Guest Reviews
- John (7/5): Satisfactory once the check in issue was sorted. - Location Check in APP & Keys not being on site. The APP is a clever idea, but had two technical failures with it & when you don’t know what is supposed to happen as a one off user, that is problematic. Was left struggling to access apartment. Fortunately the building reception were very helpful.

- Chapman (10/5): Apartment was well located and also well equipped. - Location! Location!location!
This was a very important as we had to catch the train to Narangba every day which made this very important.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Mary (10/5): - The location was fantastic - close to the river and to public transport. It was very comfortable.
- Ray (9/5): - Location is excellent , facilities are good ...jenny is well committed Tea options were less

- Emma (8/5): Very comfortable stay in a great location - The location of this property is fantastic. It is across the road from the Central train station and within walking distance of Queen Street Mall. The host Jenny has also been fantastic to deal with. The room is within Adina Hotel, however as you aren't a hotel guest, you aren't able to check in via the hotel or leave your luggage at the reception.
- Raymond (5/5): Pleasant but I wouldn’t stay there again . Too much hassle retrieving keys then dropping them off. Ridiculous - It was a very nice room It wasn’t owned by the hotel and the hotel is called Adina. I had to walk a short distance to retrieve the room key. Not good after a very long flight and bags to carry.
- Ann (10/5): Definitely will stay there again whenever in Brisbane. - Fantastic location. Beautiful decor. All requirements met.
- Emma (10/5): Comfy and clean with everything we needed. - The location was great. We hopped off the train and walked across the road into the hotel. Shower head sprayed a lot, but better if you turned it on very low.
- SOPHIE (8/5): A comfortable room in a great location. Amenities were perfect for a short stay. Styling was very sweet. Thank you! - Location was great. Room was comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out. Shower head was spraying through side and shower wasn’t cleaned well. Lots of condensation in the room after showers.

- Joe (7/5): Good - All you need, little bit different feel to most Shower head defiantly needs replacing, and 3 pm check in, was sat in hotel for 4 hours and I bet the room was vacant that whole time, staff was no help

- shirley (8/5): Great location - Location and comfortable apartment. Bathroom needs a little work.
- Sandra (8/5): -

