• NIRMALYA (5/5): - Location wise it is good surrounded by trees etc Environment inside the room- it was full with rat, small frog, lizards and flying insects. I went with my family. We couldn’t able to sleep properly in the night.

• Maitra (7/5): Comfortable and relaxing - Break fast was not free with room rent. Hence can't comment. Dinner environment in the restaurant was not family friendly. Toiletries and bed linens were not changed even once in 3 days. A rectangular table to have bed tea and, if necessary, breakfast should have been in the room. No intercom was there to contact receptionist.

Paratha over cooked on day 1, not properly cooked on 2nd day. Electricity was not restored by generator when mains were off. Had to get bucket of manually heated water. TV stopped. Bed was hard. Toiletries were not available like toilet rolls handwash etc.
• Pravat (10/5): Exceptional - This place is full of great natural beauty. The staff here are very sincere. Food quality is very high level and food prices are reasonable. I will come here again in the future.

• Tyrone (5/5): Passable - The place itself is cute pretty The staff are USELESS and only speak Bengali which is a complete disaster to anyone who doesn't speak this language, Helpful absolutely NOT Had a room for 2 there Was ONLY 1 DIRTY TOWEL THE shower and flush was leaking ALL NIGHT there is a fan in the room without a regulator There was a blanket on the bed that has NEVER BEEN CLEANED AND WAS FULL OF BUGS IF YOUR FROM THE EUROPEAN SIDE OF THE WORLD YOU WILL DEFINITELY Appreciate the look of the place upon arrival but prepare to be disappointed with the rest

Plenty of Car parking space was there and stay arrangement for driver was good. At this price we expected better managed hotel at Santiniketan. Not much family friendly. Security is not up to the mark. Many outsiders coming at evening and do partying till midnight. On enquiry we found that they are not regular hotel boarder rather they are local college/university students. We felt pretty uncomfortable at night. Family should keep this in mind before booking the hotel.

• Krishnendu (2/5): This place cannot get more than 2 stars - Quiet place. Polite staff. Cannot say anything else was nice Place is far off from town center. Property is under construction, littered with building materials. Lawns have overgrown grass and shrubbery. Room amenities are less than basic. Wifi is for namesake. TV has no channels running. Had to ask for clean bed sheets and towels. Food was average, but no other eatery was available nearby. Room mentions kettle, but none was available. Common room for lunch and dinner is not air conditioned, so had to eat in the room.

• Ghosh (9/5): Superb - Everything was perfect. The facilities are also good. The behaviour of the staffs are excellent They need to take serious action in terms of food .The quality and taste of food is pathetic.
• Sreenath (10/5): A perfect retreat to get you in the Shantiniketan mood. - Beautiful wooded and resort like setting. Nicely sets the mood for a visit to Shantiniketan. Each room is set up like an independent thatched hut with a veranda in front. There were only half a dozen units which enhanced the feeling of privacy. The staff were very friendly, especially the owner who was extremely helpful. The hotel is a bit far from the Vishwa Vidyalaya, Ravindranath Tagore’s Ashram and Museum. The hotel has a restaurant on site which is great because there is not much else around. However, the restaurant needs improvement. Given that the establishment is relatively new, I am sure it will improve with age.

Resort shouldn't encourage picnic parties with loud boxes which may hamper the peace of the boarders. Picnic parties are using their common toilets against little cost and making nuisance the surroundings. It's not acceptable.

• Sagar (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and nice. The in-campus view of the hotel is very nice. The location is scary. It is just beside a cemetery (shamshan). The rood to the hotel at night does not feel safe.

• Sharmi (1/5): Absolutely disgusting, horrible. - This property should be delisted from here. I am so surprised with this listing because when we went there our family was shocked. When we reached the caretaker asked the owner on phone which room he should give us and on receiving his response opened up two shabby rooms which were not opened for months - dirty disgusting smell, dust emanating when the door was opened which gave me an allergy. There are no facilities - no water in bathroom, forget about soap, tissues etc. thankfully we carried our own bottles of drinking water. Since we reached Santiniketan so late we couldn’t go to any other hotel so we asked them to change the room which they did but the conditions were poor as mentioned above. The morning tea was served in unwashed cups. And we were told nothing would be available before 9 am and yet we only received tea at 10 am or after. This property should be delisted so that no other people can be fooled. The people who own and manage it are thugs because clearly they have no knowledge or desire about facilities upkeep and maintenance. Nor do they care about service. For the above reasons. Please delist.

• Indira (8/5): Sitting arrangement in room should be inside the room. - Location is little far from Bolpur station. Need to change bed as its sounds bad. Outside sitting in garden was too good. Location is too calm. We like it.
