• Robyn (8/5): The extra effort by the hosts to decorate for Xmas was a lovely thoughtful touch. - Very cosy cottage with comfortable beds, soft Linens and a large bathroom. Free parking across the road an advantage. Spotlessly clean. Not having a washing machine when travelling is always an issue.

Plenty of space with loads of beds which were very comfy. Will definitely be using this as my base going forward. Not much to be honest.

• Julie (10/5): A beautiful cottage and a relaxing stay. - The most beautiful, comfortable house. It's like a tardis...so much space inside. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful colourful decor and furniture. Extremely comfortable beds. Lovely outlook. Really quiet snc relaxing. I want to live there! Unfortunately we only had one night. We'll definitely stay again.

• David (9/5): Superb - A great alternative to a hotel and close to the center of the lovely town of Monaghan. Clean and cozy with everything needed for a short stay. As an American, I was unfamiliar with Eircodes, a location finder specific for every property, so finding the guesthouse was at first a challenge, We got there quickly once we learned how to use the codes in our mapping apps (e/g/ Google Maps) and the owner communicated with us throughout. Very pleased overall.

The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, yet quiet enough for a peaceful night's sleep. The decor was absolutely lovely, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel so welcoming and stylish. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend staying here — we will definitely be back!

Very happy with the property, easy to get the key, place was spotless and clean on our arrival, grass was cut, place smelled nice, three bottles of water in the fridge, you's went that extra mile to make us feel welcome , house is lovely, very cosy, more suitable for a family with kids but still brilliant, me and my two brothers stayed here, they thought it was great too and my brother is very fussy no issues

• Sharon (9/5): This was a perfect place to stay whilst visiting Monaghan. It was very spacious and rooms had a lovely quirky design. - The property was in a good location for Monaghan town centre. It was clean and had all the basics provided. There was only one bathroom so for a large group would have been nice to have a separate toilet.

Exceeded everybody’s expectations and Gareth was really lovely as a host he went above and beyond leaving all the essentials we would’ve had to buy in eg coffee , tea etc. Nothing!

We had 3 small (tired)kids with us and arrived later than planned, so when the first thing we see is family games laid out they were delighted! Cereal, milk,water,coffee,tea and my favorite, some chocolate to enjoy with my coffee! we didn't need to bring anything.Beds are very comfy, heating was easy to use. I cannot recommend this place enough. thanks again Gareth 👍

• Caron (10/5): Exceptional Guesthouse - Everything! I can't recommend enough. The guesthouse was spotlessly clean. Towels in abundance, cosy beds and the added extras of milk in the fridge and chocolate bars to munch on. They provided board games too for the cosy nights in and not to mention, communication, and ease of access was second to none. That we didn't book for an extra night :)

It is spotlessly clean, in a quiet location just minutes from town centre. Beautifully decorated. The most comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, board games for the kids, little touches like chocolate bars, coffee, tea, milk, water etc was so lovely. Kitchen fully equipped to make a delicious family meal. Excellent shower. Just so cosy. A home away from home. A stunning spacious 3 bed house which is Perfect for a family stay. Recommend highly. Will def stay again on our next trip to Dublin. Thank you Gareth - great host. Thank you. Loved everything. My 4 year old didn’t want to leave!

• Tammy (10/5): Exceptional - Property was clean and the decor was lovely. There were toiletries in the bathroom and a stocked kitchen for tea/coffee making and breakfast. Board games to keep the kids happy and Netflix if you want to watch. The property looks small from the front but the rooms are very spacious and we had a great night away from home.
• Sherwyn (10/5): Wonderful, clean, spacious, well looked after…. Truly enjoyable stay. - It was like a home away from home. The place was tastefully decorated and we had everything we needed. Gareth was readily available to answer questions and made sure to leave little things to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable (like toys for the kids and a well stocked kitchen). Netflix was set up on the TV so we can readily watch if we wanted to. Moreover, the location was very close to the town and its shopping centre, so that’s quite convenient. None. All good, and everyone happy.
