• Ehsan (10/5): - Our hostess was extremely friendly, accommodating, and shared a lot of interesting information about Tenerife with us. The accommodation is uniquely decorated, with many interesting books and beautiful old black-and-white family photos. The kitchen is very well equipped, the room is clean, and it features a great balcony that overlooks the promenade. The location is absolutely central, making it easy to quickly reach popular spots, nice restaurants, the excellent fish market, and the bus station. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Tenerife.

Desde el primer momento, Marta nos lo puso todo facilísimo y nos hizo sentir como en casa. Se nota que cuida cada detalle para que la estancia sea perfecta. Fuimos con nuestra peque y tuvo el precioso detalle de dejarle muñecos y libros, algo que nos encantó y que marcó la diferencia. Está pendiente de sus clientes en todo momento y se preocupa sinceramente porque todo esté bien. Ha sido una experiencia increíble y, sin duda, si volvemos por la zona, repetiremos aquí. ¡Totalmente recomendable! Todo fue genial. Marta es encantadora.

• Ingo (7/5): Geschmacksache - Toplage im Zentrum. Umfangreich nutzbare Küche, sehr freundliche Vermieter. Geräumiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemem Bett. Da es NULL Parkplätze im Umkreis gab, waren wir froh, dass uns gegen Aufpreis ein Tiefgaragenplatz gegeben wurde. Unser sonnenloses, dunkles Zimmer hatte keinen Balkon und die Aussicht auf ein hohes Bankgebäude in 8m Entfernung, also null Aussicht. Schöne Alternativzimmer gibt es zwar, wurden uns aber nicht angeboten. Die antiquarische Einrichtung im Appartment und im Zimmer ist absolute Geschmacksache: 70er Jahre und seitdem wohl in Benutzung. Unseren Geschmack hat es aber nicht getroffen. Nur kleines Bad mit Dusche zur Nutzung für mehrere Zimmer. Der Preis war mir dafür zu hoch. Die Stadt Santa Cruz de Teneriffe ist eine Katastrophe: Keine Parkplätze, überall alles gesperrt, dafür gefühlt 10.000km Radwege, auf denen wir in sechs Tagen exakt DREI Radfahrer mit Extremsportlerbekleidung auf Rennrädern gesehen haben. Wer den Sozialismus will, für den ist es das höchste. Aber da kann der Vermiter nichts dafür, vermute ich.

• Rosemary (4/5): - Location was good, room had a boutique feel with retro decor, owner was friendly We were extremely shocked on arrival to find that our room had a shared bathroom with potentially 4 other people which was located 10m away... if we had known this in advance we absolutely wouldn't have booked this accomodation. In the end we didn't want to ruin our holiday disputing with the owner and booking.com so went to Primark to buy slides and tried to make it work. For the level of the facilties the room is overpriced. The windows were drafty and not sound proof at all. Neither are the partition walls between rooms... if your neighbour snores, you will hear it (we did). The room was not cleaned once during our one week stay - we got fresh towels cos we asked for them. The representation of the property as a boutique bnb / hotel is false. Shame.

