• Ian (8/5): Nice spot well positioned for Marina and Old Town - Lovely modern interior, Beautiful small courtyard with raised seating area and table and chares on lower level. Smart TV, washing machine, coffee machine. Good modern secure door. Bedroom facing street has a metal blind to keep light out and improve security. Nice modern toilet and shower room with walk-in monsoon shower All in all we really enjoyed the property but here are some more minor issues to be aware of. Not something the owners can change but worth knowing for those renting, we were there in april and the sun does hit the seating area from around 10.30 to 14.00 then continues on parts of the lower level until around 16.30 but not all the areas due to the high walls. We didnt find it a big issue but we do like to sit in the sun in the early morning to sip coffee and admire the surroundings and if that's what you are looking for as we were there are a number of cafe's within 2 mins walk with beautiful sitting areas and views to get coffee and breakfast but they dont open till after 10. Inside the apartment an observation is that the monsoon shower head means the water flow really struggles to fill the head and give a decent flow to shower in (looks nice though...). I did alter the angle to direct the flow slightly further away from the taps and the water only flowed out of the bottom half of the head due to the flow rate. Another thing the flat could benefit from is a safe to give confidence for your valuables while you visit. Although not the fault of the accommodation owner this unit is a ground floor of a 2 unit building with a unit above. The access door from the street leads to an inner area where the stairs go up to the apartment above and you walk straight forward for the door to Casa Pateo, unfortunately the family above leave what appears to be every pair of shoes the family owns (parents and kids) on the stairs up which presented a quite distinct smell in the entrance hall. Easily resolved if the owner discussed this with the upstairs owner, even with a can of shoe deoderant. Also the family were up each morning at 07.45 and with the usual bustle of getting everyone ready there was quite a bit of noise above until 08.30 when they left for the day

• Vanesa (9/5): Excelente apartamento para disfrutar de Albufeira - Todo el apartamento está genial. Y la terraza es muy chula para estar de relax. El papel higiénico fue escaso para los días que estuve. Dejar un rollo más estaría bien...
• Dille (7/5): Prettig verblijf met een aantal verbeterpunten - De accommodatie was gelegen in een fijne buurt, erg dicht bij het strand en het centrum van Oud Albufeira was op korte afstand van lopen. Er zit ook een erg fijne supermarkt dichtbij. De keuken is van van alles voorzien en er is een wasmachine wat erg fijn was! Het is een erg moderne en schone accommodatie met fijne airconditioning en een leuk buitenterras. De wifi was buitengewoon slecht. 20MBps aan internetsnelheid kan in onze ogen tegenwoordig echt niet. Wanneer je met meer dan 1 apparaat gebruikmaakt van de Wifi kelderde de snelheid naar 1 MBps waardoor de meest simpele dingen zoals iets opzoeken op internet een uitdaging was. In de slaapkamer is er amper/geen wifi verbinding en door het slechte mobiele bereik in de accommodatie/buurt kun je ook niet het mobiele netwerk gebruiken. Er worden geen schone handdoeken geleverd tenzij je hier naar vraagt. We hebben eenmalig nieuwe handdoeken gekregen, dit terwijl de gastheer via de chat had beloofd dit meerdere keren om te wisselen. Ook faciliteiten zoals toilet papier en vuilniszakken zijn minder goed geregeld. We verbleven een week in deze accommodatie en hebben zelf nieuw toiletpapier en vuilniszakken moeten kopen. De douche was vanwege de lage waterdruk ook minder fijn dan verwacht.

• Raluca (10/5): A stylish, peaceful retreat with a caring host and a perfect location close to everything. - Loved the property — chic and beautifully decorated. The host was very kind; when the address on Booking led me slightly off, he personally came to meet me. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet at night, yet still within walking distance of the beach, old town, and plenty of restaurants.

• Iren (10/5): - The apartment exceeded all expectations—it’s even better than in the photos! Spotlessly clean, beautifully organized, and with a stylish aesthetic that makes you feel at home instantly. Location 10/10! But the real highlight was the host: hands down the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had plenty). We happened to stay during the Europe-wide outage, when nothing was working and we didn’t even have cash on hand—and our host went above and beyond to help us out. Honestly, he saved our lives. Can’t recommend this place enough!

