U-Bahn muss man mindestens 20 Minuten laufen.

- Gergo (10/5): - It was very clean and very nicely decorated. The owner didn’t make me breakfast a couple of times which was very nice.
- Toon Shane (8/5): Great and affordable place in central Kyoto. Nice atmosphere and interior design! - It was quite close to the nearest train station. A little of a walk but not too far. I really loved the interior design and atmosphere. There was a nice and lovely wooden aroma and scents all around that made the place feel really homely. Each individual capsule was quite spacious. There was a small common/entertainment room that also had a bar which was nice. The small safe inside each capsule was a nice addition for security. Lots of helpful guides and an interesting set of books for guests to read if people are interested in Japanese culture and local areas. If I was staying longer I would have read some of them. A great combination with their common room. Given that the place is in central Kyoto, it was a bit expensive for a capsule, but it is to be expected. The price is still reasonable and I would probably still stay here again. However there was additional fees (400 yen) that was to be paid on top of the total price on Booking.com. Towels and other small amenities also had a small fee. The walls between each capsule seems to be quiet thin and if you are on the top bunk, then there might be small gaps where noise can pass through. Not as soundproof as some other capsule hotels but still good depending on the crowd of people staying there with you.

- Yoshiki (10/5): - It's 20min far from Kyoto station on foot. It's quite near although it's really reasonable. They have 6 toilets and 3 shower rooms which are totally clean. Bed rooms as well. Mattresses are not compromised. The neighbourhood is quiet. The receptionist's guide is too simple maybe.
- Karol (6/5): Okay - Clean, amazing location 15 min walk from Kyoto station, quiet. Even at this price range, super bare minimum. It was my first stay in a hostel in Japan, so I didn’t do extensive research, but after traveling for a while I can say that at this price you can get a much better standard.
The room was very tight and the capsules have very poor ventilation, so the cabins get hot and it’s hard to breathe. The lighting is poor and the capsule is very narrow, so I was not able to really relax at any point.
There’s no lockers, so it’s not really possible to manage your luggage - has to be either on the public space or inside the capsule.
Basic amenities, all of them charged extra.
Good for a single overnight stay on the road, but anything more than that is going to be taxing.

- yu chay anastasia (10/5): - The house or building is beautiful build and furnished. The bed's side panels could be finished or polished to complement the aesthetic of the structure.
- Nicolo Dimitri (10/5): Toller Ort - Super freundlich
Platz für mein Fahrad ohne Probleme -
- Koyrun Nahar (8/5): - My cubicle in the dorm was large and spacious. The room it self was beautifully decorated. The staff were really nice. The hostel was clean and nice. There is a cafe attached to the hostel but menu is limited The windows need better curtains as they let through light.
Breakfast options need to be wider
Bath towels are too small
Dorm people need to be clearly told not to pack luggage IN the dorm after a certain time

- Rik (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (9/5): Comfortable, very homely atmosphere - Everything is so clean, the staff are lovely and they have a restaurant which was handy and also pretty tasty. Nothing really, could maybe promote activities for travellers to do and get to know each other
- Scott (9/5): Great hostel in a lovely quiet neighborhood. - The hostel is in a great location, right near the river in a quiet area, but a short walk to the busy touristy neighborhoods and to some of Kyoto's biggest sights like Fushimi Inari. The employees here were incredibly friendly and helpful, they made us feel right at home. There's a nice bar and restaurant on the ground floor and we got discounts on drinks because we were hostel guests. The ventilation in the dorm room is not great. The room was warm and the lack of airflow made the pod beds very hot at night. If there were a few more fans or some better air conditioning it would have been much more comfortable.
- Reece (8/5): Very good -
- Alexis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (3/5): Poor - There is not even a place to sit. The staff are really nice but you can't feel welcome in the room. People are sleeping untill 11am and going to bed at 8pm so you can't ever make a sound without disturbing.laube it was just the time I was there but it wasa bit if a weird one m you can describe it as a bit bedroom and a big bathroom and that's it.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and well maintained facilities. Indoor heating was ideal for winter. Staff were pleasant and helpful with booking a cab/borrowing a local phone when I needed it. Amazing value for money and close to Shichijo station. The banh mi and mochi shops around the corner are also super recommended! The transition between the bathrooms and bedrooms gets a bit awkward to run to and fro from. While there's a bathtub listed, it takes far too long to actually fill it and the water isn't hot enough for a soak that you're better off walking to the sentos nearby if you want a bath.
I think a small stool at the shoe rack would have been great especially when wearing boots. If the restaurant is closed after 10pm, there's also not really anywhere to eat or loiter. But given the price point, it's still great value.

- Rachel (8/5): Perfect for those who aren’t after much. Maybe better for people who don’t mind noises and thin beds. Personally I didn’ - Liked the closeness to Kyoto station. Top bed better than bottom bed. Not really air conditioned in rooms.
- Paulino (10/5): Loved it here! - Very clean facility. The staff was very nice and polite! Very happy we stayed here! It's a 10-15 minute walk from the closest metro station. Not even a negative thing, really, but something to be aware of!
