Guest Reviews
- Liam (9/5): Nice place, quiet location. - Quiet location and spacious. Pretty clean. The floorboards are sanded and super smooth, combined with the thin rugs that are all over the property it’s a serious slip hazard. We moved them all out of the way in the lounge/bedrooms/hallway. The non slip floor stickers do nothing with thin rugs.
Asked if they had a bbq and told no, there was one there though.
- Caroline (8/5): Cosy house in a great area. - A house with lovely large rooms great for our dogs and family. The garden was enclosed and was very safe for the dogs. The kitchen was well equipped and the Aga made the kitchen really cosy. Furnishings were very sympathetic to the age of the house giving a shabby English feel.
The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were very spacious so much so that they could have had a little bit more furniture in them. Although the house was a little outside of Aldeburgh it was a quick walk and nice to be away from the main street. We would definitely return to this house it is in a great area and was very comfortably furnished. The house as a whole could do with the little TLC including the garden which is a little overgrown and unloved. Painting around the house including the window frames could be a little bit more pristine along with the cleaning in these areas. The water pressure in the showers was shocking and didn't make for a great experience I did mention this to the agent hopefully they will take some action regarding this. The dishwasher also did not work particularly well and this has also been reported.

- Philip (8/5): Stunning house, perfect location, needs more love to justify the price - Absolutely fabulous location 5 minutes walk to everything. Very peaceful and spacious property. This house is run on a shoestring as a money making machine. The facilities fall well below what one would expect at the price charged. The garden in unkempt, the grass uncut, the outdoor furniture well past its sell by date. The dishwasher is as basic as they get. None of the old mismatched cutlery and crockery are clean. There are no oven gloves for example. This is all very sad as it really is a stunning house in a most beautiful part of the world which was ideal for our three generational family and two dogs. It is also very difficult find as the directions and map do not take you to the property. It is also a gated community with one entrance blocked off to the estate at weekends and bank holidays.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (9/5): Gorgeous large family house - The house is HUGE, the kitchen is a real family kitchen, and the Aga kept it so cosy. Everything we needed for a family stay.
Large bedrooms, clean and bright. 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo. Good WiFi, ample parking and pleasant garden if you were staying in better weather. Would happily move in, beautiful property Could benefit from more info, more details of the areas recycling rules, working of the Aga etc.
Info booklet wasn't obvious initially, hidden underneath post. Heating didn't come on, so I had to get advice. Sorted promptly, the house warmed up lovely.
- Peter (6/5): Nice property and location needs basic bits sorting. - Breakfast not applicable location was very good close to beach and local amenities. Garden overgrown needed tidying up nettles growing ,weeds in patio unsecured garden problem with muntjacs coming through the bottom of the garden under the overgrown bushes, problem with arga stove so couldn’t use it for three days still not fixed when we left .told it has been playing up for three years.tv aerial cable unplugged and hidden up the side of the wall ,if it wasn’t for the maintenance man sent round we would not have got the tv working,no information about local emergency numbers doctors, vets could have been a lot better with TLC.
- Darren (8/5): The house is good value, yes it does need a revamp but we found it a lovely place to stay and as a family we enjoyed bei - Good location, spacious and homely carpets need replacing, Maintenance poor
- Kirsty (8/5): Convenient well priced property for a group of girls. - Lots of space and facilities Downstairs toilet has a leak carpet was wet.
Wasn’t too bothered but Not many toilet rolls supplied .
Shower in en-suite wasn’t very well positioned to shower under.
