• Andrea (9/5): Excelente experiencia en Lanzarote - Nos gustó todo ya que Johnny y Asa fueron desde el inicio muy amables y nos indicaron cómo funcionaba todo en la casa, también nos hicieron recomendaciones muy útiles de lugares y restaurantes. Los desayunos son variados y saludables y la casa siempre esta muy limpia y agradable. En ocasiones tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar con ellos y son personas muy amables. Todo nos gustó.

Las instalaciones son muy cómodas, cuidadas y todo está pensado para que te sientas a gusto desde el primer momento. La ubicación además es muy céntrica, lo que facilita muchísimo moverse por la isla. Pero sin duda lo mejor de todo han sido los anfitriones: son un auténtico encanto. Nos hicieron sentir muy cuidados y escuchados en todo momento, siempre atentos a cualquier detalle. Cada mañana disfrutábamos de desayunos riquísimos y además nos daban recomendaciones diarias para descubrir la isla, lo cual hizo la experiencia todavía más especial. La sensación es literalmente como alojarte en casa de un familiar. Sinceramente, nada. Nuestra experiencia fue excelente y repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

Tahiche is an authentic village with a couple of good places to eat - the Teleclub and Aurora pizzeria. It is also the location of the Caesar Manrique house - a must-see. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Johny recommended a tour to the Timanfaya national park, which was spectacular. Asa told us about the 'Omar Sharif' house in Nazaret, which was definitely worth a visit. A delicious and good value breakfast. Quiet and comfortable studio apartment with a lovely, shady private terrace. The property is on the main road, but the traffic noise was never an issue, and buses were very close by. Nothing

Los anfitriones son muy serviciales, cualquier duda están para indicarte, los desayunos están bien cada día preparan uno diferente. Si quieres poder interactuar con los anfitriones tienes que saber inglés sí o sí , y no es que esté mal, simplemente que si no lo manejas , pues es más frío el contacto y más estando en una casa ajena.

• Elisa (9/5): Soggiorno autentico e interculturale - È stato un piacere essere ospiti a casa della coppia svedese che gestisce il b&b, sempre disponibili ma mai invadenti, hanno sicuramente reso speciale il nostro soggiorno accogliendoci nella loro casa autentica canaria e deliziandoci con le loro colazioni fatte a mano ogni giorno. È molto bello il clima di condivisione tra ospiti che si crea nell'uso degli spazi comuni. Purtroppo la posizione è sulla rotta degli aerei da/ per l'aeroporto, quindi si viene svegliati la mattina presto dal loro rumore. In camera le nostre imposte delle finestre erano rotte e quindi filtrava molta luce.

Gracias por su cariño José Gabriel y Carmen Desayuno - vegano Buena estancia, pero está algo viejito. Limpio y camas cómodas. Silencio por las noches que se agradece. Habría que redecorar algunas estancias y reponer algunos utensilios. Pero nada que dificulte la estancia.

We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not order it. However it sounds delicious. You will enjoy chatting with the owners. They have an inspiring story to tell. I highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise.

• Matthew (10/5): The best hosts you can wish for in Lanzarote - Our hosts, Ana and Johnny were extremely warm and welcoming. The villa was close to the airport and a short drive from Arreciffe plus walking distance from Tahiche Volcano and a lava field (if you're feeling adventurous as we were), and Cesar Manrique's Foundacion. All three were highlights of the vicinity. But most of all, Ana and Johnny. We could not have wished for better hosts. We look forward to returning and staying there again. There is no air-conditioning which can be a challenge on a hot night, but the bedroom fan does help.

Les hôtes sont tres gentils, présents pour savoir si tout se passe bien et pour nous donner les meilleurs conseils de visite. Le logement est très propre, bien équipé, le lit est grand et confortable. Et le top : la piscine ! Si nous retournons à Lanzarote, nous n'hésiterons pas ! Rien, tout était parfait !

