• Zoe (8/5): - Beautiful location only meters to the beach. Well-maintained property and nice residents. Sea view from the terrace! I also lucked out with the sea view from my room. Comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Super nice and helpful manager.

Estava perto da praia e de supermercado! Não precisei usar o carro. A falta de cuidado de certos hóspedes a bater com as portas durante a noite! Mas isso tem a haver os hospedes! Nada a apontar com o dono da casa!

• Ania (10/5): Very good stay - This property has very good location - the beach and surboard rental is very close to - and within walkable distance to basic grocery store The street viewing rooms need to have windows closed at night due to traffic.

• Francisco (8/5): Pleasant stay at the best spot in Baleal - The location is fantastic, it´s quiet and a 2-minute walk from the beach. The place was really clean and there is someone cleaning the common areas daily. The communication with the owner, Bruno, and how easy the check-in process was. You can hear everything on the house (thin walls) but the other hosts were very respectful and we had a good time all in all. There´s an outdoor shower, a barbequeue (which we didn´t use) and a surf rack on the terrace in the back. Our room had literally nothing where we could hang our clothes (closet, wall hooks, nothing..), it only had a drawer which makes it difficult to store your clothes during your stay. If you surf, there´s nowhere inside the house where you could hang and dry your wetsuits over night. As a side note for guests that like coffee in the mornings: the coffee maker in the kitchen uses coffee pods. It´s the first placei stay in portugal where the kitchen doesn´t have a moka coffee maker. There´s a supermarket just around the corner where you can buy coffee pods.

The place sometimes smelled, likely due to some guests smoking inside.

• Tegan (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The space is ideal for surfers, with surf storage, an outdoor shower and a view of the sunset for bbq’s with friends, lots of different cultures and great people, walking distance from the beach and a small supermarket nearby. The staff were exceptional at keeping the place clean and went above and beyond. Thank you surf emotions, I will definitely come back again!

• Martin (7/5): Good - Walking distance to the beach, shop, restaurants. Good place for surfers (rental, schools etc.). Large garden / terasse with gril. Nice golf courses nearby. Parking was available in front of house. A bit used furniture, two shared bathrooms and a kitchen for ca. 5 rooms. This was mentioned in the conditions, I overlooked that, my mistake. But just not to be surprised. We were lucky, that we had the house almost for ourselves. Sufficient, definitely for groups of younger surfers etc.

• Aleksandra (5/5): the house and the facilities are very old but the location is amazing, very close to the beach - great location, welcoming receptionist everything was really old, to the point that it was very inconvenient to use the facilities (door handles were falling off, the bathrooms and the kitchen were very old and not very clean). The house is very noisy, there is no isolation neither from the street nor inside the house

• Oakley (8/5): Had a lovely time :) - Christina is a lovely hostess and the hostel was always impeccably clean. She was very helpful and helped us book a taxi back to the bus station. The beds were very comfortable and in a very quiet location, relatively close to the beach. Had a lovely time. It was quite expensive for what you get, I have stayed in cheaper places that offer more modern facilities, however being August it was understandable. Some of the facilities were a bit outdated. The shower upstairs is a bit weak and is in a bathtub, but it does the job. Also the oven in the kitchen should be replaced, it's very old and a bit dangerous.

• Bara (8/5): Very good - The accomodation is basically few steps from the beach, you can see the ocean from the back yard. There is a grocery store right across the street. There are 2 bathrooms and big enough fridge for everyone to find their space. Room facing towards the street can be a bit noisy due to the cars. However, fine with closed window.

• Losik (10/5): I rest and have a lot of fun there - Really amazing place, near the beach, quiet area, you can rent fantastic bicycle and it gave you a lot of freedom to explore the area. nice restaurants in the area! I like everything about this place!

• Ferdinand (6/5): Ok considering the low price. - Location close to beach, low price. Bedrooms facing street are quite noisy due to cars speeding past late at night / early in the morning. Facilities are rather dated. Host response time needs to improve (e.g. when there was no hot water, I had to write / call multiple times for the hosts to fix the issue).
• Elena (10/5): Exceptional - Homely, cozy house steps away from the beach. There is a little supermarket and some restaurants and a club nearby, all very convenient. Only one outlet and no big table or place to hang things in the bedroom
