• Fran (8/5): Apartment review - Location and space in apartment easy parking nice and warm good heating system large space bedroom Shower faulty water ran from the pipework at a joint Some maintenence work required to repair damaged goods like the living room unit drawer being off its hinges the freezer drawers broken and freezer over freezing up the bedside lamps and phone holders broken and have been since last visit march 2025 Housekeeping should report the damaged to enable the work to be done instead of the apartment falling into a state of disrepair. These are constructive comments only we have usedthe apartment 5 times now and want to keep doing so hence the remarks. Outside stairwell graffiti on walks this could use a wee like of paint also as its a bit unsightly on entrance

• Mette (8/5): Would definitely stay here again. - The location was great particularly for going out to eat. The stairs were a bit difficult for my elderly mother.

• Lilias (9/5): - Comfortable warm flat, well situated just off main street. Generous with towels and the central heating, cooker and washing machine were all easy to use. Although the stairs were steep they weren't as bad as some reviews suggested. There's a handrail and the steps were wide enough.

• Johanna (9/5): - Superschönes, modernes und großes Apartment (wir waren zu dritt) in perfekt zentraler Lage. Den vorherigen Kommentaren zum creepy Hintereingang und Treppenhaus muss ich zustimmen, ist aber zu verkraften. Kostenlosen Parkplatz habe ich wenige Minuten zu Fuß hangaufwärts Richtung Mc Caigh Tower gefunden.
• Maud (8/5): ne vous fiez pas aux abords, le logement en vaut vraiment la peine - la situation du logement près du port, des restaurants, des magasins après avoir été négativement surpris des abords de l'arrivée au logement , nous avons été rassuré dès la porte d'entrée la qualité et la beauté de toutes les pièces dans le logement idéal pour faire la visite de la distillerie juste à côté les abords , l'accès se trouve à l'arrière du bâtiment, le passage extérieur et les escaliers pour y accéder sont sales et on se demande où on va arriver
• Torsten (7/5): Nice & large flat with friendly hosts right at the city centre, but shabby entrance and stairway. - Very friendly and quick support by the landlord. Large flat, excellent location right in city the centre. Entrance to the house and stairway to the flat quite shabby and urgently needing a makeover. Too many leftovers from prior visitors in the kitchen cupboards. Uncomfortable smell in the bathroom - maybe hidden mould somewhere?

• Daniela (6/5): Für 2 Nächte okay, wenn man woanders isst - Die Wohnung ist hübsch eingerichtet und bietet einen schönen Ausblick in den Hafen. Man ist mitten in der Stadt und nah am Wasser. Das Treppenhaus und der Weg dorthin hätte uns fast davon abgehalten überhaupt in die Wohnung zu gehen. Man erreicht es über einen Hinterhof, welcher sehr dreckig ist. Das Treppenhaus ist ebenfalls dreckig und sehr heruntergekommen. In der Küche fehlt es an Ausstattung. Töpfe und Pfannen sind so gut wie gar nicht vorhanden. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung ist okay, aber auch nicht so berühmt, dass ich sie lobend erwähnen würde. Beispielsweise sind auf den Fliesen im Bad Wasserflecken/Kalkflecken.
• Sharon (7/5): Very nice, clean and modern. But challenging narrow spiral staircase up to 3rd floor apartment. - 2 bed apartment was very spacious, with comfortable furniture and beds. The narrow spiral staircase up to the third floor was challenging for seniors to haul up their luggage.
• RHODA BELLA (10/5): - Excellent! Top most is the location and just in center of Oban. Apartment is clean,comfy and kitchen equipments are complete and all clean. I really wish we could stay for more days. None. All are exceptional.

It was on a busy street and at night you could hear the people heading back to their location from bars. You just needed to shut the windows though and they blocked the sound.

• Belinda (9/5): Gorgeous place in the middle of town - Location is great. Right in the middle of town. Check in was easy. Just follow hosts instructions. The place is beautifully done. Clean and comfortable with all the necessities. One of our best stay throughout our 2 weeks Scotland trip. The bathroom has a slight foul smell.

• Marcia (9/5): Superb - Nicely updated apartment in downtown Oban. Great appliances. Appreciated the washer-dryer. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Lots of space. The stairwell could use new paint.
• Moira (10/5): One night stay at Lorne - The property was beautifully decorated, very clean and provided everything we required. Good location and great size. Staff were amazing as I left me phone in the apartment. Not enough time to get it before the ferry to Barra sailed. The owner took it the next day to the terminal and kept in touch to let us know what was happening. Cal Mac sent it into me on the next boat. Above and beyond to help me in this situation. It is so much appreciated. Nothing

• Joseph (10/5): We were in Oban for a wedding, the apartment was a great place to stay. - It was a lovely apartment in a lovely location, couldn’t fault it😀 The alleyway leading to the apartment was pitch black and the stairway was in need of a freshen up. It gave you a false interpretation of what the apartment would be like.

• Kay (10/5): Exceptional - Wow. This apartment was beautiful. Very spacious. Equipped with everything you'd need. 2 large bedrooms. We will be rebooking for further Oban trips. Parking just round the corner from property, only £11.50 for Friday to Sunday (paid by card as well). Up 2 flights of spiral stairs, but unless you have walking problems, you'll manage easily enough. Big thanks to Myles, who helped me with a query before we arrived. Absolutely nothing - perfect!

• Margaret (9/5): Great location, facilities and cleanliness of apartment. - Hard to find through a little black door, once you walk up spiral staircase you enter a 2 bedroom apartment. It was clean, comfortable and roomy. Full kitchen with laundry facilities. Location in the heart of town.

• Shannon (8/5): Nice clean apartment with good facilities for guests without mobility issues. - Very clean with great facilities. Plenty of space, big TV, full kitchen, nice bathroom and rain shower with great water pressure. Handy location right in town. The outside is very worn down and decrepit. Very much a case of don’t judge a book by its cover. The main doors to enter the property off the street are worn out and dirty looking, but then the door to the flat is great and everything after that is clean and fresh. A lick of paint on the outside doors would make a big difference. Maybe get the boiler looked at. Appreciated having notes in booking email about hot water not always coming through, and the instructions by the boiler came in handy, but as a guest shouldn’t need to do that.

• Hendry-boyce (10/5): 10/10 lorne apartments - Everything about the apartment from location to facilities everything you could want from your own home was available in the apartment beds were so comfy the kitchen window looked out onto mccaig tower which was lite up all night beautiful. Being an Oban night myself I love coming home thank you lorne apartments There was not one thing i did not enjoy about being back home in oban. Even the rainy weather could not dampen my joy
• Scott (10/5): Amazing apartment ideal location in town. - Staff very helpful around check in great location and lovely apartment very tidy and clean and very modern. Great central location in centre of town close to all pubs and restaurants. Only downside to apartment is the narrow spiral staircase tricky with cases.
