Guest Reviews
- Lorraine (6/5): - Very modern No air on, no safe, hard to find as name of the apartment is on the poolside of the property
- Michelle (7/5): Very pleased with property , air conditioning would have been an added bonus . -
- Cristian (9/5): -
- ROBERTO NAVARRO (1/5): We felt unsafe . - Modern apartment . The apartment is at ground floor just next to complex entry facing public street . The windows doesn't have any protection against intruders . The apartment does not have any fan or air condition so you need to open the window to breath. We felt so unsafe that we left the place the next day .
- Taylor (7/5): Don't forget your dishwasher tablets! - Photographs sent to us showing lock box and entrance to the complex.
Earlier reviews suggested a lack of a kettle, toaster etc. We were pleased to see that said items were in the kitchen along with a family sized fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher (which needs a cleansing tablet!) with a hidden cutlery tray at the top of the machine The has no door number or name plate. It used to be a shop and is in between number 518 and 519. We arrived late at night and took quite some time to located the apartment.
We found, as a couple, the size of the living area was quite small and the settee was too small to sit comfortably side by side. The shower overflows but at least a bath mat was supplied which could be hung out to dry for use the following day.
The outside dinning table is very small and flimsy so we used table from the living room. You are forced to use the dishwasher as there is no draining surface if washing plates etc by hand. As there is no air conditioning the bedroom was very warm so we had to sleep with the door open. It would be unbearable in the height of the summer.
Finally, there are still marks from spillages on the walls and at time we noticed a smell of dampness as mentioned in earlier reviews.
- Daniel (9/5): All the issues in previous reviews regarding wall condition/no kettle have been resolved. - Lovely clean modern apartment, bed very comfy, pool fantastic, people around the complex very friendly, definitely would recommend and would 100% stay again. Would have benefited from a larger sofa in the room, also needs table/chairs for the outside area or would have scored 10/10.
- Mark (7/5): Quiet Complex ideal for a couple - The property is in a great location near the beach and the main strip with the restaurants and bars. The complex was lovely and quiet and the apartment is right opposite the pool which is great as I booked the property for my parents who have mobility needs so this apartment on the ground floor was very accessible for them.
The apartment overall they said was clean tidy and spacious for their needs however they felt that it could do with some small improvements such as a toaster in the kitchen. The apartment could also do with a safe for people’s personal belongings for safekeeping during their stay.
They found their bed comfortable but the only major concern was the shower as the water would go out into the bathroom floor as there was no barrier to stop the water exiting the shower which could cause a slip hazard.
Overall, they had a lovely experience at the apartment and would return again in the future.
- Craig (1/5): Bad for my health - The location The Mould
- James (3/5): Mould on walls - There was mould on the walls in the bedroom ,
There was a wall being built at our front every morning
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Very central and relaxing Pool was freezing but very refreshing
- Andrew (8/5): Compact apartment on a quiet and secure development - The apartment is situated in a nice area and only a short walk to a choice of supermarkets, the beach and the main strip. The swimming pool area is quiet and well maintained. Notwithstanding the issues noted below, it provided an ideal base for our one week stay which we enjoyed. The apartment has two bedrooms but is small overall. Any more than two people would find it cramped if used for much more than somewhere to sleep. There was a lack of crockery and cutlery, only one plate and one teaspoon on our arrival, although the former was quickly rectified by our host. At our request she also provided some more glasses.
There was some mildew on the walls and ceiling on our arrival, which was easily removed from the wall. The bathroom area gets very wet as the shower is level to floor with no tray. There are areas of damp and mold by the skirting board as a result. The outside area shown under the wooden pagoda, is actually a public thoroughfare and although we used it to sunbathe, worthy of note.
- Kathryn (5/5): Not fit for 3 adults. Much smaller than the pictures show. - Quiet
Pool
Responsiveness of the agent The walls of the apartment were a disgrace.
Coke stains, marks.
Have not been painted since it was renovated & certainly did not look like the pictures.
No outdoor space it’s communal.
- Laura (1/5): Dirtiest and smallest apartment I have ever stayed in in my life 🤢 - Location to beach front The dirtiest and smallest apartment. Not for 4 people. Walls and floors beyond filthy. Mouldy black bathroom. Draws broken, handles hanging off. One mirror in bathroom. Sheet didn’t fit quilt. No cutlery when we arrived. Place has not been deep cleaned for a long long time. Walls absolutely filthy. I ran out of there 🤢
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Majella (5/5): Passable - Pool was lovely No gas for 4 days couldn't cook also no electric kettle also paint work was very dirty
- Eamon (8/5): It was very enjoysble and comfortable overall - The terrace plus the fab pool right beside us was great. I would highly recommend the apartment. Pickup for keys etc very eas I would have liked an electric kettle....none provided. Coffee maker not working The floors could have been cleaner and nothing there to clean them with. The shower edge was dirty plus the couch was not very clean ..very grubby.
- Raymond (6/5): Enjoyable overall - Breakfast n/a
Great location. The kitchen was very well equipped. Great pool cleaned every day by very nice guys. A wardrobe and mirror in main bedroom would be needed as there was very little storage space.
Air conditioning and more cleaning service.the WiFi was very unreliable .
Cleaning and changing of towels and sheets was only once during our 2 week stay.Thankfully a washing machine was supplied
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Location was perfect, very safe and very clean... The apartment didn't suit my needs as a 1 parent and 3 teenager family...the pictures online made the place out to be bigger...my kids said on arrival 'we were catfished' it is mainly a residential complex...which would be ideal for a couple looking to relax...no reception, no amenities on site...the host was very accomidating, lovely interactions, very helpful...I just wouldn't go back at this moment with my family situation but if I was to go as a couple...absolutely perfect 😀
- Laura (9/5): Fantastic Apartment…would return in a heartbeat - Love the layout and the new freshness
Spotless clean
Most comfortable bed and pillows No aircon was the only downside which was needed so had to pay extra
Very small and some wont care but no full length mirror only one small mirror in the bathroom
- Katie (7/5): Good - Great location, lovely swimming pool. Nice layout of the property. Comfy beds. Very warm at times as no air conditioning unit.
- Ernest (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent and comfortable. Would definitely come again - Clean property and well presented . Very friendly neighbours Couldn’t locate the kettle so used stove to heat water
- Malin (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (9/5): A lovely apartment in a good location- please note that while it is a two bed apartment - it is not suitable for 4 adult - Great location just a short walk from the main strip in PDC New Town- a lovely modern apartment in a small quiet complex- with a fully equipped modern kitchen for self catering Nothing not to like about the apartment- just some recommendations- the Sun loungers around the pool are very uncomfortable- it would be great to have a few relaxing/ folding Sun loungers @ the property for use by the guests- I requested Sun chairs ( and was willing to hire / buy them for our stay) - gscav supplied one chair after a few days which I was very pleased with.
The double bed is very comfortable but the pillows are very uncomfortable and hard
Some additional cutlery, kitchen ware and wine glasses would be appreciated- there was just enough cutlery and kitchen ware for 4 and no wine glasses ( I bought some for our stay)
