knew how to deactivate and reset the alarm.
- Davies (10/5): - There was literally nothing not to like about this beautiful apartment. Beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, felt like home from home. Right in the middle of all amenities. Nothing!
- Sandra (8/5): - Comfy bed, soft pillows and towels. clean apartment ground floor right on the seafront. Strange decor😉 every bit of space.. shelves and corners had ornaments and bric-a-brac Seaview hidden by cars and vans parked two feet from living room window. Barely any view of the sea except on Sunday morning when all the cars disappeared 🤷🏾. For some reason there was only one wooden spoon and no serving spoons🤔for cooking.
- Jeff (9/5): Location and value are good reasons to return! - Great location Too much construction close by.
- Zoe (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (9/5): Fab - Excellent location and extremely well equipped apartment Nothing to dislike at all. Only personal preference would be a larger bed
- Paul (10/5): A most enjoyable couple of days visiting grandson at university will definitely be back if available. - It was comfortable with everything you could need to either self cater or enjoy the local eateries Nothing
- Sarah (8/5): Lovely apartment in a great location - Very spacious apartment with tall ceilings, well equipped kitchen, dish washer is always a bonus when you’re away, good central location only a few minutes walk to shops, sea front, pier. Main bed whilst comfy was small, a king would fit and add that extra level of luxury, quilt a little too heavy for warmer weather. Other than fridge/freezer no space to put your own cupboard food. We had dogs, owner notified/agreed in advance so needed to vacuum only to find no dustpan/brush and vacuum cordless battteries were dead so needed to charge them first.
- Claudio (7/5): Excellent decor, comfortable stay. - "Excellent. The decor matches the photos in the listing. I was really impressed, in a good way, by how clean the towels, blankets, and pillows smelled. However, overall a positive stay, especially considering the extra amenities like WiFi and TV channels." I might have expected a little chocolate egg as a welcome, given it's Easter, and perhaps a few coffee pods.
- Jones (8/5): Comfortable and great location to enjoy exploring Aberystwyth - somewhere that's close to my heart -
- Geoff (8/5): Nice comfortable bolthole. - Good location. Well equipped and comfortable. Warm once the radiators were on. Comfy sofa and chairs, good kitchen facilities. Nice decor. Very clean and clearly well maintained. Table perfect for eating and reading/writing/drawing. Double bed comfy but narrow, king size version would be better. Toilet location in the bathroom a bit cramped. Unable to plug in electric fire as cord too short to reach nearest socket - should be easily fixed though to add to the heating already available
- Sarah (10/5): Great location and would stay again - Cosy and comfortable Nothing really. Maybe just needs some more glasses but had everything we needed. No cupboard space for food
- B (9/5): Fab flat, fab stay - Lovely quality decor, fab location, comfy beds everything you need in the flat. Occasional noise from upstairs flat but didn’t affect our stay.
- Johnson (10/5): A must see - A lovely apartment with an eclectic choice of decor. The washing machine was a bonus.. Nothing at all
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rivka (8/5): Beautiful apartment with a gorgeous sea view on the sea front. - Beautiful ground floor flat with a sea view. I found almost everything I needed. Great big tv with Netflix and Disney. Lovely owner who was very helpful. Comfy bed. There was one thing the owner could not do anything about which is the upstairs neighbour who walked around almost constantly. This is understandable with a flat overhead that you will hear this but it carried on until the early hours and then resumed around 7 am so there was little respite from it. I did get a white noise app to drown it out a bit which helped. Without this it would have been a perfect stay.
- Cerys (9/5): Superb -
- Jenny (10/5): Visiting family in Aberystwyth so would definitely stay here again - Location was amazing close to shops and an amazing sea view The apartment was beautiful very clean and had everything we needed and more parking was good long stay car park around the corner in the church at costing £10 for 72 hours very reasonable There was nothing to dislike the apartment is stunning
- Terry (10/5): Enjoyed every minute, lovely apartment with everything you would need. - Everything, what’s not to like Lack of parking
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious and great location, beautiful view.Very clean and had everything you needed to be comfortable for your stay There was nothing we didn't like about the property it was lovely
- Alan (8/5): One of the best self-catering flats we have stayed in. - Excellent flat. Fitted out with almost all requirements. Pleasant decor, with numerous additional curios. Comfortable chairs/bed.Excellent central location. Spacious living area with well equipped kitchen area. Good supply of hot water. No kitchen sink plug or washing-up bowl (we bought one!). Duvet was far too heavy for Summer use, but sheet and blanket was available. Small bathroom.
