• nasreen (10/5): Magical - I cannot recommend this place enough. Jack and Hafsa provided a level of service comparable to some of the best hotels I have stayed at around the world, and as a frequent traveler, I can confidently say this has been one of my best travel experiences ever. Hafsa in particular was incredibly attentive throughout the entire stay, constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for from the moment I arrived. They also went above and beyond in helping arrange activities including a hammam, massage, market trip, horse riding, meals, and an unforgettable beach camping experience. Everything was fully organized by them from A to Z and felt more like luxury glamping. It was very comfortable, beautifully set up, and completely stress-free. Breakfast was included every day, and they also very graciously prepared additional meals for me upon request, which was incredibly convenient. The food was absolutely delicious and made the stay feel even more special and homey. Jack has designed the house beautifully with such tasteful attention to detail, and Hafsa’s artwork throughout the house adds the perfect touch of warmth and personality. I genuinely loved spending time there during my downtime. The space itself felt peaceful, inspiring, and very welcoming. Their hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail made this stay truly exceptional. I would absolutely return and highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting. Saying goodbye!

• Frank (9/5): Atlantikblick mit etwas „Castles Made of Sand“-Stimmung. - Wir haben drei Nächte im Tigmi Anis in Diabat bei Essaouira verbracht und hatten dort einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Uns war wichtig, nicht direkt in der Medina zu wohnen, sondern eine Unterkunft zu haben, die man mit dem Auto gut erreichen kann und bei der das Parken unkompliziert ist. Genau das war hier der Fall und für uns ein echter Vorteil. Die Buchung lief nach kurzem Austausch über WhatsApp unkompliziert ab. Bei unserer Ankunft war jemand da, der uns den Schlüssel übergeben hat, sodass auch der Check-in problemlos funktioniert hat. Für die erste Nacht hatten wir alles, was wir brauchten, Frühstück haben wir uns selbst organisiert. In der zweiten und dritten Nacht war Frühstück dabei. Das Haus selbst hat uns beeindruckt. Es ist das Zuhause eines Architekten und seiner Partnerin, die dort zwei Zimmer vermieten. Man merkt sofort, dass das Gebäude mit viel Gespür für Raum, Licht und Atmosphäre gestaltet wurde. Alles wirkt persönlich, entspannt und sehr angenehm. Terrasse und Pool konnten tagsüber mitgenutzt werden. Besonders schön war der weite Blick, vor allem über den Golfplatz, in Richtung Küste und Essaouira. Auch die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, offen und angenehm unkompliziert. Wer eine familiäre Unterkunft mit Charakter sucht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Straße am Haus ist zeitweise hörbar, daher ist es auf der Terrasse nicht immer ganz ruhig. Außerdem gibt es in der Umgebung einige freie Grundstücke, die leider als Müllablage genutzt werden und nicht gerade schön aussehen. Das betrifft aber eher das Umfeld als die Unterkunft selbst.

If you're looking for peace and quiet but also want to be close to the medina, this is perfect. You can combine it with horseback riding, as there are many stables in Diabat! The jacuzzi is also very nice, and the view of the sea is fantastic! Besides the wonderfull accommodation and location, Hafsa and Jacques hospitality is fantastic; they are incredibly kind people! My mother and I felt very much at home, and we will definitely be back! This has been our favorite accommodation during our travels through Morocco✨ Shukram Hafsa, Jacques & Mogador🐶
• Heidi (9/5): Excellent and to be recommended - It is a House with very appealing architecture and exceptional views to be enjoyed by at least two of the three rooms. The couple who own the house go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They also offer a Hammam, beauty and massage treatments, have a pool table and organize Karaoke in their house if you like. Definitely a recommendation. Dogs sometimes barked outside during the night.

• Dominique (10/5): au-delà de mes espérances - Aucun resto d'Essaouira n'a le niveau de ce que Hafsa prépare, et je ne parle pas de la gentillesse et de l'efficacité à résoudre toutes sortes de petits problêmes (lunettes cassées,etc...). L' architecture (jardins,terasses,vrai spa), le mobilier et la décoration et le calme de cette maison me manque déjà.

The villa is beautiful — a perfect mix of Moroccan tradition and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, our hosts made us feel completely at home, like we were old friends. The house is full of charm and lovely details, and our room was spacious and cozy. The lady of the house is such a warm and beautiful person — she welcomed us with tea, local snacks, and music that created the perfect vibe. Her massage was incredible… she truly has golden hands! They gave us the best tips for what to see and do in Essaouira, and every recommendation was perfect. We left with full hearts, new friends, and unforgettable memories. Couldn’t recommend it more — a real Moroccan gem! 💛 Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like — everything was perfect!

Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux Logement situé à proximité des rando équestres et en quad, à 5mn d'Essaouira. La plage est à 10mn à pieds, possibilité de se promener dans les dunes qui sont presque au pied du Riad, et pour les mateurs de golf, il est juste à côté !!! La chambre était spacieuse et bien agencée. Nous sommes restés 3 jours, nous avons eu le loisir d'échanger avec nos hôtes, fort sympathiques !!

• CaxieDOTL (10/5): Amazing stay - Beautiful place - it was nearing the end of our trip and we wanted a quiet place to stay at and enjoy a few activities. Wifi was strong as I had to start doing some work which was great! We stayed for four nights and everything was just perfect. We went horse riding twice and rode on a quad bike which was just less than 5 minutes walk from the house. We also had dinner in our last night and it was just a perfect end to our stay. The jacuzzi was amazing and we had private access to it, we used it in our last night and it was just very relaxing. Definitely going to stay here again as it was very accessible to central and Jacques and Hafsa were the best hosts!

The room above is comfortable and quit. I loved the sunset and the view. The breakfast was also very completed and delicious. Thanks again Hafsa! I would suggest to use something against the fly bugs. There were lots of bugs in the room which I had to sleep with. A deeper cleaning would be welcome as well to be totally honest. I would think of the jacuzzi, the chairs to lay on, floor in the room and a few spots in the room as well. I understood that they did not have a guest since a while but that's the only thing which disturbed me.
