• Kuś (10/5): An exceptional stay in a peaceful, well-equipped home with an outstanding host. - We had an outstanding stay at this property and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Madeira. The location is truly exceptional — the house is nestled in the middle of a banana plantation, which makes it incredibly, private, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house itself is spacious and well-designed, spread across two floors, and was spotless upon arrival. Everything was very well maintained, from the comfortable beds to the clean and modern bathrooms. The property is fully equipped with everything you might need for both short and longer stays. One of the highlights is the beautiful terrace, which offers a great space to relax. The jacuzzi is fully functional and can be heated, making it perfect for evenings after a day of exploring the island. The location is also very convenient: the nearest beach is only about a 5-minute drive away, where you’ll find several excellent restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket for groceries. It’s also an ideal base for exploring Madeira, as most key attractions can be reached easily from here. A special mention goes to Gustavo, the host, who made our stay even more exceptional. He greeted us warmly on arrival, gave us a thorough tour of the house, and provided a very detailed and helpful guide to the island. He went above and beyond by assisting us with our luggage — even helping transport it to Funchal when we switched to a motorcycle and couldn’t carry everything ourselves. His hospitality, responsiveness, and willingness to help with anything truly made a difference. Easily one of the best hosts we’ve ever experienced. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations — 12/10. We would definitely stay here again!
• Lisa (8/5): Everything you need for a lovely stay in Calheta! - This accommodation is located in the hills and has a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding area. We loved having breakfast and a drink outside in the evening. The property is very spacious and well equipped for everything you need. Gustavo was also a great host! Unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t operating perfectly, but Gustavo explained to us how to fix it temporarily.

• Kirsten (9/5): - Zeer fijne plek met een prachtig uitzicht. Een wat gedateerde maar zeer complete keuken. Aandacht met oog voor detail, zoals wat wasmiddel voor de wasmachine, basis benodigdheden in de keuken voor koken zoals olijfolie peper en zout etc.

• Csaba (10/5): Exceptional host, perfectly equipped, comfortable house, beautiful scenery. Everything was perfect. - Gustavo is the most amazing host! He was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. He greeted us warmly, brought us fresh fruits, and gave us plenty of helpful information and great recommendations for exploring the island. We had a wonderful stay here. The house has an amazing sea view, and the porch was the perfect place to relax and even do some stargazing at night. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will come back to this wonderful island for sure, and would be happy to stay at Pana house again.
• jana (8/5): - Veľký a čistý apartmán s úžasnou terasou a úžasným výhľadom. Vírivka na terase nás potešila. Do mesta k reštauráciám a obchodom je to asi 15 minút pešo, ubytovanie sa však nachádza na obrovskom kopci. Pobyt sa nám páčil. Dobrá komunikácia s majiteľom. Vybavenie je trochu staršie, ale postačuje, nie je to prekážkou.

• Marco (8/5): - Dakterras uitzicht , beneden bewoners brachten lekkere vijgen s avonds wel erg gehorig beneden woont nog een aardig ouder stel met vaak bezoek .

• Diana (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf - Het is heel luxe met drie badkamers. De jacuzzi was ook favoriet bij de kinderen. De locatie was heel mooi, mooi uitzicht en niet te ver van het strand of andere dingen. Gustavo was erg vriendelijk en gaf ons veel reistips. De onderbuurvrouw en haar gezin zijn ook hele lieve mensen De keuken heeft een schuine muur, dus dat is wat lastiger als je lang bent, maar de kinderen hielpen graag met het pakken van borden en bestek.

• Julia (2/5): Furchtbar, sehr schlechte "Preis-Leistung Verhältnis"! - Die Aussicht war schön und das Haus sah von außen gut aus. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hatte viele Tips für Touristen. Es gab leider viele Sachen, die uns den Aufenthalt unangenehm gemacht haben: - Das Haus war innen stark verdreckt - Schimmel in jedem Bad - Inneneinrichtung teilweise defekt und sehr abgenutzt - WC-Spülung kaputt - Wirlpoll extrem abgenutzt und verdreckt, sodass man Angst hat sich eine Infektion zu holen. In den Wohnräumen standen mehrere automatische Toiletten-Duftsprays, die einen üblen Gestank überdecken sollen.
