• Jessica Guerrero (10/5): Súper estadía en Antigua...repetiría sin dudar 🤗 - El personal súper, me dejaron elegir mi litera, me tocó la habitación de 2 literas que está dentro de una habitación de más literas, cierras la puerta y prácticamente es tu habitación privada. Por la noche es muy silencioso, se puede descansar muy bien. El desayuno incluído estuve espectacular y la zona de agua, café y té buenísimo (súper útil). La terraza súper amplia y se puede ver el volcán lindísimo. El wifi va bien para trabajar remoto y la distancia con el centro se disfruta muchísimo con la caminata por las calles e iglesias del camino. Lo súper recomiendo. Quizás tener más momentos de limpieza de baños y áreas comunes, los huéspedes van ensuciando y la idea seria que tengan cada 3 o 4 horas hagan una repasada a todas esas áreas, cuestión que no se permite ver la suciedad de los demás...aunque la idea seria que los demás huéspedes cuiden esos detalles.
• Julien (8/5): Bon séjour mais un peu déçu de avoir payer plus pour moins de confort - - L’accueil et le personnel agréable - Le petit déjeuner même si il n’était pas varié - Le Rooftop avec la vue sur le volcan - L’emplacement très calme. 15 à 20 minutes à pied du centre - Pouvoir se refill en eau et café - Activités moins cher sur place, que dans des agences. Et les Shuffles pour les différents endroits comme aéroport -literie bien confort - J’ai booké la chambre avec la salle de bain exprès pour se sentir plus tranquille et plus d’intimité. Mais aucun système d’évacuation donc il faisait vraiment trop chaud dans la chambre même si il y avait un ventilateur je pense que il faut revoir cela.. - Le fait de payer que en cash on est perdant sur les commissions à la banque. J’avais des dollars sur moi mais il y avait une grosse différence de prix si je payais avec cette devise

• Elena (10/5): The most amazing and helpful staff - The staff is absolutely amazing! They are so responsive, friendly and helpful. They organized all of the trips and things I wanted or needed in Antigua; includng Acatenango tour, which was also one of the best prices you could find. I spoke with Sydney much before I arrived in Guatemala, and she helped me and solved every one of the issues I had. They were kind enough to let me check in early, and I was injured and they helped me with everything and even gave me ice packs to use. The facilities have everything you need; they have a great view at the top and the breakfast is amazing. Overall, one of the most helpful hostels I have been to Some of the guests were quite noisy after silent hours, but this of course is nothing they can do.

• Marije (8/5): - Zoola suites is niet de meest chique locatie in Antigua maar het personeel maakt je verblijf het meer dan waard. We kwamen net aan in Guetemala en ze hebben ons geduldig en enthousiast geholpen met onze vragen. Ze hebben goede tips en onze excursie naar de Acetenango was het hoogtepunt van ons verblijf in Guatemala. De locatie is iets verder van het centrum maar wel lekker rustig.

• Walerie (10/5): - Zoola was so incredibly helpful with everything. They gave recommendations of where to eat/ what to do in the city, which were helpful. They answered like a million questions I had. Helped me with booking a tour for the volcano and helped me out when I got sick. They really exceeded my expectations. There were some bugs on the lockers the first night. I didn't say anything about it tho and after the first night they were gone.

From the moment we arrived, we were very well received by the staff, who helped us with all the logistics for our days in Guatemala. • Bethany (10/5): The most amazing stay with great staff! - One of my favourite hostels so far. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but always kept clean and exactly what you need. The breakfast is amazing - oh how I have missed Nutella - but what truly makes this place stand out is the staff! All members of staff are great people, super friendly and always in hand to give great recommendations. After coming back to Antigua following my Acatenango hike, despite me not staying there that night, they gave me a towel to shower and are just all round, the best people! Nothing

• XIAOJING (4/5): won’t recommend - breakfast good the mixed dorm was a nightmare, 5 or 6 bunk bed in a room without proper window, just a exhaust fan makes big noise all the time for ventilation. the location is far away from everything, usually i don’t mind walking, but think about the rocky road in Antigua, it just suffers. and the staff, when I checked in I just took a look at the Acatenango ad and the staff looked at me with sympathy: sorry, all booked. who needs this really?