• David (9/5): An excellent choice to explore the whole island. - Stayed in the poolside apartment which was ideal for us, we also took the breakfast option which was simple, but good and fairly priced. Hosts were very friendly with lots of advice and suggestions. Had a lovely roof top seating area, where we sat with the hosts and fellow guests watching the sunset over the sea and mountains. They haven't been there that long so have some updating to do, this will presumably include changing the site entry arrangements, at present this involves a bit of a walk to the car parking area. It should also be noted that the property is next to a dual carriageway and under the flight path for the airport. However, none of the above would preclude us from staying again and we look forward to our next visit.
• Alexandra (6/5): Good for short stay if you look for a quiet place - The apartment has all you need, it is spaceous and comfy. The inside area of the Villa is very nice. We liked the kitchen that was fully equipped also with a coffee machine. It has a very good central location for exploring the island and parking place behind the Villa. The location is very quiet, there is nothing to do or where to go in the evening, no restaurant, market or cafeteria around. Somebody may be bothered by the planes and their noise, as it is quite close to the airport. Even though there is a gate next to the parking place, you need to go all around other houses and enter the Villa from another street. We would also appreciate to see the accomodation rules in advance, as some of them are quite strict. No smoking in the entire area. Forbidden smoking inside the apartment is absolutely okay and normal, but as holiday smokers we like to have a cigare with a glass of wine in the evening. The smoking in the entire area including the outside terrase is not allowed. The pool was available but we didnt use it as it was the water was not crystal clear. The home-made breakfast is available (6 eur per person), however the offer is very limited. The wifi inside the apartment with the pool view was very weak and the apartment was quite cold and humid.

• Ksenia (9/5): Overall great experience - The location of the villa is great. You can easily reach any spot of the island within 30-40 minutes of a car drive. Åsa and Johnny are extremely nice people & hosts, so you feel like home during your stay there. The breakfast is simple, but has everything one might want and is freshly cooked just for you! The nights might be a bit chilly for people, who like to keep it warm in their houses, but a warm pyjama is a perfect solution in that case

They provide you with a freshly homemade breakfast every morning and valuable Island tips any moment. We just had the best time and would go back anytime.

• Joan (8/5): Very good apartment, well-located and equipped to enjoy your stay in Lanzarote - We stayed for 7 nights in this property, our highlight was definitely the location of the apartment, very close the main sightseeing locations, quiet and with a nice pool for when it is warm enough, and also a small terrace to enjoy the sunsets. As mentioned in other reviews, and already highlighted by the owners, the entrance from the parking is not super convenient.

Very welcoming hosts, always ready to recommend places to visit, and with good tips of where to park and when to go. We liked everything about Villa Estrella Polar. The only slight negative was that there is a very limited choice of places to eat within walking distance; although there are plenty only a short drive away.

• Gianmarco (10/5): Exceptional - We had a beautiful stay at Asa and Johnny’s, they have been incredibly kind hosts, giving us precious advices and helping us understanding also the kind of things we wanted to see and giving us tips for a more “authentic Lanzarote” trip. The apartment is little but cozy, everything you need is there, a small kitchen and a very useful microwave. The pool is just perfect to relax a little bit just before dinner and the surroundings of the Villa are just amazing, we enjoyed also the big terrace which is perfect if you are luckier than us and have the chance to see a sunset. Asa and Johnny have been so gentle with us from the instant we entered their home, providing us anything we needed and also some lovely chat, their hospitality is definitely the best asset of Villa Estrella Polar! We would suggest to add some curtains for the daylight, as in the morning without them the room is fully illuminate quite early
• Anja (8/5): Nice and peaceful place - My partner and I recently stayed in one of the apartment within Asa and Johnny's villa and had a wonderful experience. Asa and Johnny are really nice. The apartment was clean, stylish and it is a perfect place to relax. Asa and Johnny are welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway! I don't have much to add here, except that it's not ideal for cooking full meals, but it's still possible! It's probably just a matter of us being accustomed to a bigger kitchen but we still managed to dine there and cook there.
