• Beth (7/5): Great place if they have power - We chose Safi House as a convenient spot for a few hours' rest prior to our 5 a.m. flight out of Kilimanjaro. It's convenient to the airport, clean, and the staff is very friendly and responsive. I would have given highest marks if the generators had worked during the power outage. There was a power outage during our stay, and they had trouble with their generators. So most of our time there was spent without power. There were power issues when we stayed at another place in Arusha, but their generators worked seamlessly. Seems to be a common occurrence, so properly working generators with sufficient capacity is crucial.

• Albert (9/5): - This property is not located in town so there isn't much to do nearby but the rooms are very clean and the bathrooms very modern. A typical breakfast is included with the stay and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it for travelers who just need a quiet place to rest.
• Donnelly (10/5): Very welcoming and helpful people! A beautiful place to stay. Would definitely recommend - Breakfast was quite delicious! We had fresh fruit, crepes, and delicious mango juice! The only downside is it’s a bit out of the way so could be difficult getting to and from without a vehicle. Additionally, our driver (not from safi house) had quite a difficult time finding the place.

Nos organizaron el transfer y nos pusieron el desayuno para llevar. Encantadores. El hotel es modesto, el agua salía un poco fría. Está más lejos de lo que Booking indicaba del aeropuerto. El camino está sin asfaltar y de noche se veía muy poco indicado.

• Anne (5/5): Als Notlösung für einen Zwischenstopp, mehr nicht - Netter Empfang, liebevoll angerichtetes Frühstück. Für tansanische Verhältnisse okay, aber für Europäer zu basisch - Bewertung bei Booking viel zu hoch. Die Unterkunft war leider insgesamt nicht sauber. Wir hatten Haare im Bett und ein paar Tierchen auf dem Boden. Klimaanlage zum Schlafen viel zu laut. Insgesamt hohe Lautstärke ab früh morgens durch Mensch und Tier (u.a. ein sehr ausdauernder Hahn). Vermittlung des Abholservices (21 Dollar für eine Strecke) hat nicht direkt geklappt: wir mussten beim Safi House anrufen und dann weitere halbe Stunde auf den Fahrer warten.

• julia (10/5): - Only stayed one night in between flights however my flight was delayed by 2 hours and they kept in constant contact to make sure my driver would still be there to pick me up, and at 2am still had a welcome juice for me and the staff welcomed me with a sleepy smile. Very comfortable, lovely breakfast and they let me have a late check out until my flight in the evening so I could relax. Highly recommend super lovely people and place very close to the airport by felt like home
• Andrea (8/5): Very comfortable to spend the night before our flight. - The cleaningness, comfort and service of the place is great for the value you pay. We needed to stay here 1 night before our flight back and it was a great place to do so. They were also super flexible with the check-in and check-out times that we are very thankful for! We also order dinner for the night we were staying and the food was delicious but it was plenty, that we asked if they could saved the other plate for the next day for our lunch and they did. Portions are big and tasty which is fantastic. The location despite being close to the airport it's far from anything else. So be mindful that you will likely have to stay at the hotel for the whole day. I wished they had board games or cards or something so we can entertain ourselves, but overall it's really good.

Our flight cancelled and I was stressed but they picked us up within 10mins of booking and the place is so so nice. The girl that checked us in was so welcoming and made us dinner cause we were so hungry even tho it was so late. And then they took us back to the airport at 5am. Highly recommend this place!! So so hospitable and nice!

• Christopher (10/5): Excellent budget option in reasonable proximity to Kilimanjaro Airport - We stayed twice at Safi House. The first time our incoming flight was delayed and we didn't arrive till 2 am. Safi House driver was there waiting for us despite the hour! It is about 25 minutes from the Kilimanjaro airport, making it one of the closest options. It is not expensive yet you feel like an Italian has designed the rooms. Nice hot shower. Comfortable bed. The staff are sweet, though only the lady of the house spoke English well. Communication via text or email was excellent. Can't fault the place. Nil

The location is close to Kilimanjaro airport, but down bumpy dirt roads with absolutely nothing around. But, the hotel is an oasis, so don't let the location hinder you from staying

I booked this hotel just to spend the night and catch my next flight the day after around 18:00, they let me have a late checkout without any issue or cost, also because I arrived late due to a delayed flight, they let me choose a later breakfast time. Just world class service.

• Elena (10/5): Clean, spacious, comfortable B&B close to the airport - I only stayed at Safi House one night in order to make a 5am flight out of Kili airport, but I was blown away by how accommodating they were for me. I arrived around 8pm and they made me a hot dinner which was extremely delicious, and then they gave me a ride to the airport at 2am for a small added fee. This was exactly what I needed for my stay, and really appreciate their hospitality! The room & private bath were sparkling clean, spacious and comfortable. This place is definitely off the beaten path (on a dirt road, ~15 minutes off the main road, ~30 min from airport) and I was a little nervous to be there alone as a female traveller, but they made me feel comfortable and secure. The house is thoroughly gated & locked up. For the price, hospitality & proximity to the airport, this place is more than worth it. Thank you Safi House!

• Rachel (10/5): I would stay there again! - Hospitality was excellent. The food was delicious. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. The staff was the best part. The ride to the airport was late but that was not the fault of the staff. We still made it to the airport on time because the staff at the hotel were able to quickly find us another ride.

• Foucachon (10/5): - I chose this hôtel because we were arriving on a late flight to Kilimanjaro before starting a safari next morning, it is rather close to the airport. We arrived at 2am and left at 6am and the staff took care of us and even made breakfast special for us. It was very clean and new.

Wir hatten auf 19.00 Uhr essen bestellt das dann aber erst gegen 20:00 Uhr fertig war. Niemand hat uns gesagt wo/ wann das essen kommt. Kommunikation zwischen Tür und Angel. Bei Abreiße war vorerst keiner zu finden. Dann wurden Wir auch noch ins falsche Taxi gehockt. Wenn das Personal besser kommunizieren würde, wäre jedem geholfen. 🙃

• Jaskaran (6/5): - It’s about a 30-40min drive from the airport but this is dependent on the road works. The property is a bit off the road but it does the job for 1 night. The staff were lovely. We struggled to pay for the room using our contactless, it eventually worked but it took nearly 30mins for the machine to connect to internet and it risked us being late for our flight. Pay with cash if possible.
