• Erjola (10/5): - Séjour exceptionnel avec mes parents dans ce petit hôtel dans la ville musée. Très bien accueillis. Hôtel situé à proximité des restaurants traditionnels et de la route principale. Une vue d'ensemble et majestueuse sur Gorica. Un restaurant sur place et également une terrasse pour profiter d'un petit déjeuner généreux.

• Constantin (10/5): - I recently stayed at Guva Mangalem Hotel in Berat, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to Albania. The hotel is located right in the heart of the historic Mangalem district, offering an authentic atmosphere and some of the best views in the entire city. The rooms are clean, cozy, and decorated in a traditional style that fits perfectly with the charm of Berat. Waking up to the panoramic view of the old town and the river was absolutely incredible. The rooftop terrace is a highlight — a perfect spot for morning coffee or a relaxing evening. The hosts are truly exceptional. Warm, friendly, and always ready to help, they make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that you don’t find everywhere. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh local products and traditional dishes. The hotel’s restaurant is also worth trying if you want to taste authentic Albanian food. One thing to keep in mind: the hotel is located on a hill, so you’ll need to walk up through the narrow stone streets — but the view at the top makes it completely worth it. Overall, Guva Mangalem is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Berat. Beautiful views, great location, amazing hosts, and a truly authentic experience.

• gradin (10/5): - A cozy little hotell. Worth ever step to get there. The terass is worth every penny in the world, u cant get a better view of berat! The hostess runs her business with heart and soul and puts a smile on your face.

I wandered up first thing in the morning and had a delightful view as the sun moved across the valley. Building full of character and curios. Climb up not so bad if you take the steps rather than the long slow road. Worth every step to have the views we had from our room and the terrace. Only stayed one night but loved every minute. Highly recommend. We chose to bring small backpacks from our car for the overnight so weren't dragging up luggage but might be a bit of a climb with lots of heavy bags. Climb =view in Berat though so anywhere with a great view you'll have a steep walk.

Authentic and aesthetic interior, nice breakfast, and a wonderful and attentive host. Would highly recommend 😊 The mattress could have been a bit more comfortable. It’s also quite a steep walk up to the property (but also totally worth that part for the views!)

Climb up to Guva mangalem is not too bad thought its the last hotel on top. The hotel is character-some, nice decorated and the views from the terrace is awesome of Berat. She even trekked up the hill with me when I managed to get my mini drone stuck in a tree on the hill beside the terrace. Highly recommend hotel Guva Mangalem.

• Marcus (10/5): Very beautiful historic hotel with an exceptionally nice hotel chef - we strongly recommend it! - It was a great pleasure for us to spend some nights in this very beautiful historic hotel. You can really feel with how much love the owners of the hotel have furnished and maintain their hotel. It's a must to spend some time there if you are in Berat! We can also recommend the restaurant - especially the restaurant terrace with the view over the valley! Brilliant!

Situated perfectly amongst restaurants (Lili, right next door, is an exceptional not to be missed dining experience) and above the main avenue. The hostess works around the clock to assure that guests get everything that they need. She deserves a medal Be aware that if you are walking up from the main avenue (there is no way to drive) especially with suitcases. the climb can be difficult

• Martin (9/5): Old Town in the palm of one's hand - The hotel is the highest spot hotel on the hill, so one has the old town in the palm of its hand. The hotel is very cozy, landlord nice and views fabulous. Parking of the car may be little bit tricky since the main road is full of parked cars. Also carrying all the big bags up to the hotel was quite bodybuilding.