• Chris (2/5): There are better options for private rooms at this price. - Great breakfast and easy booking for the the Volcán de Fuego Not a very social place. Not much comfort, very basic and cheap accommodations in room. I basically showered in a broom closet downstairs as the upstairs bathroom was usually occupied. WiFi didn't work in my room. I had to prop the door shut to sleep due to rattling sound. Very loud industrial strength fan in the room was unusable. Bad location for Ubers, long waits. I shortened my stay and moved to SociaTel
• Connor (9/5): Super friendly hostel with a lovely team, great views and delicious breakfasts! - Super friendly staff who couldn't do any more to help if they tried. Really nice team. Breakfast included was of seriously good quality, the best I had on my five week trip in any hostel. Rooms and beds were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Terrace was a lovely spot to relax or have breakfast; a proper sun trap with incredible views of the volcano! Dorm was not too private as beds were open and close together so if you prefer to have a boxy type bed with curtain maybe look elsewhere but other than that everything was fine.

Roman the owner, Jimmy, and the entire staff—from the front desk and the chef to the night guard—everyone was friendly and helped with everything. It starts with being offered a towel the second you walk into the hostel after a trek, to high-quality breakfasts, booking tours and shuttles, and getting plenty of great recommendations on what to do in the city. The place is clean and well-maintained, and if you have any request regarding, they take care of it immediately. There are house rules in every room, like keeping quiet between 10 PM and 8 AM, which ensures a considerate and pleasant atmosphere for everyone. Hot water, luggage storage, a clean kitchen, a rooftop, and various chill-out areas. Highly recommended I personally liked the location, but it's not exactly in the center, for those who prefer being right in the middle of things.

• Maximilian (10/5): Sehr zu empfehlen! - Wir hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt im Zoola Suites. Es war alles wie beschrieben und das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Man braucht etwa 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum. Das Personal war super und hat uns sehr gute Restaurants und Aktivitäten empfehlen können. Sie haben auch unsere Tour zum Acatenango gebucht und uns gut darauf vorbereitet. Während der Tour durften wir unser Gepäck im Hostel lagern. Nach Rückkehr von unserer Overnight Tour durften wir sogar kostenfrei duschen, bevor es für uns weiter ging. Sehr zu empfehlen!

• Isabel (7/5): Great city to start your travel in Guatemala! - Good location in Antigua, very good breakfast and mostly helpful and friendly staff giving us loads of good recommendations. Great rooftop to enjoy your breakfast Quite pricey during semana santa, but that is the case everywhere in Antigua. AirCon would have been great, or at least a decent window to let in some cool air during the night. What was bothering us the most is that the staff was not always in sufficient physical condition, leading to quite some misunderstandings and wrong shuttle bookings. However, everything worked out in the end. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped, some stuff was however missing.

• Danette (10/5): A home away from home, thanks to Jimi, the manager - The way this place is managed is what makes it superb. Jimi will go out of his way to make sure you’re situated and ease your stay in Antigua. I stayed in much fancier places and didn’t get this kind of care and support. When the shuttle company failed to provide door-to-door service, and organized a pickup point instead, he got me a partial refund without my asking. He outlined an entire bike trip map for us, with sites and all. Made Antigua a home away from home. Also met wonderful fellow travelers and enjoyed amazing pancakes! Nothing to dislike. It was simple and clean.

• Σεηλορ (10/5): Cosy and value for money - This place is really a hostel! It's small and cosy, nothing fancy and not a party backpackers hostel, yet you get to meet the nicest people. The beds are comfortable, there is a plug right on the side of every bed. Towels provided. Very cheap price and still nice breakfast included. Nice terrace where you can sunbathe or just chill. Area to wash your clothes. Very clean and the rooms smell good. Safe. The staff is really friendly and helpful with everything. Big lockers that can fit both the big backpack and the smaller one. I felt really nice and comfortable in this hostel! The location is a bit further away, like 15-20 minutes walking from the main square so it's not suitable for people that mind walking or want to be close to the party places. It was a bit noisy at the dorm with is right by the reception.

