- Heidi (10/5): Great accommodation, perfect host, historic place with wonderful atmosphere - Tara Vista was the perfect place to stay for a week. We absolutely enjoyed the spacious holiday home, which was spotlessly clean, had very comfortable beds, was equipped with everything you could need and it had a very welcoming atmosphere. With “Maguires” just across the road, who serves delicious and good quality food and the Hill of Tara visible from our kitchen window, we couldn’t have asked for more.
But the best of all was Mary, our host. She made us feel at home, looked after us when we got sick, picked us up from the bus stop, always had a good advice for our daily tours, provided really delicious homemade scones and was incredibly friendly.

- Louth (10/5): Perfect place to explore meath - Great location for exploring local sights, mary was absolutely lovely and the fridge and cupboards were stocked with enough to get you started, views were very nice. Spiral staircase up to apartment could be an issue to older people or disabled but wasn't a problem for me and my son.

- Loucinda (10/5): The host, Mary was inviting and lovely to chat with. - What a fabulous place to begin a trip to Ireland located at the foot of Tara surrounded by history and the beauty of the land. The photos do not do it justice.

- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic, friendly and great value - It was a beautiful apartment and absolutely spotless. I was shown around briefly so I knew what facilities were available and how to use them and I loved the big folder with information about sightseeing, getting around by car or public transport and even restaurant menus. The bed was lovely and the bathroom was so clean with a great shower. I absolutely loved staying here and the people at the property are so kind and so friendly and helpful. I was rather stressed when checking out and I couldn't get a taxi so they helped me work out a bus. If I come back to Ireland, I would definitely stay here again. This is made clear on the listing but I struggled with the external spiral staircase as I'm disabled. I was fully aware that it was there when I booked and I managed, but just wanted to add that in case it is a deal-breaker for someone else.

- Tricia (10/5): I'll be back. - The location is outstanding because it's a unique opportunity to actually stay at the Hill of Tara.
Mary and her family are so welcoming and it's not often a holiday home is graced by wild flowers, branches of lilac blossom and home-made scones !! It's well proportioned, ideally laid-out and with a lovely shower-room. All sundries provided.
The 360 degree views from this first-floor flat are amazing and because the area is protected from development, it's fresh and clean with so many happy birds flying around.
If you don't want to cook then Maguire's (two minutes walk) has a great cafe (with gift-shop). Nothing.
- Geoffrey (6/5): A real Get Away location at a most historic site - A great location to experience the Tara historic site and very scenic area. The accommodation was fine and the host most pleasant. Internet connectivity was non existent and the cell phone reception is poor in this region but that was only a minor inconvenience.
- James (10/5): Friendly, quiet and beautiful - It was lovely and clean and the supplies in the fridge were very much appreciated after a long journey. Mary was very welcoming. We enjoyed her walk suggestions. It did not spoil the stay in any way, but the shower hose leaks. Meant to report to Mary as we left but we left very early and did not want to wake her.
- Adrianne (10/5): Exceptional -

The accommodation was perfect , everything was fresh and clean and the beds were very comforta - The location was excellent, close to the Hill of Tara , and the apartment was faultless. It was warm and cosy, beautifully clean and very comfortable in every way. There was everything you could need in it, including some provisions which were very welcome after a long journey. There was well laid out information on places to eat, bus times etc and internet too.
The owners made us feel so welcome and couldn’t have been nicer.
Tara Vista is a real home from home and was perfect for us. There is nothing negative that l can say about this property.
- Bridget (9/5): Mary and Enda are delightful and super friendly! - The stairs are part of staying here. Please be mindful on them.