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were absolutely immaculate and far bigger than the pictures suggested. As soon as we walked in, I knew I got more than my money's worth. The staff were incredibly easy to get hold of and extremely kind and professional. No complaints whatsoever
- Alison (8/5): Very good - Location and it allowed dogs and the bed was comfortable can't often say that about places ! Owner kept us updated on check in etc The only downside is the parking and needing to move the car but it was fine for us as we were out during the day and then we could park for four hours up until the morning again for four hours people just need to be aware of that if they stay but Sundays was no problem.
- Paul (9/5): We had a most enjoyable weekend. Plenty of walking. - The location was ideal. The room was very cluttered, but that bothered my wife more that me.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Allan (5/5): Clean but too much clutter - Central position Inside too cluttered- owners personal property in wardrobe - bathroom, used cosmetics on shelves - bucket and mop next to toilet making it hard to use - things behind cupboard and curtains in bedroom.
- Sadaf (10/5): Quirky, cosy and homely - It was so close to the sea and beautifully designed. It had everything I needed. Comfortable and Quirky ! I needed this break and it was well worth it! Will definitely be coming again. Nothing comes to mind
- Nicola (9/5): Lovely flat fabulous lovation - Flat had everything you needed and a really good location ‘home from home’ Nice and clean with little added touches
- Caitlyn (10/5): Excellent property - I've stayed here for the last few years and the property is always wonderfully decorated and has plenty of the kind of things you need (salt/pepper/spices).
- Joan (10/5): Cosy seafront apartment - Excellent seafront location. Apartment had everything we needed. Warm and welcoming. Tastefully furnished and decorated.
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (10/5): The stay was very enjoyable. Such a lovely apartment and place to stay. Plenty to see and do. - I loved how clean and tidy the property was. It was spacious and nicely decorated, with a lovely view of the sea. There was nothing I didn't like.
- Gregory (9/5): Superb - Felt at home.
Plenty of amenities in the house (cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle)
Perfect location next to the pier. Everything was within ten minutes of walking that we needed for the comedy festival.
Clean and smelled nice.
Really nice to leave us lots of snacks and drinks in the fridge for our stay.
Tea and coffee making stuff plentiful in the cupboard
Good tv. Could log in to my Netflix, Alexa and bbc.
Warm and cosy.
Nice lighting generally. The ad said private parking available but this is not true. Parking is on the street on one side of the pier along the prom and the nearest space I found was a 7 minute walk away. This should be removed from the ad to avoid disappointment.
Could put an antislip mat in the bath as quite slippy.
- Ali (9/5): Probably best location in Aber - Our stay was very comfortable, this is a great flat. The location alone made a great impression on us, it was great to be next to the pier and have a view of the seaside. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Parking was also very easy. Overall great experience. I needed to work from the flat during most days, I had no problem with internet during my online meetings. The only negative aspect I can think of that there were some neighbors who were going in and out of the terrace in the middle of the night, slamming the doors, speaking loudly in the hallway, which woke us up in the bedroom. This happened on a Friday night, and aother nights during the week were quiet.
- Happychappy (10/5): You walk in and it speaks volumes, I would love to live here. - There were treats galore laid on and a bottle of wine to boot, the place was gloriously quirky, I found myself always looking up and seeing something new. A sea-view window just across the road was bliss and parking was free just outside between 6p.m. and 8 .am. with cheap all day parking at the church at £10 for three days. The owner should be proud of her home from home. Not so much a not like as a near calamity as we were emailed the codes for the place at home 2hrs after we arrived in Aberystwyth, luckily we were seen worrying outside the flat and were allowed entry on proof from us, It went from strength to strength from there on in, the only downside was that it had to end.