• Tara (10/5): This was the perfect haven to stay in. A place I imagine I could live in. It was elegant, comfortable and simply setup - I love staying in this area and have stayed in other properties from this company! The space is always so clean and comfortable and stylishly setup.
• Kathy (10/5): Stunning apartment in an ideal location - Everything! Stunning decor and ideal location for Old Town. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could ever need, even down to a salad spinner! Will definitely be rebooking for our next trip.
• Ella-Maria (9/5): Stylische Wohnung mit toller Terrasse - Super schöne und stylisch eingerichtete Unterkunft. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat besonders die Terrasse mit der tollen Beleuchtung gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Bett war leider extrem hart und echt ungemütlich (kein Lattenrost und sehr harte Matratze).

• Tabea (9/5): Moderne und umfangreich ausgestattete Unterkunft in Albufeira - Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern eingerichtet und umfangreich ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber, Check-In und Check-Out liefen reibungslos. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und reagierten schnell auf unsere Anliegen, so wurde ein defekter Föhn am nächsten Tag ausgetauscht. Besonders im Sommer sind zwei Klimaanlagen praktisch, eine im Schlafzimmer und eine im Wohnbereich, sodass sich die Wohnung nicht aufheizt. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer eher ruhigeren Umgebung und besticht durch ihre Nähe zum Meer. In unmittelbarer Nähe sind einige Cafés und Restaurants. In das Zentrum sind es ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Es gibt keinen festen Parkplatz vor der Wohnung, sondern Parkmöglichkeiten in der Straße und in der direkten Umgebung. In der Hochsaison kann es bei den vielen Strandbesuchern schwierig werden, einen Parkplatz zu finden. Die Matratze ist leider sehr unbequem, man spürt jede Feder. Auch die Temperatur des Leitungswassers variierte teilweise und lies sich nicht steuern. Das Wlan ist leider alles andere als schnell und sehr stockend. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wäre es zudem angenehmer, mehr als zwei Handtücher pro Person zu bekommen.
• Miriam (6/5): - Las instalaciones y la ubicación Para el precio que tiene faltaban algunos detalles como jabón de manos, una botella de agua de recibimiento, productos de limpieza, pocos rollos de papel, en definitiva, no vimos que cuidasen los detalles. Aparte de esto tuvimos la experiencia de que estábamos haciendo check-out, dejamos la puerta abierta para sacar las cosas y las limpiadoras estaban en la puerta diez minutos antes de la hora esperando de brazos cruzados con mala cara, lo que aparte de ser incómodo da una mala imagen y poca profesionalidad de gestión. Debería de haber un rango de media hora entre que sale el cliente y entra el personal, ya que, estos no se deberían de cruzar. A esto se le suma que no estábamos dentro porque quisiésemos, si no porque a mi pareja le dio un golpe de calor y estaba tumbado en el suelo con los pies en alto, debido a esta conducta por parte de las limpiadoras nos vimos obligados a salir antes de tiempo estando mal.

If you stayed under 7 nights there was no linen change or extra towels provided. Coffee appliances are provided but no coffee pods/powder are supplied.

• Juliana (10/5): Uma estadia maravilhosa no coração de Albufeira - Ficar neste apartamento de um quarto no coração de Albufeira foi um prazer absoluto! A localização não poderia ter sido melhor, apenas a um passo da praia e a um curto passeio da vibrante marina. O apartamento em si estava muito bem decorado, com todos os confortos de casa e muito mais. Estava impecavelmente limpo e bem conservado, proporcionando um retiro acolhedor depois de um dia a explorar a cidade. O anfitrião foi incrivelmente recetivo e acolhedor, garantindo uma experiência perfeita desde a reserva até ao check-out. No geral, a nossa estadia superou todas as expectativas, e mal podemos esperar para voltar no próximo ano!

O apartamento estava completamente equipado com tudo o que precisávamos. A localização a poucos passos da praia é fantástica e a zona é também bastante calma. A atmosfera acolhedora e a decoração adicionaram um toque especial à nossa experiência, fazendo-nos sentir em casa. Recomendamos vivamente a quem procura uma escapadela relaxante e memorável junto à praia!

Absolutely amazing place to spend your holidays,styles and cozy at the same time. Everything is new,the house is perfectly equipped and in a very good location. Walking distance to the beach and Marina de Albufeira.Basically in an old centre of the city.Good area,quiet and friendly.
