Camere spazionse, cucina corredata e bagno finestrato con lavatrice, aria condizionata in tutte le stanze!!!Silenzioso durante la notte! Il prioritario ci ha fatto trovate una bottiglia di vino con calici come benvenuto!!!Congratulazioni Carmelo!!! Ti aspettiamo a Verona!!! L'aria condizionata puntata sul letto ma abbiamo potuto spostare il letto perché la camera era enorme...problema superato in fretta!!! Ci siamo così goduti l'appartamento che abbiamo dimenticato di fare le foto... comunque corrisponde alle descrizioni!

• Tim Crozier (8/5): Overall a pleasant old world experience. - Well appointed apartment with old world character. Very spacious (2 br). Functional kitchen and bathroom. Complementary Netflix access a bonus. Excellent location close to centre beaches shop cafes and restaurants. Carmelo the host was very welcoming and helpful. The floors were quite dirty. Mentioned to our host and he was going to take action with the cleaners.

• javier (10/5): El mejor apartamento para alojarse en Ortigia - No tengo suficientes palabras para describir mi agradecimiento a Carmelo y su apartamento. La ubicación es simplemente perfecta al lado de restaurantes, parkings, tiendas de todo tipo, el mercado, …. completamente equipado, amplio, limpio, camas cómodas, muy fresquito para ir en verano, etc etc. Y que decir del anfitrión Carmelo, atento desde antes de la llegada y durante la estancia siempre pendiente de nuestro bienestar, pero nunca molestando. Nos facilitó el permiso para entrar con el coche en la zona restringida al trafico, además de darnos información de todo tipo. Da gusto encontrar gente así. Volveré a Ortigia, y por supuesto me alojaré de nuevo en casa de Carmelo. Muchas gracias por todo, y te deseo lo mejor. Me gustó todo.

Carmelo a été efficace et prévenant, même bien avant notre arrivée. C'était très agréable d'être en contact avec lui. L'appartement a l'avantage d'être extrêmement bien situé dans la presqu'île d'Ortigia. Idéal pour visiter ce centre historique de Syracuse. Tout s'est donc passé pour le mieux.

• Pilar (9/5): Centrico apartamento en el corazón de Ortigia - Apartamento muy bien situado en Ortigia, muy céntrico cerca de restaurantes y bastante cómodo. Perfecto para una familia o grupo de amigos. Carmelo, el anfitrión, es un encanto y nos ayudó muchísimo con todo, incluido con las gestiones del coche, ya que está en una zona de tráfico restringido. El AA de las habitaciones hay que ponerlo por turnos, porque con todos a la vez se puede ir la luz. Pero teniendo eso en cuenta, el AA funcionaba muy bien,

• Brenda (10/5): A lovely space to relax in an excellent location. - Carmelo was very attentive and checked in with me regularly. He also offered me a late check out which was fantastic as it was too hot to be carrying a bag around. The apartment was roomy with high celings with a seperate kitchen and sitting room and has everything you might have in your own home. I enjoyed the guest Netflix account. I recommend Irma's Kitchen for breakfast (if you like oat milk coffee and fruity porridge). Also I discovered that Japanese restaurants are very good value for money. You will hear street noise now and again but overall it was a quiet and restful space.

• Carolin (10/5): Loved it! - Spacious flat with well-equipped kitchen in a central but quiet street. Comfy beds and sofa, good bathroom. Easy check-in, very helpful, responsive, warm and friendly host. There is no oven, just a stove and microwave oven with grill function, so eat your pizza in one of the restaurants and don't buy the frozen stuff!
• Daniela (4/5): Nice host but basic and cold apartment - The location in the middle of Artigia island, and the host who was very helpful and attentive. Nice welcome basket with wine water and cookies provided. The apartment is very far from the description and the photos and it certainly does not deserve a 10. It is old, run down and needs serious fixing up and adding of a few basic things before it can host people. Especially if it’s winter. The master bed was horrible, with a huge dent in the middle, causing you to slide into the middle. Old mattress. Empty bedroom and freezing cold, took hours to warm it and the others parts. Kitchen was freezing. The bathroom had no heater and was freezing to the point that our kids were fearing from taking a shower. Water not going down the drain properly in the shower. Kitchen very partially equipped. Curtains very old and barely holding in all of the apartment. Living room sofa dirty and old, needs replacement. Stinking cigarette smell in the entrance of the building at all hours of the day. Bottom line, the host was super nice and helpful but all of these things cannot be solved during our stay - the apartment needs a fix up to merit a 10.

• Diana (10/5): Best accommodation! - The apartment is very clean, has new furniture, 2 bedrooms with 2 extra large bedrooms , kitchen is separated from living and from my experience it is really one of the best accommodation. You can rent this apartment including for a long period of time because it has all the facilities (microwave, toaster, fridge, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, cutlery, wash machine, air conditioner, large roomy wardrobes, mirrors in bedroom, etc.) The owner is very kind, he knows English and will help you with absolutely any question related to the apartment, he offers you suggestions where to eat, what to visit. Also he left us a surprise: water, milk, biscuits, 2 bottles of wine. It is near to all the attractions, the area is quite, has restaurants and markets nearby. If you will stay in Siracusa/Ortygia Island and you want to feel like home, I recommend you to stay here.
• Philips (10/5): Exceptional - Central but very quiet location air conditioning in bedrooms and lounge well equipped kitchen. Very welcoming and accommodating host the water heater in the bathroom might be an issue for larger parties as it takes a while for the water to reheat. it was fine on our stay as it was just two of us.
