• Liesl (8/5): - Beautiful house but unfortunately wasn't told about the extra cost to pay for the hot tub when making the booking. This may have been a booking app issue.. Also there's a charger for EVs but not told it's on an overnight rate situation which meant it kept switching off and we couldn't get enough charge to use car the next day. Very frustrating as if we'd known this in advance we wouldn't have relied on it. Air conditioning not working properly so it kept switching off aswell. A little better information about stuff would have managed expectations, but having said that, the hosts were really communicative and tried to deal with issues immediately. Came over to see how they could help with air con etc and brought fresh towels, so thank you. Beautiful views and we loved watching the sheep antics in the field. Covered hot tub was perfect for the rainy days. Loads of space and beautifully decorated and furnished.

• Lewis (9/5): Great stay - The house was a perfect location to our nearby family. Safe and secure with great facilities The house was done out lovely and hosts were very helpful. They had a large dog walking around the premises whilst I understand it is also their home it can be quite intimidating when you dont expect it. Espeically with 3 young children.

• MJC (8/5): We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed Martyn's and Daniela's company and will visit agagain - Daniela and Martyn were absolutely superb, warm and friendly hosts. The Stables was modern, clean with a spectacular view of the countryside and easy access to local pubs and restaurants in Bonvilston! We loved the easy access to public transport however, a bit more sound proofing is needed for guests who sleep lightly.

Everything was just right from first day to last. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful and welcoming, and the location made it easy to get around. There was plenty to do around there but due to our short stay didn’t manage it all. It was evident that care is taken in how the place is maintained everything felt well looked after. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’d definitely come back and would recommend it without hesitation.

They were on hand to make sure everything was perfect! We can’t wait to come back again.

• Sarah (5/5): Disappointing - Property in an ideal location with beautiful land surrounding. The property itself visually was designed and decorated beautifully - facilities were great. The male owner was friendly/lovely and chatted to us whilst we were socialising outside. Surface clean only. The twin room was not clean at all, besides the bedside cabinets were dust, lashes and hair ties which hadn’t been cleaned. This was the same in areas of the living room. A deep clean needed rather than a surface clean. Hot tub was clean with scent of chlorine upon arrival. However, the chlorine levels were not checked over the period of our stay (Friday to Sunday) The water also had to be topped up by ourselves. We messaged the owner to check whether this was okay, and to also check whether they would do this themselves along with the chlorine checks but we had no reply. First evening as a group we went out and collected a takeaway, upon return two members of our party could not access the property as a vehicle belonging to the owners/owners guests was blocking the gates to access the property. Our party were outside the gates for a while calling the bell but no answer. One of them had to find, by foot, another way to enter the property to knock the owners door. Confronted in a rude manner when politely asked to please move the vehicle so we could enter the property. Unfortunately, despite the above and although enjoying our stay. We have since all come out in a rash/spots. We have since contacted the property to make them aware - in which their response was that it’s likely to be sunburn or shaving rash - when responding to the owners stating that this isn’t the case, they have stopped replying. 5 of us have been poorly - in which the pharmacy have stated that it could potentially be flea bites or from the cleanliness of the hot tub. This needs to be followed up. They refuse to compensate us, paying nearly £1000 for the stay to be poorly. That’s fine, but I/we hope no other visitor becomes poorly form the stay! Please beware. Hopefully whatever the issue is here that it’s dealt with and no further guests leave with skin issues such as all 5 of us. I can assure you, I have never raised a complaint and never left a negative...

We had a fantastic time at the Deerview Stables. There were some treats left for us which we really enjoyed. We got the pleasure of meeting the lovely owner and famous Duke. • Hajat (10/5): Absolutely stunning apartment with beautiful view and hot tub. - The apartment is absolutely beautiful with aesthetic decor throughout, from the books and art work dotted around to the stunning lamp shades. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to couples and families. The host was incredible. On arrival, we were left a picnic hamper full of delicious treats. The apartment was clean and comfortable. They also had information leaflets about wales, tourist attractions and some games! The hot tub was clean and warm on arrival. We enjoyed our private escape and hope to visit again.

• Lloyd (10/5): Wonderful stay at Deerview - We've just returned from a wonderful night's stay at Deerview and we can't wait to return. Martyn met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful property and made sure we were settled in. The house is immaculate, finished to a really high standard and so peaceful. We didn't want to leave. All rooms are beautifully decorated, beds were really comfortable. Views from the hot tub are stunning and the location is really close to a local pub. Daniela and Martyn are wonderful hosts and were so quick to respond to my queries before we arrived and during our stay. We'll definitely be back in the near future.
