Guest Reviews
Esperamos volver a verla! La instalaciones muy limpias y vintage! Tienen mucho encanto!

- Darja (9/5): - Rooms were really nice, big and clean. The owner is also very friendly. We were staying in Casa Sabai between weekend days, so there was no problem with parking on the street. The location is quiet. /

- Roberto (8/5): - Ubicación Sin cocinilla. Camas separadas.

Colazione a casa all'aperto, top.

- Raquel García-Ortiz Clemente (10/5): Hotel encantador.

- Yujie (10/5): - Great location! Very close to old town and everything, the rooftop terrace has amazing views. Pino was so nice and lovely. Too bad I couldn’t stay longer ;( Nothing
- Emma (10/5): - It was a unique property situated in the old town of Las Palmas. A far cry away from other soulless large hotels on the island.
It was full of character, comfortable, clean, and the staff were lovely.
The roof terrace was a delight to unwind after a stressful day.
Good clear instructions on how to enter the property. The owner was quick to reply to messages. Nothing

- Douglas (9/5): Had a nice stay, would come again. - Decent location near the cathedral. Helpful host. Excellent roof terrace for chilling out. Nice included breakfast. Modern comfortable room with some basic self catering facilities. Very good shower in clean modern bathroom No aircon in room.
- Sandra (10/5): -
- Esther (10/5): Como en casa. - Lo mejor sin duda, Pino y Liliana. Que te reciban así, no tiene precio. El desayuno muy rico. La habitación limpia y cómoda. La ubicación muy buena. Cerca de terminal de guaguas. Sitio tranquilo… En fin, todo muy positivo. Todo me gustó.
- Eleanor (7/5): enjoyable short stay convenient to explore old town, cathedral and museums. - fabulous and very warm welcome, to what is a quirky place, but very convenient for exploring the old town, which was our aim. Breakfast freshly cooked to order in what is effectively also a small cafe next door was superb and in friendly and comfortable environment. We had the best and largest room/suite with interesting city view and nice outside space to sit in, and next door top floor room was very good although to the front of the hotel and we gathered from another guest that traffic noise caused a problem for him. We liked supply of fresh milk on request for cuppas etc. There is a roof terrace where I think tapas is sometimes served on summer evenings?
- Young (9/5): Casa Sabai more than lived up to expectations! - The location of the hotel was ideal in terms of what I wanted to see in the oldest part of the city and the comfort and convenience of the apartment made my stay all the more worthwhile. Breakfasts were all freshly prepared and certainly filling. I did not like the noise emanating from the street despite having a wonderful room in the hotel to begin with but a change to one of the apartments was clearly the answer.
- Gwyneth (9/5): Staff nice and friendly, location great and good room - Location and room The breakfast was a little basic, the sun terrace could be freshened up - although I would stay here again
- Julie (10/5): It ticked all the boxes for me ! I was happy. - The buffet breakfast was simple but fresh and lovely. I being veggie had fruit ...toast ...goats cheese and sliced tomatoes accompanied by 2 fried eggs....made freshly for me by the friendly owner No... it was all good
- Tobias (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (10/5): Interesting,joyous & relaxing! - Received a warm & friendly arrival!
Great location!
Fabulous room,roof terrace,spectacular view!
Delicious breakfast!
Native Canarian! Nothing to comment, everything was perfect!
- Antonio (10/5): A very good place with exceptional staff and an ideal location. Highly recommended! - Outstanding support from the staff, great location, and beautiful design. They even prepared a breakfast box for us since we had to leave early — a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Overall, a great experience. There was nothing I can say I truly disliked, but I personally appreciate a mattress that's above average. A high-quality mattress really makes a difference when it comes to sleep. In this case, it was just okay—comfortable enough, but not exceptional.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Willem (9/5): Superb - Nice and updated interior nearby the highlights of Las Palmas
Very good breakfast for good price
- Attila (4/5): Overpriced and disappointing—definitely not worth the money. - I liked the bed and the pillows; they were very comfortable. But that's about all I liked. The staff barely spoke English, which made communication difficult. There was no view from our room; we were just staring at a wall. No privacy either—people constantly walked by our window. Breakfast was nothing special, especially if you're vegetarian like me.
Honestly, I chose this place over another with a similar price because of all the positive reviews, but I was extremely disappointed. It did not meet my expectations at all. Having visited this island before, I can confidently say this was my worst experience so far.
For half the price, it might have been acceptable. But at what we paid, this place is simply not worth it.
- Janet (8/5): Very good - Beautiful restoration. Lovely decor. Staff very friendly and helpful Nothing
