• zhuang (7/5): 还有更大改进的空间 - 位置很不错。也很舒适。可以预定各种后续旅途的票务！ 预定的时候他们发送邮件给我。说是收取美元。欧元 泰铢。收取当地的钱需要根据汇率波动！我特意准备了美元。但是到达以后他们不收美元。如果不收取。请不要发邮件给顾客。这样在很热的天气我不得不出门换钱。员工不太热络。也很少为游客介绍当地。也许是他们不好意思。但是总体还是不错的。
• Laurine (6/5): - L’emplacement dans le centre ville est super, les chambres sont relativement propres et les lits confortables. Il y a plusieurs équipements annexes sympa (piscine, billard et laundry) Contrairement aux autres commentaires les dames du petit-déjeuner étaient plutôt sympa mais tout le personnel ne l’est pas forcément. Il y a une douche et des toilettes dans la chambre ce qui n’est pas très agréable. Il y a d’autres douches et toilettes en dehors de la chambre mais c’est trop peu par rapport au nombre de personnes.

• Sarah (8/5): - We booked a private room which is actually not in the hostel itself, it’s in a guesthouse next door. We were delighted with this, the guesthouse name is Som Khounmeung and we couldn’t recommend it enough. The room was clean, modern and spacious and the hosts were very nice.

• Olivia (7/5): Does the job but not my fave hostel. - Nice location, easy to book tours through them. One of the nights I came back and my dorm toilet was blocked, when I told the staff they seemed really annoyed and then flushed the toilet 4 times so it over flowed and then did not mop the floor after.

• Rebecca (8/5): Had brokat igen! - Ägaren var super trevlig och hjälpsam. Alltid glad! Socialt boende med bra sociala ytor. Man kunde hyra scooter där för en rimlig peng. Tydligt med information med tåg och bussar som de kunde boka åt en. Boende har ett bra läge, nära night market. Rummet var bra för det pris man betala. Poolen såg ren ut och städades dagligen (prova aldrig den dock). Små skåp att låsa in värdesaker, inget stort för att låsa in väskan. Duschen var dumt placerat så hela badrummet blev blött.

Hostel staff was drunk and confused beds, the bathrooms could be cleaner, one of two toiletts in comman area had no lightbulp, strange athmoshere, staff took something from some girls but refused to give it back, breakfast is always 1 dry bread with egg variations

• Julia (8/5): Gemütlicher Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage - Gemütliches Hostel mit Pool in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Mit dem Sammeltaxi ab Flughafen ganz einfach zu erreichen. Die Lage ist super, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten ein hübsches Doppelzimmer mit Balkon und ein geräumiges Bad. Das Zimmer hat einen Deckenventilator und eine Klimaanlage. Es liegt im Guesthouse nebenan. Die Wäsche hat sehr gut gerochen. Seife und Shampoo wurden bereitgestellt. Warmes Wasser zum duschen ist da, man muss es allerdings erst länger laufen lassen. Kühlschrank und Wasser zum Zapfen für alle Gäste stehen neben der Rezeption zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, aber da wir sonst eh nicht frühstücken, war es für uns ok. Nachts ist es sehr laut. Entweder feiern die Leute vom Hostel bis in die Morgenstunden. Viel störender war aber das Hundegebell in der letzten Nacht bis früh um 3:00 Uhr. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken :-(. Deshalb gab es von uns Abzüge bei der Bewertung.

• Nelly (6/5): Je n’y retournerai pas, déçue !!!! - L’emplacement, les rencontres faciles avec d’autres backpackers L’accueil du jeune homme Vietnamien qui m’a promis une chambre pour le lendemain en prolongation de ma nuitée, et m’a, in fine, annoncé, le jour J, qu’il n’en avait plus, il m’a donc obligée à déménager, pas cool ! La propreté laisse à désirer dans les salles de bain, même pas un crochet pour les affaires, en général l’hygiène est très moyennement respecté, y compris l’eau de la piscine qui ne se renouvelle pas, un véritable bouillon de culture !

The staff is lovely, but all in all, the place is just run-down. The mattresses are completely worn out; you’re basically lying on the metal bars of the frame. The curtains don’t block the light properly, and since I was right next to the door where there was no curtain at all at the corner, I got a face full of light every time someone left in the morning. The toilet was moldy, the shower in the room didn't work, and everything was constantly wet. To top it off, the pool was dirty.

Tenían una piscina lo cual es un punto a favor, el destino incluido era genial y el personal estaba muy atento siempre. Sin duda es un lugar para repetir y ampliar tu estancia. Todo estuvo guay pero me hubiera gustado que hubiese jabón en los baños y duchas.

• Camilla (9/5): Recomendo! - Pessoal da recepção sempre muito atenciosos e dispostos a ajudar. Ótima localização, e gostei que o cacifo fica bem próximo a cama. A casa de banho fica dentro do quarto, e mesmo sendo 10 pessoas não ficava tão suja (a senhora limpava de manhã). Meu colchão tinha um buraco no meio, parecia estar quebrado, mas acabei colocando o lençol no buraco e dormi assim mesmo, não queria mudar de cama.

• Cherie (7/5): Luang Prabang town can be explored in one day but offers multiple day trips or overnight adventures - The location is perfect for night markets and has easy walkable distances to other main attractions. They advise a variety of activities and can assist with bookings. The bathrooms could do with some renovations as are quite old and rusty.
• Bramwell (8/5): Good hangout for the pool, but nothing special. - Let's be honest, we're all here for the pool! The room was decent too - comfortable bed, good AC, well ventilated etc. Big spacious house to hang out. Good location - just a few minutes walk to the main strip. Breakfast is very meagre (especially if you don't eat eggs!) eg two slices of toast with jam. Bathrooms are quite grubby, even by Laos standards. Not as social as you might expect.

The bed was uncomfortable; my top bunk was closest to the bathroom, and the sliding door kept hitting my pillow. The bathroom was not clean at all. For the price, I did expect better cleanliness.

• Eirene (7/5): Good location with pool - Good included breakfast, swimming pool, pool tables, great location set back from the street a short walk from night market, shopping and restaurants. Laundry service and tours. The bunk beds are fairly narrow. The bottom bunk curtains cover the ladder to the top bunk so you have to disturb someone else's privacy to climb up. Gap on side of bed for things to fall down. Our dorm was right next to the pool tables and socializing area and the walls were so thin that it was very loud and difficult to sleep. Had to ask people to be quiet at 2am and then young children were playing pool loudly before 7am. The staff should ensure people adhere to the quiet time rules.

• Frederik (10/5): Great for relaxing and optionally, socializing - Great for relaxing, and for socializing. Very good location (good cheap restaurant literally next door). The breakfast is solid and the lunch that they offer is also good. The receptionist sells tickets to boat tours etc. but he did not know ANYTHING about the trip he sells, not even the itinerary. Also, the pool water wasn't the cleanest. And the top bunk beds are open to the ceiling so it's very bright if anyone has their reading lamp on (which is very bright). But really, the hostel is still awesome.