• Douglas (9/5): - Great location, right in the heart of the City with bars, restaurants and retail everywhere. It's good value for money and the room has a great balcony. Sliding glass door wouldn't close properly, but it still kept the noise away.
• Amanda (10/5): Community living - It really felt like a home. It was decorated with real objects from Martha's life and it's clear she put a lot of thought into the space. Bed was very comfortable. Small details including jewelery/pocket change trays were present. Kitchen had anything you could want (i.e. panini press). It's a good accommodation if you might want to bump into other travelers in the kitchen and make some friends without being in a grubby hostel or isolated in a hotel. The listing said there's a private entrance which isn't exactly true. You must travel through the living room and kitchen to get to all rooms. In room 4 it's a bit noisy as the alley is right outside the thin window and the metal kitchen trashcan really clangs but nothing earplugs can't fix. I'd still stay here again.
• KLEMENT (9/5): Great location, comfortable stay - The location is perfect, very close to the main attractions. I had a rental motorcycle, and there was public secure parking in front of the apartment. The room was comfy and spacious. There was a shared kitchen you could use. The shared bathroom was shared among I didn't pay enough attention during booking and thought the room had a private bathroom. It was shared between a couple of other rooms, but it was cleaned daily.
• Sergio (8/5): - Rommet var midt i sentrum og det var masse aktivitet rundt i gata. Mange alternativer for å spise og gode restauranter og kafeer rundt. Buss og trykk forbindelse er ikke lang unna og kollektive transport er meget god i Tenerife. Marta var en fantastisk vertinne som tok godt vare på gjestene sine. Leiligheten ble vasket og ryddet daglig. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake! Som sagt før, leiligheten ligger midt i sentrum og det er mye støy fra utsiden til sent på natta, så hvis du er typen som våkner lett av støy bør du tenke deg om før du sjekker inn.
• Christoph (7/5): Besondere Unterkunft im Stadtzentrum - Eine originelle und eigenwillige Unterkunft mitten im Stadtzentrum von Santa Cruz. Perfekte Lage für Alle die gern mitten im Geschehen sind. Da es sich um eine Art von Wohngemeinschaft handelt kann man in der gemeinsamen Küche in Kontakt mit anderen Bewohnern kommen. Die Geräuschkulisse ist nichts für Menschen, die gerne völlige Ruhe genießen. Die Fenster bieten leider keinen Schutz vor den Geräuschen der Innenstadt. Die meisten Zimmer haben keine eigene Toilette. Bei der Buchung hatte ich, auch aufgrund des Preises, eine eigenständige Ferienwohnung erwartet.
• Arnthor (9/5): Very comfortable bed, cozy room with tv - We had 3 pins by booking, and we had trouble getting in the front door, because we had 6 or 7 emails in all from booking that day, and as we are not LIVING IN OUR PHONES we were not reading these series of e- mails. So entering the hotel, finding parking was a difficult part. The premises is charming when inside, welcomed by waterbottle, fantastic kitchen with everything, room and bed very comfortable. We recommend it!

No natural light in room as curtain had to remain closed because of the building opposite being in such close proximity. NO hot water so checked out on the second day as it couldn't be rectified by the owner. I received a partial refund when, in my opinion, it should have been a full refund for the two days booked. Half of my day was wasted by spending time looking for another place to stay 🙃

Ich fand die Wohnung leider ungemütlich, dunkel, laut (Fussgängerzone, keine isolierenden Fenster), kleines fensterloses Dusche/WC im langen Gang. Leider gab es kein persönliches Willkommen und Unklarheiten bei später hungriger Ankunft, wie ich an Wohnungsschlüssel komme, wo das WC, mein Zimmer ist etc., musste alles einzeln erfragen und zuerst länger auf Antwort warten (Kontakt Whatsapp war vereinbart. Ich habe es mir viel persönlicher und gemütlicher vorgestellt.

Jednak my ocenialiśmy to na plus. Mieszkanie jest ciekawie urządzone, zwlaszcza fajna jest duża kuchnia. Cześć pokoi ma wspólną łazienkę. Nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale wydaje mi się, ze właścicielka powinna to w ofercie wyraźnie zaznaczyć. Dam głowę, ze większość wynajmujących nie zdaje sobie z tego sprawy.

• Alayna (10/5): Marta was lovely, location was great, and the decor was suberb! - We had a great stay at Niko Rooms! The location couldn't be better and super central to many shops and restaurants. Marta was extremely kind and helpful! She gave us great tips and was nice enough to tell us about her family's history with the building, which was really fascinating. We loved the decor in our room and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. When we return to Santa Cruz we will definitely be staying at Niko Rooms again! Nothing!

Les hôtes nous ont autorisés à laisser nos bagages en consigne, ce qui est très pratique Le bruit des rues était pénible, tard dans la nuit et tôt le matin. La salle de bain unique pour plusieurs chambres est limite compte tenu de la taille du logement. Une 2eme apporterait un vrai plus.

