• Darren (9/5): Willie was really friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back - Excellent location with activities straight from the door or a short distance away. Everything you could think of was catered for.
• Perky35 (10/5): Wonderful hosts live next door and provide everything you could wish for! - Very comfortable and cosy. Lovely toasty cottage. Hosts were wonderful - so happy to help and even helped us get our car out on our departure day as the snow was causing havoc everywhere. Nothing!

• Christin (10/5): - Die Lage war extrem toll. Nur 100 m weiter ging man im Marschland spazieren und konnte außergewöhnliche Vögel hören und beobachten. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und half gern weiter. Setzt man sich zu einem Kaffee in den Garten sind die Fasane in Sichtweite und man genießt die Natur. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und top ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Bad. Der Ofen lädt zu gemütlichen Abendstunden ein. Zu erwähnen ist die außerordentlich top ausgestattete Küche!
• Julie (10/5): We had an amazing stay! - We had a wonderful stay at the Old School. Our host was extremely welcoming. He was always available, offering expert recommendations on activities in the region and catering to all our needs. The accommodation is very comfortable and very well equipped, from spices, tea and coffee, to firewood. It also offers wonderful views and has a nice garden.
• Nick (10/5): May 2025 - A lovely little cottage in a great location near Aviemore. A well-appointed kitchen made self-catering easy, and there was plenty of space outside for the kids to play. Willie the host was welcoming and helpful and gave some good tips. We’ll definitely be back!
• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy beds, good location near Cairngorms, near A9 but not too near. Good parking. Kind and sociable host. Well equipped kitchen. Good heating included easy-to-light wood burning stove. Firewood available onsite at reasonable price.
