Guest Reviews
- Ruth (10/5): Really nice time, great value for money - Lovely place, with lots of necessities provided by the host. Very spacious living room/kitchen. Was warm and comfortable, and they provided lots of nice pillows for the bed. Very close to a convenient bus stop for getting into town. The instructions provided by the host were very clear and informative. I had a really good stay and was very impressed by the value for money. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a place for a couple of days. I arrived in the dark and rain and really struggled to open the lockbox. I could not see what I was doing without a light, but needed two hands to open the lockbox. It was very slippery and took me 20 minutes to open, eventually opening to what I had been trying to do the whole time.
- robert (10/5): Very clean, great location if you want to walk into the city. Clean, comfy and tremendous value. - Parking was tricky but not impossible. Easy walk to city centre. Nice little continental selection for breakfast. Absolutely amazing value for money i was really impressed. Boiler was off so not hot water or heating. Didn’t take long to figure out but maybe someone else might struggle. Coffee machine was provided but had the wrong pods.

- Rebecca (6/5): Nice place, but don't believe the parking on offer - Lovely apartment, I was surprised how spacious it was and it had a really nice vibe and decor. It would have been nice to stay for a few days. This apartment caught my eye because the listing stated that it had "free on-site private parking", which I needed so it was worth going for this accommodation over the other options. But after the cancellation period was over and my card had been charged, I was contacted to offer a parking permit for £10. I think that's dishonest, and by then I didn't have time to arrange an alternative place to park or to stay. It was very hard to park in the area when I arrived and I lost a lot of time trying to find somewhere. I booked this place because it said parking would be free and private, and it was neither.

- Sarah (8/5): A lovely cosy apartment - Had everything I needed provided, very clean and cosy. Lovely touch having the lamps on when I arrived The area looks a bit rough with lots of graffiti and didn’t want to leave the apartment to explore as a woman on her own. This wouldn’t stop me booking again as I felt safe inside.
- Anna (10/5): -
- Marina (10/5): Comfortable and quiet. The breakfast bits were a lovely touch. 10/10 stay - Spacious and clean.
Location was great and easy to navigate N/A
- DOUGALL (1/5): - There was a bread roll covered in green mold and 2 week out of date eggs??
- Danny (10/5): -
- Dimitri (8/5): Bel appartement dans un quartier calme - Appartement spacieux , très bien équipé et entretenu , dans un quartier calme La literie aurait besoin d’être renouvelée
- Neil (8/5): Good apartment in a good location near Bristol citty centre - The flat is well equipped. The location is good with decent bus routes. The bus 25 runs along City rd although it is not very reliable going into Bristoll centre. Better coming back. There is a grocery store five minutes walk away _ Mr Singhs Crocery, and they have most items to prepare aa meal. The restaurants and cafes are about 7-10 minutes wallk away towards the city.
The host kindly left egges, instant posidge and coffee, tes and sugar are there to be used. The kitchen cupboards could do with some attention..The coffee cafetiere jug was missing - so a new one for the ground coffee would be needed The big coffee machine needs an instruction leaflet for those not used to such things - me! TV is big but doesnt have apps such as iplayer and tivx installed. That can be done easily.
- Liam (10/5): Lovely cosy stay - Cosy and clean. We'll located.
- dave (10/5): -
- Hall (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy
- James (10/5): exceeded expectations for the price - Excellent value. Clean, comfortable, spacious apartment, with full kitchenette and open plan living area. Bathtub as well as shower. The host was very helpful by text and the apartment was well attended to. She really makes the effort to look after It and the finishing touches make all the difference. It has character as well as cleanliness and comfort. Would definitely stay here again.
- Mike (10/5): Fantastic hosts and stay. If I could score 6 then I would! - instructions were sent in advance and were easy to follow
I also locked myself out and they helped get me back in !!!
- Jude (7/5): Very comfy and well presented, excellent value for money, facilities lacking a little. - Breakfast is a nice touch. Bed was very comfy, thoroughly furnished and beautifully presented, as was sofa. Apartment was pretty much spotless and nicely decorated. Kitchen/dining room is lovely and roomy. Location is fine and fairly near to Bristol city centre. Excellent value for money. Facilities could have been better; no hot water during my stay, no plug for the kitchen sink and no tea towels meant that washing up, showering, etc was all more difficult than it needed to be. No baking trays in the kitchen either (though was still able to cook myself a meal).
