• Ritu (9/5): Apartment was excellent and would stay again if travelling to Birmingham again - Location was excellent. Initial entrance to the building was very confusing The key boxes information on the website was not up to date and was only informed of the new information a few minutes before we arrived. There had been several more lock boxes added so it was more difficult to tell it was the correct one.

• Martine (9/5): - Comfortable well equipped apartment for two the entrance is not on Upper Marshall Street itself but opposite the key boxes. Once you know it, it's fine.

• Richard (7/5): Clean apartment in a good location but needs updating - The property was clean, spacious and in a good location. The beds were comfortable and apartment was very quiet. Access - the instructions of how to access the property needs updating. We were asked to find a blue secure key box on arrival and there wasn’t one - all the key boxes were coloured black. We spent a long time trying the access code in all the boxes until we found the right one. Equipment - somewhat lacking I.e. only one decent baking tray, no waste disposal bin in the bathroom (essential for females), no vacuum cleaner, waste bin broken in kitchen, no washing up bowl, no instructions on how to use the cooker or microwave etc. Apartment itself - although clean it needs a general update. There were stains on the carpet in the lounge area and bedroom and the sofa was well used, not comfortable at all, and needs replacing. Outside area - as stated in the instructions, there was no lock on the door and no privacy as the bamboo screening between the apartments was totally broken and needs replacing. Complimentary ‘goodie’ box - although very welcome and not expected, every single product (biscuits/confectionary/crisps) was well past its expiry date (one expired in February 2025). Overall, this could be a superb apartment as it’s in a great location, but it’s tired and needs updating with a general overhaul. Probably not worth the price that was paid to stay there.

• Daniyaal (9/5): Overall one of the best apartments I've booked through Booking.com - You can tell that alot of thought has gone into this accommodation. Location - Central, yet not too busy. It was very quiet, especially at night. Parking - Plenty of on the street parking available, literally right in front of the building. Communication - Responds to questions within minutes, was always polite and helpful. Self checkin - Far better and much easier than others I have experienced and they have listened to other peoples reviews and changed the location of the key up location. After I had read the reviews, I was dreading having to trek to go and get the keys, but now the keys are in a far easier location. Accommodation - It had everything needed for a two nights stay plus more, loved the hamper of snacks and drinks. Plenty of tea and coffee etc with cold milk which is always well received after travelling, been in others where there wasn't any at all. Extremely clean, modern and very tidy. Nothing out dated or overly worn and everything worked as it should. I never heard a peep from the neighbours and the building it self and very clean and you can tell it's very well maintained. Roof terrace - This is my slight sticking point, now don't get me wrong, once you're out on the terrace, it's a really nice place to be. There is nothing over looking you, lots of space, plenty of furniture. But unfortunately the roof terrace isn't actually part of apartment, if I had known this beforehand, I wouldn't of booked the apartment and I didn't see any information about the roof terrace being separate from the apartment before booking. Arrival and departure - I paid for the earlier check in and check out, it very easy to book and not overly priced. Overall one of the best apartments I've booked through Booking.com
• Dub (10/5): Great location and great stay. - Very comfortable, smart TV and nice rooftop patio. Clean facilities and nice beds too. Nothing only thing I’d say is it got very hot during the summer heat and could do with a fan or AC

• Pradip (10/5): Cosy, clean and comfortable in a great location not far from bars and restaurants! - It was warm, cosy and exceptionally clean. Perfect for mini breaks. Excellent location. Loved the little touches of providing snacks etc and it was a very welcoming. Loved it and will definitely go back ! Thank you Nothing it was perfect for us.

• Adamjohnson (6/5): Average - Was clean and a good size apartment Key collection and drop off is a nightmare and the location is unpleasant, not comfortable at all walking around there to the petrol garage for key collection etc. Also the entrance to the apartment and hallways stank of takeaway food all the way though. Not the owners fault but I'm reviewing the overall experience.

• Liz (6/5): Good location , nicely appointed but quite expensive and picking up and dropping off the keys a pain - Good location, comfortable apartment Having to collect and return the keys from a garage several minutes walk away across busy roads. The apartment was not particularly clean on arrival but the host arranged for another clean. TV didn't work at first and we needed to contact the host to resolve it. Windows leaked rainwater.
