• Sudasingha (10/5): It was a nice stay after all. - The bathroom was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The view was so good that I couldn't resist. The access road is a bit rough. Could have improved.

• Francesca (4/5): - Le camere erano ampie e ben arredate. Vista ok. Tutto il resto è scomodo e la struttura è ancora in corso di ristrutturazione o costruzione. La strada per arrivare era terribile e non asfaltata e le indicazioni erano assenti. Abbiamo avuto anche problemi con l’acqua (che non arrivava calda in tre delle quattro stanze prenotate e in mattinata e addirittura mancata). In una stanza il bagno era pieno di formiche giganti. Il personale non parla inglese. Quando siamo andati a pagare non è stato neanche possibile parlare col management (nè ci è stato dato il numero, quando chiesto, per fare le nostre rimostranze). Esperienza pessima.

• Ameen (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Dowa Elegance Resort in Ella was truly unforgettable. The resort provided the perfect blend of comfort, excellent service, and serene surroundings. One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinner that was specially arranged for us upon request, a truly authentic and flavorful experience. The location of the resort is absolutely stunning. Perched in the hills, it offers breathtaking views of the mountains and lush greenery, with a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay incredibly relaxing. Waking up to the mist-covered landscape and taking in the panoramic scenery of Ella was nothing short of magical. I highly recommend Dowa Elegance Resort to anyone visiting Ella. The combination of warm hospitality, natural beauty, and peaceful ambiance made it a standout part of our Sri Lankan journey.

• Tanya (9/5): Superb - It has a beautiful view. The rooms are huge and spacious and I loved the view you get sitting in your bed. The staff is friendly and nice. Breakfast has very limited options, especially for pure vegetarians

They provide breakfast and me being a vegetarian they customized the breakfast as per my choice which was really rewarding. I would recommend this property if staying in Ella. A lil off beat place, not near the nine arches bridge but the mountain views are exceptional. Must stay.

• Namrita (9/5): A beautiful, comfortable property - The view from the room is breathtaking. The place is quiet and serene. The staff is really sweet, helpful and professional. The beds are comfortable and washrooms are clean. The washrooms had a slight stale smell but overall everything was great. It's slightly far from Ella town but we had a car and driver so we didn't really mind. The view and property was worth the drive.

Room was clean and spacious with an ensuite bathroom equipped with amenities. Served fresh and delicious meals. Friendly and very supportive staff ready to serve you with best hospitality. Ideal place for a staycation of a couple and family friendly too.
• Marielle (10/5): Confortable place with terrace and amazing view - Very positive surprise when coming there after a bad experience in another hotel. The room is huge with a large area for the bed, a space for dressing and coffe/tea and another space for desk. The bathroom is clean and confortable. The private terrace is particularly big and offers an amazing view. Everything was perfect, the staff is very nice and food was excellent!

• Yasmeen (9/5): Marvelous views in Ella! - The room is spacious and beautiful! The location is stunning with amazing views all around. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, would definitely recommend. The location is a little confusing to reach and far from the city. Make sure you drive in with a Sri Lankan driver, particularly in the day light, because it’s easy to get lost. Also, because it’s in the middle of the mountain, there can be a lot of insects - come prepared.

The room is exceptional. All the facilities are there. The food is great. It’s a little away from Ella near Dowa. Directional boards not being there was a minus. Tuk tuk hotel transport is available but a small van would be better.

Can recommend for any one visiting the area. The directions and distance from Ella could have been better indicated. The location is really Dowa and not Ella. Other than that all is great.
