- Cris M.C. (9/5): - Experiencia tradicionalwn nuestro viaje.

- Galen (9/5): Superb - The home accommodated a full family, as we booked the whole home, which could be divided into two rental spaces. It's a traditional, old home where you sleep on a padding/futon on the floor. The floors are extremely clean. Shoes are left outside to not track dirt inside.
This is a rustic accommodation with amenities. It's not a modern home. It is more like a summer-camp cabin, less like a hotel or urban rental apartment.
The ceiling is low so a guest 6 foot tall and taller will manage but may not be comfortable in the kitchen/bathroom area.
The house is on a steep, short hill so people with physical disabilities or poor fitness will need to take time. Not compatible for people using a wheelchair or walker. Avoid bringing heavy suitcases.
The left side (when facing the home) kitchen and bathroom area is narrow and would be uncomfortable for larger sized people. The right side kitchen and bathroom area is more accommodating for larger sized people. The kitchens are mini so we used them to store leftover food and breakfast fruits and coffee. We ate at restaurants for lunch and dinner.
The street parking is at the bottom of the hill, has a parking attendant puts a timed arrival ticket on your car window and charged us 50 percent of the usual fee when we told them we were staying at this house. It is not free parking.
The location is very convenient to the tourist area and the rest of the city. It's a good way to experience a traditional home. The host was wonderful.
- Sascha (9/5): Superb - Very authentic and beautiful place. A little rundown, but thats what you get if you want to stay in an original and old hanok. So no complaints from us. I wouldn’t recommend this place for very large people. The kitchen entrance is very narrow and you have to walk through it to get to the bathroom
- Kong (8/5): Hanok stay - Those who like to experience staying in Hanok house Need to walk very far uphill with bags. So will not be suitable for elderly
- Audrey (9/5): Beautiful view, comfortable and genuinely historic hanok. - The owner is so kind! The hanok was an old school and I loved the history of it. It was clean, warm, and comfortable. don’t listen to those who are complaining over the bathroom and such… it’s great with good facilities considering how old the building is. I was so pleasantly surprised at the kitchen and the heated floors. We were also visited by a very friendly cat.
The property isn’t in the heart of everything, but that’s what we prefer. It’s got a great view, is a short walk from a lake, and a short walk from the hanok village.
- Alexandrine (7/5): Good - Experience of spending time in an Hanok.
Sleeping on the floor with a heated floor.
Nice garden.
Localisation near the Hanok village.
Nice host. Very old and humid.
Free parking is 2km away.
Noisy road below the property, mitigated by double windows.
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is a very kind person who welcomed us warmly and shared great stories about Jeonju, as well as his adventures on the Camino in Europe. We had an amazing time there and we recommend this typical hanok! Great view, lovely garden with home-made arts, perfect location nearby the historical center of Jeonju! Comfortable beddings if you enjoy sleeping on traditional floor-mattress with ondol (heating floor). Keep in mind that this hanok is located near the Jaman Mural Village that is up-hill, which might not be the best choice if you need an access with no slope or no stairs. As far as we are concerned, we do not have any accessibility requirements so it was not a problem at all for us =)
- Giulia (9/5): Worthy staying in Jeonju~ - We loved our staying in this Hanok so much, the house was comfortable and warm and also truly beautiful, the view from here will make you love even more your time in Jeonju!! The location too is good, is really near to the Hanok village and Jeonju's main attractions where basically all the main activities are held, we almost never took a bus, always just going and coming back by foot. A special note to our host that made our staying even better, making us feel like home and being very kind and patient with us. Thank you again 사장님!! 다음에 만나요! Maybe just the bathroom's ceiling that was very low, but even though two of us where very high (like 180cm) we just managed to get showered with not that much nuisance, that too was part of the experience :)
- Dabin (10/5): A great location to stay. - Heated floors were great.
Very rustic and traditional look.
Walking distance of Hanok Village, Omokdae, Jeonju Hyanggyo, Gyeonggijeon, Jaman Mural Village, shopping areas, Pungnammun, Jeondong Cathedral, and Nambu Markets
- Ashton (6/5): Great option when traveling with a pet! - We loved being able to travel and stay with our dog in a traditional hanok! The ceiling height was low and we could clearly hear the neighbors.
- Norshakina (10/5): Exceptional - The place is warm and cozy. Just nice for the 4 of us. The place is quiet and private. Loving this house. Owner is super helpful and friendly. Thank you Ajusshi 🩷
- Nandini (9/5): Stay in true hanok style - Its a very unique place. Taste of old korea. Booking site must add details reg distance to walk. Its a steep climb. We were ok. But other guests? Bathroom a little cramped.
