- Amy (10/5): The perfect getaway - Everything! Hosts were welcoming and great with communication. Location was quiet and peaceful, but close to the quaint town. The flat was amazing - spacious, super clean, comfortable and had all the amenities one could need (and more)
Wish we had a longer stay.
Would recommend and would definitely stay again!!!
- Jody (10/5): ONE OF THE BEST IN ALL MY TRAVELS - Traveling for many years through booking.com, this is by far one of the best accommodation's I have been to. It truly is a hidden GEM. The thought that went into this place was amazing, loved every bit of it. The slab of chocolate with the fruit did it for me for sure. Clean and comfortable, the gardens beautiful and big for my dog to run around in. Gosh, this place was certainly amazing.
- Anathi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maclachlan (9/5): Excellent - Everything was excellent No carpet next to bed
- Rebecca (9/5): Comfortable stay, friendly hosts! -
- Roy (9/5): Superb -
- Carlolene (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were very accommodating, super friendly and the place was good value for money I liked everything
- Bongani (10/5): Exceeded my expectations. - A lovely place, with lovely people. Serene, quiet, clean, comfortable. Everything I needed was available. Great for a restful, private and quiet getaway! Would definitely stay there again. The cellular reception is poor in that area (not the fault of the hosts though). Also, the road leading to the property is unpaved (dirt road) with potholes. But again, not the hosts' fault.
- Liezl (10/5): Exceptional - What an amazing stay in your piece of paradise. Thank you so much Richard! Even got a slab of choc and got to pick fresh oranges for juice the next morning. You will definitely see us again!!!
- Johan (8/5): Nice, clean and easy, we enjoyed our stay - All New facilities with a nice modern walk in Bathroom and Kitchen Staff and Flexibility movement
- Bernard (10/5): Solitude! - Immaculate, modern apartment. Beautiful, large garden. Close to Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), Kleinemonde, Port Alfred and Kenton-on-Sea. For whom it matters: The property is on a dirt road and there is no microwave oven or television. The apartment abuts the property of the owner. There are a few stairs.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (10/5): Very comfortable stay with everything I needed. I’ll definitely be back. - Lovely well equipped cottage with good WiFi.
Richard and Marja are great hosts and added extra touches which make it special.
- Ivings (8/5): It was a great little place to unwind and relax. - This was a lovely little flat, clean and very pleasant. Loved the setting very quiet and tranquil.
Highly recommended and Marja and Richard were great hosts. N/A
- Johannes (10/5): Memorable are tranquil stay - We are a Swedish couple in our mid 30's that have been backpacking and traveling the world in both Asia, central America, South America, Europe, Ocean etc. Many times for many years.
This place is just amazing, the area and garden is beautiful and the room itself is lovely! Seriously it is huge and the pictures of the room are great but it does not justify how really good it is. The owners Richard and Marja are super friendly and polite and are excellent in welcoming you with information of the area and room with a fast check in.
We would have stayed at least 3 nights just to relax but our schedule was unfortunately already set for a couple of days in advance... Our recommendation is to book a minimum of 2 nights and enjoy the nature. The kitchen is super new and well equipped, you can easily cook a nice dinner and have it on the porch in the sound of the nature.
Overall this place was much more than we expected and it made the whole trip to bathurst awesome. We will be back if we get the opportunity.
Thank you for a memorable and tranquil stay Richard and Marja,
Kind regards
Johannes and Ebba
