• Michelle (9/5): - Convenient location, walking distance from main train station. Unique building in a safe location. Clean and comfortable space! First time staying at a Airbnb so We are not use to having no “in person” reception with communication via text or email only. However, communication was quick and easy/smooth and Instructions were provided for our stay. We did arrive one night to find the outer door had been left open by someone else. Which made us feel a little uneasy entering late at night.

• Marina (3/5): - We chose this place based on previous good reviews. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed. Our room was very uncomfortable and outdated. It was quite chilly in the evenings. When we arrived, we found a stained bedspread and dirty throw pillows lying directly on the pillows we were supposed to sleep on. There was also a stained napkin on the kitchen table. I wrote to the contact person and asked them to remove everything. When we returned, the bedspread and pillows had been removed, the napkin had been replaced, but no one even apologized. The room has been in need of renovation for years. The walls are dirty, the outlets are broken. There is no place to put suitcases. The extra pillows were on the bottom of the closet, where clothes were supposed to be hung. We stayed here for four nights. During that time, cleaning was done once. The sheets and towels were not changed. Wet towels did not have time to dry. The towels are old and grayish (especially the medium hand towels). The bathroom sink and shower tray are cracked. Some of the electrical outlets were broken. The kitchenette had a capsule coffee maker with only three capsules (enough for two people, for four nights). Looking at the pictures, you might assume all the rooms had direct access to the street, but our room didn't. To get there, you had to go out and down the hallway. The room cost over 700 euros, and I really regret not finding a better option and wasting that considerable money on this place. The location is good

• Guest (9/5): A very charming building and location - I really enjoyed staying here and would stay again. I liked the neighborhood, which is not touristy, and the arrangement of the rooms around the shared patio creates a pleasant atmosphere. The location might seem a bit off the beaten path to some, but that's part of what I liked. It's very close to the Brancacci Chapel, Santo Spirito, and the many little shops of the Oltarno. There is a grocery next door and a laundromat across the street - very convenient. These are really rooms rather than apartments. Mine was the larger one, which I chose because it has a little dining table, but I peeked into the one with a fireplace and thought it looked nice and seemed to have a newer bathroom. I didn't meet the owners in person, but they were readily available via WhatsApp and the cleaning lady was helpful and came every day. I have no significant complaints, but I would suggest, as others have, that the owners provide a couple of plates and knives, forks, and spoons. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom that didn't work. That didn't matter for me, and I'm sure the owners would have remedied it if I'd mentioned it. I think an iron and ironing board would be appreciated by guests as well.

• Claire (9/5): A well located haven in Florence. - Cortile Santa Monica is set back in a courtyard making it a perfect retreat after a busy day sightseeing. There are some little seats and tables for you to use in the courtyard. The street has a supermarket, launderette, cafe and a vegan falafel restaurant. It’s about 20 minute easy walk from the train station, and is located well for short walks to all the main sights of Florence. If you do want an evening in the tv connects to Netflix and Amazon Prime. We had a very lovely relaxing few days !
• Guest (5/5): It was cute and comfortable but we were expecting better. - We loved the location and the vibe of the apartment. The room in the ground floor had only very light curtains, so during the night with the light inside, people could see inside. It was also not comfortable for the morning if you have a light sleep. The bathroom was not arranged in the best way, not curtains for the shower so water everywhere. The room is good if you don't have noisy neighboors.

• Christa (8/5): - De locatie is heel fijn! Het ligt niet in het drukke centrum, maar wel op loopafstand daarvan. De wijk waar het appartement in ligt is ook levendig en vol met leuke restaurants, maar in het appartement is het heerlijk rustig! Je hoort niets van de buitenwereld en ook van de andere gasten bijna niets. Het appartement zelf is ook aangenaam. Zo bleef het er bijvoorbeeld lekker koel, ook zonder de airco aan te zetten. Verder waren de voorzieningen vrij simpel, maar in principe is alles aanwezig en het is charmant ingericht. Als ik iets moet noemen: in de keuken was een theedoek handig geweest. Verder was het prima!

• Michael (10/5): - Die Zimmer sind zu einem idyllischen kleinen Innenhof hin gelegen (die Fotos täuschen nicht) und von der Unterkunft kann man die Altstadt von Florenz perfekt zu Fuß erkunden. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber und der Reinigsungskraft klappte absolut problemlos und das Zimmer war wirklich ein Traum. Das Hotel liegt in Oltarno, einem noch etwas ursprünglicheren Stadteil von Florenz, dessen Mischung aus Touristen und Einheimischen ein ganz besonderes Flair hat. In der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es auch ein paar echte Weinfenster (besonders zu empfehlen ist das der Fiaschetteria Fantappié). Nichts.

• EDEN (10/5): - Non ho fatto in tempo ad apprezzare. Visto la schematicità delle domande ho dovuto dare risposte a volte non corrette. Purtroppo appena dopo l'arrivo, dopo avere depositato i bagagli in camera, mia moglie si è infortunata uscendo dal portone (ha dei problemi di deambulazione). Quindi verificando la situazione abbiamo deciso di ritornare a casa ed andre in pronto soccorso usufruendo dei Bagni giusto per rinfrescarmi (mia moglie non è più riuscita una volta fuori a rientrare in struttura dato che non riusciva più a fare i gradini). Purtroppo pensavo che trattandosi di una struttura a piano terra non ci fossero gradini particolarmente problematici, e questa è stata una mia valutazione errata. Pazienza!

