• loic (10/5): - Malgré un passage très rapide à El Bamboo guesthouse, nous avons adoré le bungalow fait en bambous, plein de charme. L’hôte nous a très bien accueilli et accompagné pour notre excursion au volcan Ijen, nous recommandons vivement. Le logement se situe à 45 min en voiture du volcan, très pratique pour y accéder sans devoir se lever trop tôt. Encore merci pour ce séjour.
• Marielle (10/5): Une parenthèse paradisiaque au milieu des rizières - Le lieu est paradisiaque et l’accueil dans la famille de l’hôte est très chouette! Les repas et les petits déjeuners sont excellents. L’hôte fait tout pour vous faciliter le séjour que ce soit en étant taxi pour aller au volcan ou bien pour vous déposer au port.

• David (8/5): Une cabane de bambou au milieu des rizières - Le site au milieu des rizières est superbe à la nuit tombée. El Bamboo est très proche du Ijen. La famille qui gère El Bamboo est très sympa et aux petits soins. Nous avons pris une journée pour visiter une fabrique de café et caoutchouc et nous aventurer pour voir des cascades. Il est possible de manger sur place. La carte est cependant courte (avec des ruptures) quand on reste 3 jours. Cependant les plats sont très bons et il est aussi possible de choisir 2 ou 3 autres restaurants très proches.

• Claire (8/5): Quirky, rural, friendly and different - loved it!! - Slightly quirky, remote setting. Lovely huts set in a village but feeling jungle-esque! Is a family run place, really friendly and the food is simple but delicious, especially the Mie Goreng and Javanese pancakes. We left early to go to Ijen and they provided an omelette and pancakes packed up to take with us. The location is quite remote so can be tricky to find but it meant we saw a real village setting and rice fields etc. And it was quite humid so clothes get damp but the garden and river are amazing so it was worth it.
• Desy (9/5): Relaxte en sfeervolle accommodatie - Een sfeervolle en schone accommodatie. Middenin de natuur. Prachtig. Alles met liefde gemaakt en dat zie je. Zelfs een warme buiten douche! En een heerlijk bed. Luxe kamperen! Glamping! En het eten was heerlijk. Eigenaar heeft ons gehaald, gebracht, IJen tour geregeld. Top! Wij hebben het heel fijn gehad ondanks de regen. Als je houdt van luxe en veel comfort dan dit niet doen. Als je houdt van luxe kamperen in de natuur met smaakvol eten, bed, warme douche, eigen wc, dan niet aarzelen maar gewoon doen. Prijs-kwaliteit is erg goed. Door de regen (was voor ons beetje pech, want het regent uiteraard niet altijd ) wordt alles klam en krijg je je kleding niet droog. Kan eigenaar niets aan doen. En geen stoel of zitje voor je huisje. Maar kunt prima boven zitten. En we hebben frisdrank gemist. Geen probleem op zich , die kun je zelf meenemen (echter geen koelkast).
• claire (8/5): Cadre magnifique. - Cadre magnifique ! Des petites maisons en bambou noyées dans la nature. Accueil sympathique. Transport proposé depuis la gare ainsi que pour une excursion au Kawah Ijen. Possibilité de se restaurer sur place avec de petits plats délicieux préparés par notre hôtesse.
• Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay. The owners were super friendly and so kind! We arrived late and were hungry because of the travel, they welcomed us and gave us some homemade cake. And we could order some dinner. They gave us a lot of tips because we wanted to hike the vulcano mount Ijen. Next morning the breakfast was good and a warm welcome again!! Deffinitely recommend this place ♡ Also the place to stay was addorable and amazing!
• Gary (8/5): Very good - The guesthouse was nice enough. The room size was reasonable. It was clean. The bathroom was an open air bathroom which is ok unless it rains. The wifi was fairly weak and it rained while we stayed here so using the bathroom to brush your teeth was a bit of a problem.

• Zarif (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional stay in the middle of the jungle. The family prepares home cooked meals for you and helped us with our trek to Ijen. Highly recommend for a quick stay on the way to Ijen.
• Bas (10/5): Thanks! - Friendly family, beautiful environment, various food choices, clean and good facilities. We have been here a week and will certainly come back. Since we were so impressed by all the bamboo, the owner showed us how to weave bamboo and make kipas.. super nice! Long term stay recommended.. Time goes quickly
• Nike (10/5): An amazing experience in nature and kindness - The guesthouse is an amazing example of functionality, beauty, creativity and cleaning. It’s like you are inside a jungle for the night, sleeping hearing the sound of birds. Everything was clean, the host was incredibly kind. He pick up from Ketapang and organised everything for Kawah Ijen excursion. Than we had also dinner and breakfast and the food is amazing as well. Nothing all perfect
