• Amanda (10/5): Excellently maintained, good position, great views of the ocean, easy walk into the town and other amenities - just amaz - Everything - well maintained, excellent position, comfortable and homely, plenty of cutlery/crockery, just brilliant. For us travelling with elderly relatives a ground floor bedroom with en-suite - well all rooms en-suite was pure luxury! Ground floor en-suite could have done with a walk-in shower, only because 91-year old could not shower. However only a minor issue.
• Elizabeth (8/5): Amazing stay would love to go back in summer - Large modern clean property which was perfect for a family of 9. Every room being en suite was fab! Great to have thee beach and a pub bang across the road. Great comms with the property managers they were very helpful Would definitely stay there again We stayed in December and it was very windy and the room at the top (with the single beds) was quite cold especially the bathroom even with 2 radiators in the bedroom and a heater. We were ok but it’s worth knowing about if you have elderly or really young people you’re thinking of putting in that room if it’s colder weather. The rest of the house was lovely and warm and you are able to turn the thermostat up or down
• Sutty (9/5): Excellent value money and a stunning property. Believe the pictures. - There was so much room. 10 of us and we all had private space. The bedrooms are huge! Nothing.
• John (8/5): Lovely location for our family to be all together. Especially for me, my grandparents had lived ther - Brilliant to be on the sea front. Comfortable room for us all to sit in, and table to eat at, for 8 of us. Found it odd not to have any black bags to use for rubbish, so we bought some. Had to search! On arrival, I needed to cook for us all - but was unable to know how to use the hob! No instructions, we all looked. Luckily, my contact was able to help, from elsewhere. Now I know to unlock the hob, by pressing down for a few seconds . Somewhat stressful after a long journey. ( since you ask)! Carving knife not sharp! No whisk! Concerned that we found a battery charger in the sitting room - not ours so left it on table.

• Sylvia (9/5): Superb - Beautiful house, lovely position, everything we hoped for our family get together. Bedrooms were large, showers were very good, kitchen had lots of equipment. Not much storage in the house for essentials brought from home for family of 9 - ie food or baby equipment in kitchen. Beds are on the hard side! No dustbin in bedroom - although there is in the bathrooms.
• Adam (10/5): Great property, great location - Great place. Kitchen/Dinner area is a great size for everyone to just sit and chat over drinks. Lounge is big and has space for some to watch TV at one end and the other end has space to sit chatting ...great if you've got kids with you. All the rooms are en-suite. One bedroom is by itself on the ground floor - through the kitchen/dinner - it was fine for us but worth bearing in mind if anyone would be uncomfortable sleeping downstairs. Location is good, right by the beach. Easy stroll into Hornsea high street. There is also a pub across the road - a chain pub - but food was good and staff were friendly. About 30 mins to Beverley and about 60 mins from York Park & Ride if you want a trip out.
• Caroline (8/5): Excellent location and spacious accommodation. - Key lock The outside area at the back needed a good clean. It was not pleasant to sit outside. We know it’s been winter but as dogs use it as a toilet I think a regular clean is needed. The floor and walls were filthy and the windows and frames could have done with a good wash. The window cleaner did the windows at the front while we were there so maybe he comes back to clean the rear of the building?
• Steven (9/5): We had a lovely family gathering and enjoyed the property once it had warmed up. - Spaciousness, modern, all bedrooms with en suites and a great location When we arrived (January) there was no heating on so it took a long time to get warm (with it being such a big house) and so not good especially for a 90 year old.