• Guest (7/5): - La chambre est grande et à l’abris de la rue. L’accès se fait de manière autonome et l’emplacement est vraiment top pour visiter Florence. C’est bel et bien une chambre (avec grande table) et non un appartement. Il n’y a pas de cuisine. Dans la chambre numéro 2 nous avions 5 fenêtres sans rideaux occultants (lumière tôt le matin). Comme mentionné dans les autres commentaires, l’eau de la douche ne s’écoule pas rapidement. Pas de possibilités de laisser les bagages après le check-out.

The host was available fastly when we needed. There was a slightly smell in the house I guess from the wood or wetness I don’t really know.

Slight smell from the air conditioning and bathroom. The shower drain didn't drain quick enough so showers needed to be cut short as the bathroom would've flooded.
• Morgan (10/5): Amazing location and lovely room! - Excellent location, right near some cool spots and it was a short walk away from all the sights. The room was just what we needed and the courtyard outside the room was very pretty and provided a nice space to have a drink or chat. The bed was huge and really comfy and the room had everything we needed. The shop right next door was also handy! Andrea was really friendly and sent really clear instructions to check into the room and it was super easy to get into the building. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again! We really enjoyed our permanence in the structure and we would suggest to go. I would suggest: - needed more (or at list one) Schuko plug (or an adapter) for hairdryer/laptops - the water in the sink and in the shower hardly goes down (plumber needed) - the small fridge is very noisy - wardrobe and and furnishing very nice but some of them too old, not functional

Small market next door was convenient as well as many restaurants and bars. Bed was super comfortable! Entrance was dark, could use a motion sensor light. Place looks clean but could use a deep cleaning and some new towels.

• Шаевич (10/5): We had an amazing time during our 4 days here. - Michelle, the owner, is a very pleasant person who was always available even during the booking process and helped us with early check-in. The house is secured behind a gate with a code, which makes you feel safe and secure. Inside, it is quiet, and the patio is spacious and clean. The room is also very clean, with all necessary amenities: cleaning supplies, a hairdryer, a kettle, constant hot water, strong water pressure, fast Wi-Fi, a comfortable large bed, and a mini-fridge. The house is located in the city center, and we could reach all the main attractions by walking in just 10 minutes. Thank you so much for making our Italian holiday unforgettable! Everything was perfect

• Amy (10/5): Dreamy retreat - The apartment is such a dreamy retreat. The location is great. Out of the crowded parts but close to everything. The room is so comfortable with everything you need. Great bed. It was one of the cleanest places we have stayed. We had great communication too. Nothing major, but the entryway is really dark at night. I just had to remember to use my phone flashlight.

• Diana (9/5): A 100 percent jeweils in this expensive City - The Location is in the new hipster District oltrarno. You can Walk everywhere in Max. 25 Minutes. Next Door to the Appartement is a Supermarket. Quite important. The Appartement is simple but nice and cosy with a Sweet Little patio for every guest to use. But you have to mention this is a very nice Price for an excellent spot and it has everything you need. Sometimes the WLAN is a Bit shake but anyway. The Most memorable thing is the kindness and sweetness of the owner michelle. She took care of everything including an early Check in, any Little thing to fix (like a loose socket) it Happened in an Instant. Absolutely highly recommanded. Grazie mille.

• Susan (10/5): Fabulous location that is close to great restaurants and all the key sites in the city. - Great location. Spacious with access to outside space. Nothing.
• Ioana (10/5): Good location with a romantic Italian decor and near all touristic attractions - The location is wonderful: a hidden interior garden with a wonderful terrace and olive tree. We also had a room with a roof window which was very romantic. The best part is that the hotel is located near all tourist attractions: Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens or Ponte Vecchio (5-10 minutes walk). Also Babae, which is one of the most famous wine windows in Florence is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Also our room was very italian style with high roof and antique-modern design. If you travel by car you will also find paid parking service near the hotel (5 minutes walk). Also there is a market right at the entrance in the building. Good communication with the property manager. No cleaning in the room (although we stayed for 6 days) so you need to manage it yourself.

• Alicja (9/5): Perfect location! - Perfect location, good communication with the staff. We could leave our bags for a while after checking out. Quiet place. Clear self check-in instruction Terrible sofa bed. If you book for two is fine because you will get the king size bed but if there is more of you I don’t recommend. Maybe something was broken inside of the sofa in our apartament but the person who slept there felt very uncomfortable and she couldn’t sleep well.

Although the property was advertised on Booking having a parking, it was mentioned in another paragraph (not that obvious) that the parking was not near the apartment, but somewhere else in the city and would cost a minimum 32 EUR per day.
• Panagiota (9/5): Superb - Great location, close to the center. Ideal for longer stays as it has an equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Despite not having its own parking, the staff was helpful in providing instructions about it. Not a negative per se, but a guide with nearby blue parking spots and garages would be a good extra help for visitors.

Check in was super easy and we were sent a door code and code for the keys in a lock box. The apartment was small, but well laid out and very comfortable. It was a great location and excellent value for money.
