• See Xian (10/5): Best stay ever! - This was hands down the best stay ever. The Sound is incredible! Spacious, sparkling clean and equipped with excellent facilities. It truly felt like staying in a dream house. The owner, Krista is very lovely and helpful! The breakfast was excellent. Choices of breads with butter & jams / cereals, milk, coffee, tea, chocolate, and noodles. This is also a very quiet and beautiful place, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The view at the balcony is stunning too! Everything is just Perfect! No. Everything is just perfect!
• Ching wen (10/5): - Convenient location but was extremely quite at night! A roadhouse was just 3 mins drive from the accommodation, and it's an ideal location to explore around Tasman peninsula. At night all we could hear was the sound of the waves, and the verenda was a beautiful spot to see the sunset! The host welcomed us with a basket of snacks and also prepared breakfast for us! The property had a well-equipped kitchenette which is ideal for people who plan to cook during their stay.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Sehr bequemes Bett und absolut ruhige Wohnlage. Hier hätten wir gut ein paar Tage geniessen können. Kein Restaurant in der Umgebung. Tankstellenshop ca 1 km entfernt. Tip: alles vorher einkaufen was man für den Aufenthalt braucht.

• David (10/5): Heaven on earth - This was the most outstanding property.....from Krista the owner, to the apartment itself. Every possible wish was thought of and catered for.... such greta thought and care has gone into this home away from home. Unfortunately my plans had me out all day form early morning to late into the evening.... and my greatest regret was not being able to spend more time in the beautiful accommodation. Nothing ...everything was beyond my wildest hopes.

Das Apartment fühlte sich an wie ein Zuhause und nicht wie eine Ferienunterkunft. So liebe- und geschmackvoll ausgestattet mit allem, was benötigt wird. Die Frühstückszutaten waren reichhaltig und die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf die Bucht grandios. Hier sollte man definitiv länger bleiben als nur einen Tag! Es gab gar nichts zu bemängeln, wirklich nichts!

Hosts were super friendly and gave us a welcome basket of snacks, other snacks and cereals were inside the property for us. Would definitely stay here again and perfect spot for couples 🙂

• Wojciech (10/5): We stayed one night but wished we had planed to stay much longer! - It was fully furnished in home like style. Very tastefully and interestingly decorated. The owner thought of every detail to make the guest feel at home during vacation from both the style and practicality. We loved that it had a coffee maker and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. The 3-d map on the wall was a big hit for us! The chairs to watch TV were super comfortable as was the bed. There were blankets and pillows in the living room. Kitchen had everything needed and more like pot with boiled water. Great idea! They have very tasty tap water there. I would highly recommend The Sounds and hope to return myself. The view is spectacular! We truly couldn’t think of anything else.

• Bruno (10/5): amazing, high standard and very comfortable - warm welcome by host with cold drink and snack, very tide and well appointed unit with lots of attention to detail... from Band-Aids and all toiletries to infra-red heating in bathroom, from umbrella (not that we had to use it!) to current magazines on the coffee table, from lollies and little chocolates to extensive breakfast supplies, from outdoor gas grill to large fridge/freezer (not tiny bar fridge!) and well appointed kitchen (no stove top but good electric frying pan), from extensive deck with amazing views with sunset to ample parking..... we are retired and travel a lot and this is certainly one of the best units we have seen so far

• Andrew (10/5): Wonderful - This was our favourite property out of 3 weeks' travelling Tasmania. Excellent base for a Port Arthur trip and Cape Raoul hike. Spotlessly clean, very new and modern, great bathroom, and all extremely quiet day and night. Huge and relaxing views of the bay from inside and from the large balcony (BBQ - also really clean). Stocked with breads and raisin bread, 4 kinds of spreads, about 6 kinds of cereal, 1L fresh milk (not the 250mL UHT stuff), large orange juice, and jars of wrapped lollies. Comfortable couch, recliners and bed. All just amazing. Woops - forgot to mention the banana bread. Perfect for morning tea! Definitely should have stayed 3 nights. You need 1 for Port Arthur, 1 for the massive Cape Raoul walk and another for the other sites

You have plenty of things to do in the flat, like drawing mandalas, a selection of games, a puzzle, books or Netflix. So even if you stay by yourself it does not get boring. :) -

• Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Great views! Very quiet. It's the downstairs part of a house where the owners live upstairs - you have your own privacy. The very friendly, helpful owners greeted us just after we arrived. They gave us a welcome box with a few goodies like crisps and a packet of cheese & crackers - wow, so thoughtful!! 🥰 There was some mini chocolates, mini packs of skittles, milk, butter, beer, OJ, mini packs of weetbix, sachets of oats, a couple of slices of banana bread, and few slices of bread! OMG, talk about being looked after!! There isn't a cooktop (I must've accidentally overlooked that), but there is an excellent electric frypan so we could cook a warm breakfast. Although it's on rainwater, the water pressure was really good. The hot shower was great, and the size of the shower was excellent! It was the little things that made this stay the best one we've had! There were even a few little vases of colour 🥰 Nothing

A lot of personal care and attention has been put. Great size. Lovely out door area and finally the overnight package personally delivered by Krista was really appreciated. Great spot to stay and visit Port Arther from. Nothing.