Quiet area of town but everything was within easy walking distance. The place had several beautiful outdoor areas and rooms were good. Shared bathrooms were not a problem and always very clean. It also has a well stocked kitchen and I think the price includes breakfast which looked very good (although I was unable to partake due to dietary restrictions).

You can also book your daily adventures or shuttles to your next destination through them (both at the best price in town ) Good location on the quiet side just in the south end of town (it’s a 13-15 minute walk to the main square). Calling an Uber or flagging down a tuk tuk is an option as well). Room was good and the queen bed comfortable !

• Ipek (9/5): Great location, very clean, great breakfast! - Great location and amazing staff. It's a little further out (only 10min walk from the central park) so it was nice and quiet at night. The beds are really comfy and the room and bathroom was always very clean. The rooftop is really nice with a great view of the surrounding areas. They even had yoga matts and I was able to practice on the rooftop which was amazing. The staff is lovely and it is quite small which I really liked since I mainly wanted to relax. Breakfast was also amazing and freshly made, there is coffee and tea available all day long. Honestly it was really nice and I had a lot of privacy and would definitely love to come back! Nothing!

Jimmy and Christina were so welcoming and extremely helpful. They gave a lot of good recommendations and helped arranged a private transport back to the airport for a very reasonable price. The room was very clean and the hot breakfast was great. All the rooms surround a courtyard so noise travels and you can hear everything. Other guests did not respected the quiet hours and they were talking loudly and moving furniture around the terrace past midnight. My room was the floor below and I could hear it very loudly. The bed could be a little softer as well.

• Lina (10/5): The most helpful staff in Guatemala! 1000% recommendation! - Best hostel ever in sense of helpfulness of the staff - all of them super lovely, friendly people who really care to help you. I was having troubles with other accommodations in Antigua and Zoola Suites helped me so much - with accommodation me, helping me for equipment for the Acatenango trekking and giving me very much information and motivation. They also stored our luggage during the trekking and after we came back, even if we werent staying with them any more they were so kind, giving us towels to get a hot shower after the trekking and letting us ca sort our luggage. They even helped me with organization for a shuttle to the Atitlan Lake on the next day. Also all of the prices of tours and transports which they offer are great. The rooof top terrace is great as well. Thank you, guys! Actually nothing. (The bathroom on the first floor could be for example a big bigger but sincerely - the helpfulness of the staff is so great, that everything else is just not worth mentioning :) )

Some people don't seem to understand the principle of living in community. Maybe a reminder? Oh, actually, it's useless, there is a reminder about "silence hours", people just don't care. All the staff were fluent in English and helped me with all the travel info I needed to see the city and onward destinations. The bathroom and toilets were excellent - 4-star hotel standard and enough of them for all to use. Comfortable dorm for good night's sleep. Many sitting places to do own work. Good decent mix dorm. The kitchen was a bit small but would suffice unless you plan to cook a feast.
• Jose (10/5): Exceptional - The beds are comfortable, clean and has a nice terrace. I really enjoyed my time there. The best part of it all is the staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Big plus to coffee and tea all the time.

• Alexander (8/5): Very good - The best part is definitely the host, very friendly and super helpful in all respects. Located in a relatively quiet part of town. The room is clean. They are super flexible with arrival time, storing your luggage, using their facilities even after checking out if, for example, you're going for a hike. Not much if compared to other hostels. I guess the shared bathroom and shower are a bit rough, but that's to be expected.

• Line (10/5): Exceptional - Honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff were super responsive, helpful and gave heaps of recommandations around town. The double bunk bed very confy and each has a large secure backpack storage. Everything was super clean and fresh. +++

Had one of the best vacations in a while - The owners - Roman and his wife Christie were an amazing host, very friendly and helped with everything I needed during my stay in Antigua. They know the place so well and arranged everything wherever I wanted to visit in Antigua Nothing.. (Probably an all girls' dorm would be nice) !
