Guest Reviews
- Abdul (10/5): - Very responsible and reachable host.
Guided me nicely on how to check in.
The place has free parking on the street. Can change fridge.
- Michael (10/5): - Good
- Grant (5/5): Affordable, maybe slightly overpriced for whats offered, can use some work and it will be acceptable - Affordable place to stay and a nice host, location 3 smaller shops nearby (5minute walk distance or less) if you want bigger shops get your leg workout in (15-30mins depending on the shop) since the smaller ones dont have any fresh meats and such.
The sofa was nice, the beds were comfortable (they got upgraded)
Living room was nice (except for the lack of lightbulbs that never got bothered replacing
Bedrooms were nice and comfortable since last time i went there
All by all it was my 3rd time staying there, As i said affordable thats the biggest positive The place itself is a maisonette so to reach the place you have to go into a trashfilled alley way to then pick up the key from a very filthy mat and floor to then use the key on a door that feels very clunky and might snap the key at a wrong move.
The floor is nice but the once you enter the kitchen there are quite the problem.
1). The windows are dirty on the inside so they need to get de-humidified badly
2) there is spoiled foods and drinks from previous tenants in the fridge/freezer/cupboard
3) the utensils you get are.. pretty bad to say the least most of them had stains so had to re-do the dishes
4) Why are there 4 freezers in the kitchen?
The bathroom.
1). That shower head needs replacing and a anti slip mat needs to be placed (my kids almost got hit in the head by a way to fat showerhead that slipped out the showerheadholder and almost slipped a couple times)
The backyard (mainly a dumpster)
1). please dont look at it, its atrocious
The place as a whole
Get ready for neighbours upstairs walking about at 1am sounding as if the jumanji board is wanting to escape.
You can hear EVERYTHING.
- Sophie (7/5): Good - Easy to find, local amenities such as local shops, near the tube station and bus stop. Having a big field opposite so the kids could play.
I have to say the staff were lovely and allowed us to check in early. This doesn’t deflect on some negatives I have, however I would stay again The bathroom is outdated, could do with upgrading. The kitchen could’ve done with a good deep clean, turned milk and food were left in the fridge, outside space could do with tidying and made nicer. However bedroom/livingroom was clean and fresh.
- Lee (1/5): Never again - Nothing Filthy dirty. Could not see out of kitchen window. Blinds broken. Fridge and freezer smelt awful. Bed very uncomfortable. UNABLE TO ACCESS SECOND BEDROOM AS DOOR HANDLE WAS BROKEN. TV remote - batteries run out. Bath rusty.
Was really hot when I entered the property. Washing was on a heated airer in the hallway. Only stayed for one night, which was one night too many
- Jane (7/5): It was a pleasant stay, very basic. Attention to certain details could have made it better. - I liked that we could have the heater on when we needed it during the winter cold season and we had a washing machine. The second bedroom bed was uncomfortable. The shower head could not hook on the shower. Would have been better to have a tumble dryer rather than a heat rack.
- Charlie (9/5): Superb - very close to shops
- Sarath (7/5): Good -
