Guest Reviews
- Maddalena (9/5): - Il comfort niente
- Giulia (9/5): 2 nights stay (September 2025) - Great location, spacious enough for 2 people, clean apartment, quiet location, very central for visiting the major touristic attractions in Firenze. The owner was very helpful and available at all times to answer our questions. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to be back soon.
- Sara (10/5): -
- Sara (8/5): - Té una meravellosa ubicació, a 2 minuts del Duomo El carrer era brut
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible location
- Nimmer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anda (7/5): Good -
- Edison (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great, the apartment was excellent and the location was spectacular. Claudia was very kind, and I would also like to thank her for helping me at all times with a health problem that I had during my stay.
- Maria (2/5): Very poor - The owner of the apartment was very nice and polite. The responsiveness was very fast and efficient It was quite challenging to find the door to the property, especially as it was our first time in Florence. There was no sign on the door, and all the doors looked very similar. Additionally, the road leading to the place was in poor condition and had an unpleasant smell, though I understand this is beyond the owner control.
Once inside the room, we immediately noticed a lack of cell reception, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. On the first day, we didn’t spend much time in the room, but that night, as we returned to sleep, we were disturbed by loud noise coming from what we assume was a restaurant downstairs—music and people shouting could be heard clearly. On top of that, the toilet kept making strange noises after being flushed.
While trying to sleep, we could also hear water running through the pipes in the wall next to the bed, adding to the disturbance. On the second night, we hoped for a quieter experience as the restaurant noise was gone, but it ended up being worse. There was the sound of renovations in a nearby apartment, and we even heard an argument between neighbors, who were also complaining about the noise.
Overall, we spent very little time in the room, but the stay was unpleasant due to constant noise. The bed was uncomfortable, and the space was very cramped. We never felt at ease during our stay.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Teh (1/5): Totally disappointing and much time wasted to deal with the unnecessary issues - The location within walking distance to the Duomo 1. Frequent black out and you have to fix it based on your host’s how-to-fix-it watsapp message. And, It’s so dark to walk down the stairs to reach the electrical box which thankfully I am tall enough to see and reach the switch. God bless if your hp battery is flat. 2. The wifi and internet(local SIM card) are both almost useless which I think it’s quite common given the old buildings’s walls are probably very thick. 3. The hot water shower last only around ten minutes or so, so forget about conditioning your hair esp if you have long hair. 4. The host will never give you more than one day’s supply of hair/body shampoo (good for one time use) although I chose the Accomodation because of the Free toiletries and I stayed for 5 nights, felt cheated. Thankfully, I still can recycle the towel for five nights. 5. The plastic kettle is so strong in plastic smell after every boil of water, so I can’t bring myself to drink the plastic smelling water. 6. Also, just deal with your own trash and cleanliness as there’s no cleaning no matter how many nights you booked. 7. The bed looks clean BUT after lifting up the blanket on the FIRST NIGHT, there’s so much dust and even some hair were sighted that I got to use my masking tape to clean them up. 8. The colander I used to rinse my tomatoes were horribly oily that I got to use tissue to clean up every single cherry tomatoes that have contact with the colander surface
- Asmita (7/5): Great vibes, great location, some room for improvement - Great location! Very close to sights, and not too far from the main station (Firenze SMN).
Helpful and responsive host, easy to contact.
Bathroom was really nice, with a big shower. The apartment had a nice look and feel with the exposed brick walls.
Matches the photos exactly, all the needed amenities were there.
Thank you for the great stay! Had some trouble with the wifi, it was very slow, so we often had to rely on mobile data in the accommodation.
There's no lifts, you have to go up a flight of stairs with your luggage.
The bedroom was small with the bed unfolded. The kitchen was also very small, with limited amenities (but it does match with the photos and description, we knew that it would be small)
The payment of the city tax was not ideal, as we left cash in the bedroom, for a neighbour to come in and collect while we were out during the day. Would prefer to have some sense of privacy, that other people can't unlock our door and let themselves into the apartment.
Really minor thing, but the amount of soap, toiletries, etc. provided was not enough for the length of our stay. Thankfully, we had brought our own as well.
- Mahmoud (5/5): good place to stay if you are alone and not caring to have network coverage while in the apartment - The location was perfect.
Cost was good.
check in process went easy as well as the check out process.
mircrowave ,kitchen and bathroom all were good 1. the bed was totally uncomfortable
2. the room size is too tight once the sofa is opened to be a bed
3. the most annoying problem is that there is no network coverage in this room..... even the wifi was so bad... yet i have to say that the owner did his best to solve this problem.
4. the over view from the window was a backyard at the bottom floor of the building which was above the level of the apartment
5. the air condition was not good at all (very loud noise and ineffective)
- Dusan (7/5): Excellent location. - Excellent location. City center is literally 2 minutes walk. Lady who rent this apartment is very friendly. We have grate communication about arrival time. Shower is renovated and very spacious. Generally this is old ancient space and interesting for few days stay. Kitchen is fully equipped. Air-conditioning didn't working and whole space is very humid. Smal windows can't provide natural ventilation.
Sleeping bed is soffa bed, little uncomfortable but proportionally to apartment size, nothing bigger can put there.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dana (8/5): Nice for a short stay - First of all - the location! Just few steps from The Dome, you were just in the middle of wonderful atmosphere of Florence! Also, the bathroom was very nicely prepared, and everything worked well. As to the kitchen, I would prefer some coffee making facilities (kettle), but it was nice to have a cup of coffee outside as well. The corridor and stairs inside the building looked somewhat gloomy, but everything worked and was safe. There was no TV inside (but wifi worked quite well, so I watched internet TV instead). The air conditioning did not work (but I am not used to it anyway, and it was not that hot). There is very little space in the main room, if the bed is unfolded. Maybe it would be better to turn it around (facing the kitchenette).
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Stella (7/5): Good - Amazing location, cannot beat it. Bathroom newly renovated. Wifi did not work, holes in the wall to the outside that had been stuffed with towels due to the removal of the aircon unit, no tv as advertised, bed not the most comfortable.
- Alexandria (6/5): Less comfortable than expected, otherwise good. - The host was helpful. The location was close to many attractions The bed was uncomfortable. It was bowed and squeaky. It is difficult to get a good sleep as a couple.
- A (7/5): overally good. - good location internet connection and bed could have been better
- Vitaly (8/5): Very good -
