Guest Reviews
- Guest (9/5): Had a lovely weekend stay with the Family, stunning house. - House was lovely and spacious, really nice interior deco. Comfortable stay :) Lovely weekend break with the Family..
The hosts were really accomodating and allowed us a later checkout time. In some rooms the radiators didn't work but there was a plug in heater, garden furniture wasn't great as when we first picked a chair up to move it the leg fell off but there was plenty more.
- Kassandra (10/5): - The decor of the house was so cute! The back garden was nice as well. There was plenty of room for all of our party and we enjoyed the living rooms best. It would have been nice to have a small roll of paper towels or a towel in the kitchen for small spills.
- Nyamukapa (9/5): -
- KirstyBarnden (9/5): Overall, a wonderful house and a fantastic stay - The house is absolutely stunning and spacious, beds are very comfortable and everything is decorated beautifully. Bathrooms and kitchen are high spec, amazing shower and plush, welcoming, relaxing surroundings. We had a wonderful time, and being only 10 mins from an entrance to Richmond Park was wonderful. There's ample parking, the neighbourhood is very quiet and communication is superb. Hopefully some constructive criticism, because the house really is fantastic aside from this:
Unfortunately the cleaners were there when we arrived at 4pm so we couldn't get in even an hour after our check-in time. This was a bit awkward.
The garden really needs a little TLC and brings the overall experience down. The lawn wasn't mowed, there's no patio to speak of and what is there is unsafe with a drop and no real steps down to the lawn. This wasn't ideal for small children or older family members.
Garden furniture is broken and uncomfortable and there's nowhere to put a drink or eat outside. I expect this is all to discourage use of the garden and therefore avoid neighbour complaints, however it really makes the garden stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the house.
For a house that sleeps 12, there are only 4 wine glasses, no champagne flutes and only 10 sets of cutlery. The kitchen is overall well equipped, but a few additions would make a huge difference: a peeler, wooden spoon and some serving dishes/platters, some salt and pepper
. Also a dustpan and brush!
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Howard (5/5): Potentially a great place let down by a lack of care maybe. - It's a good sized house with lots of good size rooms. Effort has been made to put in furnishings and decoration that look good. Had to go buy toilet rolls as there was none left. Not what you'd expect paying that sort of money.
There is only one shower, should fit another in the second bathroom.
There was only a few mugs but potentially twelve or more people staying in a six bed house.
Couldnt turn off the heating which kept waking me up. Others found the beds werent comfy.
Place is a bit shabby. Garden a mess kind of spoils things. Carpets poorly fitted. Sofas were cheap and uncomfortable. Shame as there are all the ingredients to make this a fantastic place to stay. 10% more effort and it would be faultless.
- Paul (8/5): Lots of space to relax - Lots of space, good facilities, good WiFi (even though the description said there wasn’t any), easy to get into central London. Good friendly communication from the owners. Back garden could do with a tidy up
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynsey (10/5): Had a lovely Christmas house was clean spacious and exactly what we needed for our large family over the Christmas will - Lovely house clean just what we needed for Christmas N/A
