• Viktoriia (5/5): Terrible experience - 1. Tasty breakfast 2. Private kitchen at the house where we stayed 1. The owner overcharged us for the stay saying that we have to pay city tax extra $2 per person even though on my booking it clearly states that the final price includes ALL the taxes (INCLUDING city tax). The photo is attached. 2. The stuff member is often to be absent at the work spot. When we needed them, they were nowhere found. 3. Power cut. When we reached the hotel in the evening there was no electricity. We couldn’t charge the phones, use the AC and were suffocating in the room. I tried to find the employee but as mentioned above there was no one at the hotel so we couldn’t ask for help. We were about to change this hotel and find another one when the manager finally showed up. He tried to turn on the generator but they didn’t have petrol. 4. The property does not have 24/7 security or anyone on spot. 5. Confusion with the name of the hotel. They have one name on booking and different name on the gate. The location of the place is different as the name is different (it’s nearby). We could only find the place after calling the stuff member.

• Claudia (7/5): - Apprezzato molto la gentilezza ed il fatto che ogni giorno venissero a pulire la camera e cambiare asciugamani e lenzuola. Abbiamo avuto un problema con l'acqua calda e sono subito venuti a controllare. Il personale è molto disponibile e sempre sorridente La struttura è molto tranquilla e non offre alcun intrattenimento serale, per questo è necessario uscire e andare alla ricerca da qualche altra parte. Questo aspetto ovviamente dipende dalle necessità di ognuno. Per raggiungere la spiaggia di Nungwi a piedi sono necessari più o meno 20 minuti e di sera non è molto comodo ma si può sempre ricorrere a taxi
• Mayte (8/5): Excellent experience! Kind staff - We had a wonderful stay in Nungwi! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making us feel welcome. The breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. The location is also perfect, very close to everything you need. Highly recommended!
• Fatima (4/5): A big FAT disappointment - I like that the property had amenities like a fridge, toothbrushes, toothpaste and a soap. The staff are pretty much non existent after 10:30pm. I had a large cockroach in my bathroom that I kept ringing the manager Paschal for. I messaged him and no answer, I went out of the room to the main area and there was no staff there. They turned off all the lights and nothing. There’s no security around or outside of the property. I had to call my brother in law from another hotel to help kill the cockroach 30 minutes late. I had sent the image to the manager. He then informed me that he was in a meeting. A meeting at 11pm? There’s literally no wifi at the property, I spoke to the manager many times regarding this and he just smiles and says there’s nothing he could do. I got frustrated and said that I’m not happy. The communication is non existent with the staff and there’s NO WIFI. They give the password for the hotel next door. Luckily I had family there so I was able to spend my day at that hotel rather than this one. It was a big FAT disappointment. There is no kitchen and they use a hotel room to cook breakfast. They started doing construction at 7:30am and funnily enough my room was the closest to it. My electricity cut out which is very normal in Zanzibar for power cuts but this power cut had lasted for over an hour and other amenities in the hotel aside from my room was working. It seemed like they had turned off my electricity while I was still in there. I called Paschal many times and messaged him to turn it back on but he didn’t answer and I waited for over 30 minutes before getting frustrated and leaving this hotel to go to where my family was staying. While speaking to Paschal face to face, it didn’t seem like a concern that I was being bothered by a few issues at the property which angered me further. I will be asking for a partial refund.

• Kříž (10/5): Amazing place with charming guest Pascal and amazing warmhearted staff. - The accomodation is really good, amazing place which is continualy evolving, very clean. Amazing guest Pascal who helped us with everything we needed and was really very charming. The staff is so friendly and always helping, they want you to feel the best possible. The nearest beach is 5 minute walk, if you want to try other beachces which we reccomend its not a problem with tuk-tuk everywhere here in Zanzibar.

Beach boys outside nearby / heavy ambient -not safe to travel alone -electricity goes out but comes back fairly quickly -I left a tip on the bed for whom was to clean my room, I was waiting down stairs for my taxi, I needed to use the restroom and I noticed the room was untouched from how I left it and the money was gone….. hm.. -asked reception for a taxi to Kendwa( $10 for a 15 minute drive seemed very steep)
• Nikola (10/5): A perfect holiday with great service and friendly people - The service is excellent, and the rooms appear brand new. There is a lovely garden with papaya trees and fragrant flowers. Such an oasis for a good night sleep and relaxation after a bussy beach life. Would definitely recommend it, and rate my stay 10+ if I could.
• Derek (10/5): Great place, staff and breakfast, can recommend! - Very lovely staff, the host Pascal was extremely accommodating, they also serve a lovely breakfast of fruits, omelette and toast/chapati which starts off the day on the right note… super clean property and one of the most modern rooms I have stayed in during our time in Kenya and Tanzania (for this price) - have no problem recommending the property! Internet not the best sometimes, maybe because our room was too far not sure, but didn’t dampen our stay, actually sometimes worked out better!
• Andrew (10/5): A great peaceful location with amazing team of staff - This is a great place to stay in a very quiet location and a short 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach and a 10 bike taxi to the busy town and nightlife areas The staff are excellent and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean I stayed for 10 nights and had a wonderful time, the breakfast is plentiful with fruits toast eggs tea and coffee I would recommend this hotel for it’s peaceful environment and amazing staff It wasn’t really an issue for me but the WiFi doesn’t really work but they assured me they are working on installing something better

The staff were kind and helpful, had a lovely breakfast and it also included free a washing machine which was a bonus. Despite being listed as "Beachfront" on Booking.com, the property is not directly on Nungwi beach, requiring a 15-20 minute walk with limited transport options. 2. Absence of a generator meaning that power outages can cause discomfort. 3. The bathroom drainage system could be improved. 4. No in-room clothing lockers are available.

He also escorted us to the closed beach access. The breakfast was very delicious with a large plate of fresh fruits. We really enjoyed our stay!