• Eva (10/5): 70ies genuine and joyfull oasis in the very hearth of Santa Cruz de Tenerife - A genuine stylish appartement with a touch of the past /70ies - excellent mixed with new needed facilities in order to acomplish very comfortable stay in the narrow center: meaning a main street with cafes and restaurants and Oval lake of Herzog& DeMeuron at Piazza d'Espagna. A lot of funny details created by a refine artist, look more like in MOMA 60/70ies exhibithion; then as allways same IKEA made ordinary & vernacular AirBnB appt. Very comfortable beds and pillows, of superiour quality. Everything was excellent. No disadvanteges.

The room as well as the apartment was very stylish. Situated right in the heart of Santa Cruz, with bars and restaurants right below your windows.

• Ewa (10/5): The place to stay in! - An absolute gem right in heart of Santa Cruz. Very stylish but also functional and really cozy. Super comfortable bed which I care a lot about! ☺️ The place has everything one may need and actually way more! Amazing space and coziness one may expect on the outskirts of the city, but this is a very city centre stay but without a feel of being on top of one other! Absolutely amazing! I’ll keep it in my favourites for Santa Cruz stays! On top of this, Marta was also an amazing host! 🙏🏽 We’ll definitely be back! ☺️

• Zehra (7/5): Comfortable stay at the heart of the city. - Location was great, apartment was beautiful with spacious balcony and landlord was quite friendly and helpful. There were small details would have been improved such as: hot water run out quickly during shower, door was a bit challenging to lock from inside. Reason I don’t give 10 stars is that we had a problem during our last day which caused uncomfortable situation to us. It was miscommunication between the workers who would fix the toilet and landlord therefore we were surprised by the strangers into our room. Although Martha was very apologetic and polite so I am still able to give 7 starts despite of the awkward situation.
• Nikita (6/5): Pleasant - Host hospitallity, kitchen equipment, location Poor sound insulation - a bar is located downstairs, and you will hear everything like the bar is in your room. Doors need renovation - it looks old and the locks don't work well. Low water heater capacity.

• Magdalena (10/5): The best place in last 20 years - Unique place. Never been to such. The best memories of the past meet sublime arifacts from our time. Absolutely the best quality: from general impression to tiny details ( from furniture, through books to bed linen). Formidable owner. You can chat with her all night long. She is the person who loves her island and knows everything about it's history from her own experience and previous generations of her noble family. Location - exellent. We are at the very heart of the capital. Don't expect peace and quiet.

• Nicholas (7/5): Doesn't live up to the ratings - Great location Very small room, bed in the corner, very cluttered, basically a converted small library room. Not clear when booking that the toilet and shower are down the hall and shared. For the price would expect a room with its own bathroom. Didn't see any staff or owner the whole time and at times the shared kitchen was unclean. Coffee machine didn't work either.
• Sue (9/5): Great location with historical connections. - Wonderful Central location but not noisy. Very eclectic individual rooms. Large communal kitchen with some food and drinks gratis. The host was very helpful. She even gave me a lift to the bus station. Some rooms are not ensuite but I didn't mind.

• Frederic (3/5): Poor - Good location Something was definitely wrong. I booked a "deluxe double room with balcony" supposed to be 269ft2 ... And I got half the surface and no balcony. As it was Christmas day, nobody to welcome me and discuss this discrepancy.

She is incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that every detail is taken care of. The flat was spotless and well-maintained throughout my two-week stay, making it a truly enjoyable experience. • Tom (1/5): Horrible stay and rip-off - The room was clean and the location next to the city center. The room was completely different than advertised. Poor and used condition. Booked it for my dad because he wanted to reunite with his brother after 30 years. Total ruined stay. Should have been a room with private bath but it wasn't. My father, 76 years old, was not able to use the shared bathroom because some people were celebrating a party in it. The owner was not even able to stop this ridiculous behaviour of other people. After complaining at the booking.com hotline, he was able to move out earlier and I've booked another apartment. The owner tried to rip off another 10% of the overall booked and paid amount in cash because of the "early canceled stay".