- Traynor (9/5): Superb - Spacious clean apartment. Was a little hard to get a reply from property owner. But maybe a good reason I don't about.
- Shivam (4/5): Disappointing - The house was okay like always No hot water in the morning, couldn't shower
- Shivam (4/5): Good place but some basic flaws - I have stayed here on 3 occasions now but I probably won't return, there was no hot water this time in the morning to take a shower. I had to shave with cold water and leave to work without bathing. I tried to adjust all the boiler settings but it didn't work
- Jack (7/5): Good - All round superb stay especially for the price!
A few little niggles but no major issues - would stay again
- Jemma (10/5): Great place to stay - Very spacious, lovely apartment, great location.
Clean and tidy.
Lovely welcome bottle of wine, and breakfast left
Lovely touch
Comfy bed.
Overall would defo recommend a stay here
Even toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch also.
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Shivam (9/5): good for a work night stay - good clean flat, good space for spending a night, the host left loads of things for breakfast, there were also coffee pods and tea bags the mattress cover did not appear clean and the blanket was very small, there was also no soap liquid in the handwash soap dispenser
- Paula (9/5): Spacious and comfortable recommended - It was very spacious and clean and an amazing deal. When the heating came on it was warm and comfortable. Location was good, near restaurants and content shops . Very near Montpelier train station. Host was great It took a while to warm up as I guess it hadn’t been occupied in a while. Only about 4 tv channels. I would’ve liked a microwave. Bed was nice but I’m old so a memory foam would’ve been great
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Wi-Fi password didn’t work …
- David (9/5): Very convenient for visiting Bristol city centre, easy to find, and a lovely place to stay - Very cosy, clean and spacious, close to city centre
- Jonah (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was A1 Distance from Train station
- Louise (7/5): Satisfactory, but a few tweaks would make it great. - The morning sunlight coming through the windows in the front room, the bedding was comfortable and felt nice, great selection of toiletries in the bathroom. The huge pane of glass missing on the landing outside the front door of the flat, very basic tv channels, instructions for entry were received only 2hrs before check on time.
- Carole (1/5): Poor value and grotty - ..... The place I very tired and whilst saying it's an exclusive apartment it is a flat in a rented block in a very rough looking area. It wasn't somewhere I felt safe in. It said private parking but there wasn't it was street parking and I had drive around and park a few mins away as it was so busy the shower leaked and it was dirty
- Skivington (9/5): Superb -
- Jack (8/5): Nice dtay - Good size. Left a nice little breakfast stash and a little champagne bottle was a nice touch. Had to call several times to find get the code to the key box
- Mohammed (7/5): Good -
- Marisa (8/5): A wonderful spot for a short stay - Wonderful stay; lovely apartment! Some very minor wear and tear in places. It could maybe benefit from some very minor updates.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Perfect birthday getaway. Incredible value for money - Property was amazing. Clean, comfy, smelt lovely. Everything you could need. Bed was extremely comfortable. Host quick to respond and very friendly. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough
- Urma (1/5): Bad -
- Thomas (1/5): Drove off without stepping foot in the door - The property was not as described. This is a room within a house on a housing estate.
No parking anywhere near the property as advertised.
The phone number provided for key collection, no one answered.
People smoking what appeared to be drugs by the front entrance of the property.
Didn't even step foot in the property, just drove away to find an alternative.
- Karl (8/5): Very good - Flat was nice and clean, and was met by the vendor's daughter who was very polite. Distinct lack of parking, which isn't made clear on the advert
- Sam (8/5): Very good -
- Varela (9/5): Superb -
- Elaine (1/5): Bad - It was clean but very tired and worn. The smell in apartments was bad and overpowering. Did not stay there. Especially the location. The area in which the apartment was situated was very unsavoury. The smell as you entered the building was choking. I paid for parking ,there was no parking space. As an older person I would not stay there, I did not feel safe. I had to look for a different accommodation in a better area. Very disappointed and an expensive 2days to take my Grandaughter to a hospital procedure, which I really couldn't afford.
