Kasey (6/5): Decent apartment, but dirty and host didn't fix issues - Big apartment, comfy bed and nice amenities. Kitchen was a little small but it had everything you need for a short stay. Location not to bad, a little far away from the tourist spots but easy to access with trainline and bus a short walk away. Close to a big supermarket Apartment was really dirty, had only been surfaced cleaned (bed sheets changed etc.) there was hair in all the drainpipes and dust/dirt on fridge, bedhead, side of bed, inside of fridge was a little dirty. Right on the trainline so trying to sleep at night was a little hard with the noise from passing trains. Our toilet leaked the first night, and was blocked from the 2nd night, asked the host to fix it for us and nothing was done about it. So we had no toilet the entire stay.

Peter (3/5): Stolen front door key - Location was okay with a metro line 15 minutes walk away. They said they could accommodate for 5 people and then proceeded to provide one yoga mat for a 5th person. On the final night, the key to the building was stolen/missing. This meant we could not enter the building and get into our room. This felt unsafe and was a huge issue considering we were flying home the next day.
Martin Lawrence (8/5): Great budget option near Tenjimbashi in northern Osaka - This was an appropriately priced budget lodging option for our 2 week stay in Osaka. We wanted the option to close the door instead of an open studio which was a big reason for our decision to stay at MAT Osaka. We found the space to be just big enough big for two people and well equipped with appropriate materials to make a full meal. We liked the location close to the Tenjimbashi covered market and the subway was about a 10 minute walk. We also loved being close to the river for running As other reviews have noted, the train noise is real since you’re right above the tracks and this woke us up a few times during the first few nights but we did eventually get used to the noise and slept through it (disclaimer we are night owls and usually go to bed past midnight). If you are a light sleeper, I’d consider other options The instructions to get inside the property were clear and we liked the fact that we didn’t need to carry a key with us. That being said, we did have two separate instances where we couldn’t access the lockbox because it was stuck and another where the key was missing once the lockbox was stuck. Luckily these issues were resolved quickly and the staff was available to help us immediately. There is also a backup key but we didn’t have to use it We also wish there was a table and chairs in addition to the couch

Letto comodo. Connessione internet un po' lenta (80Mbps DL/ 5Mbps UL) che per me è stata un problema in quanto dovevo inviare le foto al mio PC a casa. Ho risolto con un internet cafè.

Jason (9/5): Good apartment - Comfortable beds and I was able to cook some of my own food. Has a nice drying rack for after washing clothes. The manager communicated a lot through booking.com Located near the Hankyu train station, draw back is you can hear the trains when they start in the morning but it wasn't bad. Stores, restaurants nearby. It would have been nice to have a frying pan instead of just 2 pots, but minor inconvenience. It would have been nice to have a cutting board that fit the size of the knife, but again a minor thing. People complained about the bathroom fan, but if you close the doors it isn't as easy to hear it.

Shuko (7/5): 安さで全ての不便を我慢できる方なら - とにかく安い。ロケーションも大阪駅や天満駅までのバス停が近く、大変便利でした。 24時間で700円の駐車場も近くにありました。設備は洗濯機、ハンガー、炊飯器があり助かりました。他の方の口コミにもありましたが、汚いことは覚悟して訪れた方がよいと思います。掃除しようと思いカーペットをコロコロしたら、とんでもない量の髪の毛がつき、気絶しそうになりました。入った瞬間からおじさん臭がして、ずっと窓を開けていても取れることはありませんでした。寝具からもおじさん臭がします。食器類やキッチン用品ありますが、汚さがあるのでお皿のみ使い、箸コップなど口をつけるものは買いました。またハンドソープ、お風呂の洗剤、お風呂のスポンジはないので買い足し、調味料も買いました。一階のオートロックのキーボックスはほぼ調子が悪く開きません。他の方はオートロックの鍵を持っている方もいましたが、うちはなかったのでなんとか一階のドアから出入りしました。このような点を覚悟しても安さを取る方にはおすすめです。

Opastaja puhelimen päässä jossain muussa maassa, joka ei voinut lähettää apua paikan päälle ovikoodarin boxin aukaisuun.

Sofia (4/5): - El apartamento está bien de tamaño para 2/3 personas, está limpio para lo básico pero no ha sido limpiado a hondo hace tiempo (pueblo en los sitios que no se tocan, incluso una botella plástica bajo el sofá). La ubicación también está bien, a unas paradas de metro del centro, el tren pasa muy cerca pero no lo escuchamos en la habitación con la ventana cerrada. El primer día estuvimos literalmente una hora intentando entrar en el apartamento porque na caja de la llave no funcionaba, no hay nadie disponible para ayudar en el edificio y no contestan las llamadas al supuesto número de ayúda. Finalmente me han contestado por mensaje en Booking pero me han hecho explicar lo que estaba pasando varias veces antes de pedir a un chico joven que viniera a traer una llave (el pobre no había hablado conmigo por Booking ni tenía mucha idea de lo que paso antes). Por este precio hay hoteles centrales que no suponen estos problemas así que a menos que quieran cocinar mucho no recomendaría este alojamiento en comparación a un hotel simples.

Francisco (9/5): Óptimo - Boa localização. Apartamento cómodo. WC super funcional e cama confortável. Fica perto da estação de comboio e tem uma shopping street perto do alojamento. Bastante comércio na área, com muitas opções. Local calmo e sossegado. O unico ponto negativo é que podia estar um pouco mais limpo. Tinha imenso pó debaixo da cama. O Wi-fi apesar de funcionar era lento.

I saw two other sets of guests struggling with it too. I think the instructions need updating, I suggested this to the management and they just said if the problem persists try the same method. Also after staying they asked me to give them a rating of 10 which I thought was cheeky. Clearly the cleaning and house keeping staff do a great job. But the managements attitude could use improvement