- Laurie (9/5): Comfortable and close to everything. - Well kitted out, very close to CBD and transit, nice aesthetic. Only issue is that it was not clear that the room is situated in a hotel, even when I asked if luggage could be stored on site upon early arrival.
- Leanka (10/5): Great studio close to everything! - This was a lovely little studio with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Nespresso machine was a great bonus, and the little goody bag of snacks was such a thoughtful personal touch. The room was beautifully styled and well-equipped with great amenities. The location couldn’t have been better, just steps from the city centre and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and Suncorp Stadium, which was ideal! The only downsides were that the hotel staff felt a little cold and not particularly welcoming, though of course this wasn’t the fault of our lovely host. We also would have appreciated a Chromecast or similar device on the TV to be able to stream movies or shows beyond just free-to-air channels.
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adele (6/5): Supermarket downstairs, close to shopping and transport. Good for a couple of nights. - Location, shower pressure Renovation works in hallway, strong paint fume smells , hallway carpet relaid over several days- not communicated. Couple of faults in room re lighting cable on bedside lamps . The toilet cistern extremely slow to fill. On entering room - housekeeping was average , carpet needed a good strong vacuum.
- Gaella (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location. Good room. Well fitted out with modern appliances for independent stay ( although I was out for both nights so didn't use).
- Renée (8/5): Very good - Great location, close to everything The bed was quite hard. It definitely needs a pillow topper.
There were no power points near the table to work on a laptop
- Brendan (9/5): Superb - perfect location across the road from central station n/a
- Joan (10/5): Had a great nights sleep after a hectic reunion. Ciao Bella is beautifully decorated & just right for short stays. - Perfect in every way! Perfect
- Jono (9/5): Happy Days! Thanks for the goodies bag! - Location is great for quick access to restaurants etc. Mattress was a little firm but comfier than a swag! 😁
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Rohit (9/5): Excellent location, great staff, good value for money - Location, Location, Location
Very good staff
Short walk from central station
Central location, close to city centre
Easy access to transport including train to airport
Close to shopping
Good restaurants nearby
Walking distance to Southbank A bit dated, needs refurbishing
Was charged extra $ to cover for possible damage, which was not disclosed upfront
Would appreciate if this was disclosed at booking
Maintenance work was ongoing which caused some inconvenience
- Ratu (10/5): Exceptional - Very modern interior and design did enjoy my stay.
- Karen (8/5): Comfortable place to stay, in a great location -
- Kazukicheng (8/5): Convenient location just opposite to the central station with many good restaurant nearby. - The location is exceptional!
- Evelyn (8/5): Very good -
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Gregory (7/5): Good -
- Bec (9/5): Great location - Location No mat for bathroom and bedsheets looked dirty, paying extra for early check in
- John (2/5): Very poor - A very stylish (compact) room.... but! A slow water drip from the ceiling air con, onto the end of the bed, and carpet. Reported it to reception. As a private apartment (not a part of Adina) they could do nothing about it.
They said there was no available room to transfer me to. The property owner sent a message suggesting I get them to give me another room. No sorry, no apology; dumped it back on Adina.
With back and forth (I was out for dinner) it was finally reserved: I was given another room.
Also, I had asked for a early check-in; but got no reply from the owner.
Assumed that was ok. Checked-in; the cleaner was still in the room.
Never again!!
- Cherry (9/5): Superb - wonderful location stay 7 night, no fresh towel.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Tiffany (8/5): Very good - The location was fantastic
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Stella (2/5): Unsatisfied with the hotel staff and the hotel itself. - I liked that it was close to the main city, the location was great and helpful to get around. The receptionist staff were rude, for example online there was images of a pool being shown, but when i went down to the receptionists they were not helpful with this and told me “that there’s nothing they could do about that.” i then said i would not have stayed here if i had known there was no pool because one of the booking websites says that there is a pool yet there is not one when we got there. i then went down a few days later and asked for a blanket for the room as we did not have a spare in the cupboard or anywhere (as i had searched top to bottom everywhere for a blanket) so i spoke to the receptionist about getting a blanket as we were cold at night and she told me “there should be one in your cupboard” to which i explained that there was no blanket in the cupboard or anywhere and she responded “there’s nothing i can do sorry we don’t have any spare blankets.” (this receptionist didn’t even go to have a look for the blankets either she just stood there and blankly said she couldn’t help us). I woke up the next morning to the cleaners outside my room cleaning other rooms and they had more than ten blankets sitting on the top of their cart, which made me really upset because the receptionist did not even bother to have a look for a simple thing that we did not have in our room to begin with. There was only two towels in our bathroom, which is fine but having a shower everyday and having the towel be damp everyday was not great. I would not recommend booking at Ciao Bella or the Adina Hotel again as that was a bad experience from the staff and the lack of resources that were not provided for us in our hotel room (blankets pillows, spare towels, and only 3 rolls of toilet paper for 7 nights).
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gert (10/5): Central apr - Excellent location at the end of Airtrain from the airport. Opposite the Central Station is the apartment inside the huge Adina apartment block. Get the key from their reception. Everything in the flat was new and it had a fridge, microwave, boiling jug and coffee maker. No other cooking facilities.
- Belinda (9/5): Comfortable and cosy !! - Bed bed bed!!!
Close to everything
- Karen (7/5): Good - Walking distance to CBD. The room smelled damp. The AC filter hasn't been changed and you could see dirt hanging from it. You needed the AC on otherwise room got stuffy.
- Keith (9/5): a very comfortable and cosy room - the room was very cosy and homely, tidy wi fi
- Mohan (8/5): Very good - 24/7 access and nice lobby Expensive car parking
- Alanna (8/5): Host was great. Really good communication. Can’t wait to stay again. . Awesome location - Location was perfect for us. Nothing
- Barbara (7/5): Good - STAYED FOR 6 NIGHTS AND NO LINEN CHANGE, WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A FRESH SET OF TOWELS. COULDNT LOG INTO THE TV VIA WIFI WHICH WAS A BUMMER AS WHEN YOU COME HOME FROM A LONG DAY OUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO LOG IN AND WATCH A MOVIE. IN THIS DAY OF TECHNOLOGY, YOU THINK EVERY SMART TV WOULD BE CONNECTED.
- Mike (9/5): Very good, will look at staying there again. - Mostly it was the location, quiet & very close to public transport, shopping & eating places. Only the ceiling panel was missing
- Olivia (7/5): Apartment in a great central location - Great central location. Walking distance to most Brisbane attractions. Host was responsive when contacted. The missing air conditioner cover on the ceiling in the middle of the room which left a large hole. The AC was very noisy and was either on full blast or off, no way to adjust it.
- Glenn (9/5): Superb -
- Maree (9/5): Loved staying at Ciao Bella and the service offered by our host, Jenny. Love Brisbane. - The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable, even had a coffee machine! The entire apartment building was beautifully presented and in an excellent location actually centrally located. We travelled from the airport by Airtrain to Central station and the apartment was directly across the road. Next door to the building was a small Metro (Woolworths) supermarket - very handy. There was a problem with our booking a few days before departure, and our host displayed great generosity of spirit in resolving it in our favour. We highly recommend Ciao Bella and Jenny, its owner, and the service she offered. Nothing of consequence. There could have been a bit more benchspace, but we were hardly in the apartment during the day any way and we managed in the morning with breakfast. Going down to the CBD via Edward street was a big hill. No problem, going down, but coming up revealed our age, or maybe just the fact we weren't fit enough!!!!!
- Terrena (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (8/5): Lovely room in a superb location. Just don't bring a car unless you really need to. - Incredibly central, well decorated room that was well organised. We particularly appreciated the real coffee! The main issue was the amount of correspondence from the host - it was insane the amount of messages and emails we received. All were automated, and when we tried to actually call the host they were unavailable and my email went unanswered.
Parking - the host asked us to contact the hotel to book a parking spot - the hotel told us the host had to do it. As we couldn't reach the host, the hotel kindly let us park anyway.
We have propertied of our own which we let, so we make a point of taking care of other people's properties. We didn't appreciate being told in one of the 20 odd emails that if we didn't do the washing up and take out the rubbish we would have to pay a penalty.
- Richard (10/5): Smart, light filled room with everything you need - Light filled, clean and central location Nothing at all
- David (10/5): Great value for money for a modern studio in the heart of Brisbane - Great location, lovely studio. All you need Nothing - was all top notch
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Ramon (7/5): Good - Good location, good size room Poor check in, too many emails about the booking
- Melissa (8/5): Comfortable and convenient stay - Great convenient location to city and trains. Clean and tidy with good amenities and special touches.
- Ana (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): Ciao Bella is a lovely appartment in a great spot in the Brisbane CBD. I’m is opposite the Central Train station so adds - Compact but everything you need is there. Lovely decor, really nice bathroom and shower was fantastic. Just what you need after a long day out.
It is situated in the heritage listed Adina Hotel which is a beautiful building.
very well maintained and nice and clean. We stayed for 5 night but only one towel per person was provided. I think if staying longer than 3 nights an additional towel is needed. We did request one each and got a response immediately and sent extra towels so very happy.
- Gleeson (8/5): Will be back for sure - Great location - right in the centre of the city but very quiet. Parking is a bit clunky, 15 to 20m
wait for the car to be brought up.