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - This is a really stylish little hotel in a good location within the city's old town. Lots of excellent restaurants and attractions nearby. We loved the decor and in particular the super friendly staff who were so welcoming.
- Nora (10/5): Exceptional - great location
wonderful breakfast
friendly, helpful staff nothing
- Sergey (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (10/5): Excellent Stay - Friendly and welcoming hosts, allowed to check in early, great rooftop terrace, short walk to old town centre. Hosts organised taxi back to airport. Very smooth check in and check out. Excellent breakfast. None.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Merkowsky (6/5): Pleasant -
- Csaba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leah (8/5): Unexpected look but very kind staff - The staff was extremely helpful. Multilingual, responsive, and kind. The bathroom was large and well equipped, and the terrace on the room was really cute. The rooms' decor was very nationalistic, with huge flags dominating each room. There wasn't a lot of coffee (just one pod)..
- Magda (4/5): Disappointing stay - Location is super central The rooms look nice in the photos but in reality rooms are dark, not very clean, and cold
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Janie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (9/5): A perfect location at a reasonable cost near the centre of Las Palmas - Traditional building tastefully furnished, quiet although near the centre of the city. Welcoming staff especially Lydia and Pina, both lovely ladies who looked after us so well despite the language difficulties. Great breakfast, very comfortable overall
- Swati (9/5): Superb - central location with beautiful views over the cityscape. Clean and modern rooms and friendly hosts. We had the King suite with balcony which had a lovely balcony view. Kitchenette had everything you would need in a very compact space. Thank you for a lovely stay.
- Meredith (9/5): Superb - Great location for walking. Spacious room full of character. Delicious breakfast . Would enthusiastically stay again!
- Alīna (9/5): Good value with a perfect location in the heart of the town - All in general was good and this was a value for this price definitely. The apartment looked renovated and decorated stylishly, was all neccesaary on a kitchennete and location was super good and we could find easily a place to park our rented car safely and just by the apartment, what was important for us. Was good to sleep, not noisy and fresh enough. There was also a cozy terrase on the top in our disposal. The location is just 5 minutes of walk from the main cathedral and 10 minutes of walk from the food store or touristic street, which makes this place super cool for the short stay on the North like we did. Thanks! The breakfast was ok in general, good coffee and eggs offerred on choice, but we lack a toaster or any other machine to have a warm bread for the breakfast.
- Viv (10/5): Great , authentic accommodation. Far from the madding crowd but close to what you need . - Quiet area You do not feel like you are in a tourist trap
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for the old town. Staff so friendly, nice breakfast, thoroughly recommended.
- Veronica (5/5): Not ideal set up. - Location was good for historic part of town. Interesting building and decoration. Staff were all very nice and friendly. We didn't like that the toilet, shower room and wardrobe etc was not in our bedroom. We had to go outside and over small terrace for these, not ideal when it was raining and cold, particularly in the middle of the night. Bedroom was very small but the renovation made it interesting. We asked if we could change room but unfortunately hotel was full. Perhaps it should be made clear that this is the set up with this room, though I know I wouldn't have booked it if I had known.
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Viguier (10/5): Great place and great location. - Great breakfast! A little noisy from other guests at night.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic place to stay .well location was excellent and the building has been excellent refurbished. Would definitely return to this place . Breakfast was brilliant 👏 Nothing
- Enrico (10/5): Absolutely beautiful🥰 - Wonderful little hotel with unbelievable room/apartments!
The staff is very professional, Christian was waiting for our arrival, he helped me to find a parking for our car, then, he helped with the luggage into the room/apartment, and suggested a lovely local restaurant to he be dinner.
The breakfast in the morning was served in the adjacent cafeteria and it was like home from home!!! All brilliant!! We will be back!!
Enrico & Diane. There is nothing to improve in this lovely establishment.
- Andrea (7/5): Good - Great location, close to la vegueta
- Marcela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (10/5): Great place to explore the historic senter off Las Palmas. - Very original places right in the historic town off Las Palmas. Great welcoming staff and owner. They make you feel very welcome. The beach is a bit a long way.
- Paul (8/5): Lovely friendly people running a very good property in the old quarter of Las Palmas - Very nice and unusual property with a lovely roof terrace. 5 minute walk from the old town.
