• justine (10/5): Exceptionnel nous avons adoré le calme du lieu et le fait d’être un peu excentré et le personnel de - Les personnel de maison était sur place pour nous donner les clés et nous montrer le logement Petit bémol sur la terrasse autour de la piscine qui pourrait être changer
• Johanna (9/5): Une pause dans notre séjour qui fut très paisible - Nous avons apprécié le fait que ce soit éloigné et très calme, vraiment très reposant, le personnel est au petit soin ce qui est un plaisir Il n’y a rien en particulier que nous n’avons pas aimé mais il faut savoir que c’est assez éloigné, dans la pleine nature donc il y a des moustiques et il peut y avoir des bêtes, c’est le jeu !!!

• Maan (10/5): Geweldig mooi huis, super personeel en fijne host! - Geweldig groot huis, lief personeel, host reageert super snel. Het verblijf wordt bewaakt, erg fijn omdat het best groot is. Ze helpen je echt met alles wanneer er iets aan de hand is. Elke ochtend een lekker ontbijtje! Het zwembad en kamers waren top! Alles beviel
• Avisekh (10/5): The best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, but the road to the prerty needs serious repair - The best place I have stayed in Sri Lanka. It has that traditional house style that I like a lot. Pretty big and away from the noisy part of the town. I wish I stayed here longer. There is no restaurants nearby and property doesn’t have a restaurant. The road to the property is awfully broken, so it takes ages to get to the town for food! I wish they would have some influence to the local municipality to get the road fixed!

• Upekha (10/5): Exceptional - What an amazing & awesome time at THE RETREAT - WELIGAMA! Great place to relax and unwind in a classical villa atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery all around. Well curated property with traditional Sri Lankan antiquities combined with modern luxury. During our stay, we enjoyed taking a dip in the pool, strolling around the large garden area, reading books and playing games. Kids had a wonderful time too. It's a safe, super clean and comfortable set up for a perfect rejuvenation and relaxation... Situated in a strategic location (10 mins away from Weligama main town), the villa is the best hide out to completely forget the hustle and bustle of the city yet so close to all key attractions in the vicinity. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us, especially the two ladies, Inoka and Pradeepa ensured that we were comfortable and always greeted us with pleasant smiles. We had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend the place without any hesitation. This is definitely a 'must try' place in southern coastal belt. Thank you THE RETREAT team for you hospitality, one of the best we have experienced thus far!

The pool was perfect for cooling off and the breakfast was phenomenal! So tasty and the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Villa was clean, bed was comfortable and the furnishings were beautiful. A gorgeous place to relax. Thank you for a wonderful stay, can't wait to come back!
