Guest Reviews
- Oliver (10/5): -
- Monika (10/5): PPR dokonály pre relax - Strávili sme v hoteli PPR 9 nocí v Ocean Front room číslo 1225. Izba mala prvky Palauskej architektúry. Pôsobila príjemne a čisto. . Plážový servis a starostlivosť o pláž bola vynikajúca.
- Rawlins (10/5): - Location, staff, food were all phenomenal.
- Sanjay (9/5): - Has it's own beach, beautiful location, resort has lots of greenery, great spot for sunsets, very nice snorkelling from the beach. Rooms are a tad dated for the rate that you pay,
- Joseph (7/5): - View and rooms Food selection and quality
- Aleksandr (10/5): -
- Renae (10/5): -
- Jodie (9/5): Great location for a relaxing family holiday - Very clean and well maintained property. Location and setting was great. Staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem. Breakfast had a great variety. Meals were a little pricey
- Yulia (9/5): - Nice resort with its own sandy beach, restaurants and spacious territory. There is a dive shop and own jetty. Very comfortable
- Gavin (9/5): A delightful stay at the Palau Pacific Resort - We stayed in room 1214 for three nights which to us was about the right length of time for this vacation. It was an Ocean Front Room which was in a lovely quiet area of the resort with a gorgeous view across the waterfront. The beach had enough sun beds and water sports equipment for hire. The ocean was great to swim in, shallow up to the grasses and then the area for snorkelling is just beyond that. We used the restaurants and bars for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks and whilst they were quite expensive, we enjoyed the food and beverages on offer. I especially liked the Rock Island Bento and the mocktails. We did also head out to Taj Palau, which was a nice Indian restaurant with pick up and drop off service. The staff at the front desk did their best to accommodate and make our stay an enjoyable and pleasant one in spite of the issue listed below. I would strongly recommend you to book a flight on board Smile Air if you are a couple to see the Rock Islands from above, make sure you opt for the 40 minutes tour to see the Seventy Islands. You won’t be disappointed. There is a shop at the resort offering drinks and snacks as well as souvenirs. The hotel offers airport transfer service, but this is incredibly expensive. We paid just $40 for a ride from the airport on arrival. The hotel was quoting $200 for a private transfer. Also, $33 per person in a shared shuttle. The numbers don’t really add up. We had a bit of an issue in terms of booking a tour to the Rock Islands. There seemed to be no availability on the days we were staying at the resort. This caused some anxiety and frustration for all parties involved, but thankfully a simple solution was to just go to the splash dive centre at the resort to arrange the tour. The rooms themselves appear a bit dated upon arrival, but by deparature I found that the resort had its own unique charm and character in the Pacific for what was a very enjoyable holiday. One more thing was that the bed and pillows didn’t provide us with the best of sleeps. A bit too soft for our liking.
- Julien (10/5): - Just amazing
- YASUMASA (10/5): -
- Carla (10/5): Palau Pacific Resort - outstanding! - The Pacific resort was absolutely stunning in the most beautiful setting.
It exceeded our expectations.
The staff were very friendly & the facilities were great.
Our room was very spacious with our own balcony overlooking the ocean.
The breakfast buffet set us up for the day with tropical fruits & traditional breakfast offerings.
The dining room was very spacious & opened up to the beautiful beach. Nothing!
- Kei (7/5): -
- Yifan (9/5): -
- Adam (10/5): Can't fault the customer service! - We could not fault the service. The staff were extremely attentive from the moment we arrived until the day we left, from the front desk, bar, pool, maintenance etc, all were keen to help with anything.
The room was an ok size and had a nice view, gardens were well kept and the gernal facilities were good. The price was a little on the heavy side but I guess we were paying for faultless customer service.
Would be good if guests had access a proper heating clothes dryer as the humidity can make air drying difficult a d the spining dryer at the pool didn’t quite cut it.
- TOMOKO (9/5): -
- Robert (9/5): -
- Karl Markus (9/5): Ein nachhaltig positives Erlebnis.
- Herbert (7/5): - Location was great, the hotel is a bit outdated. A bit old
- Saori (8/5): Great vacation - General manager was very friendly and caring.
Hotel has a Nature Center which is great program , which teaches us the importance of life and nature!! Pool staffs ( towel rent) were not respecting natural life…so I reported to the general manager
- Yoshio (9/5): -
- Neile (9/5): Wonderful stay in Palau! - Palau is a diver's paradise. If everyone you are with is a diver, what you pay for the room may not make sense since the great location, beautiful grounds & nice facilities of PPR may be underutilized, but the non-divers loved it.
- Maiki (8/5): -
- JongHwa (10/5): -
- Ofer (8/5): overall i enjoyed my stay in PPR - Beach was very good nice and clean. room was OK but little far from lobby. breakfast was OK but to get a good esspresso
you have to pay extra. Espresso machine in the room would be helpful, room service after 21:00 will help too, people can be hungry after 21:00.
- W (5/5): -
- James (5/5): - Pool gym Lots of rats running around. Poor service from staff
- Janina (7/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): - Location, beach, garden, beds Room smelled like someone had previously smoked in room.
Buffet breakfast no gf bread pastries
- Adriano (9/5): Posto paradisiaco - La location è stupenda
- Grzegorz Dariusz (8/5): It is nice place for 2-3 days holiday. - Helpful and friendly staff. Cleanliness. Nice beach and swimming pool. The distance from the down town. Little bit boring place after 2 days staying. Everything very expensive.
- Wojciech (9/5): Najlepszy hotel w całym Państwie :) - Hotel przepięknie położony, z piękną plażą i rafą koralową dostępną bezpośrednio z brzegu. Przepiękne zachody słońca. Pokoje położone w doskonale utrzymanym tropikalnym ogrodzie.
- Philip (8/5): Private and far from city center, clean but facilities showing age, pricey! - Beach was clean and private. Quiet atmosphere. Location is more out of the main city but local restaurant offer pick up and drop off service. For the price of the room, beach or activity equipment charges should have been included, renting paddle board for 10$ an hour made hotel seems to over charging and less value. Drinks were also excessive in price, we would have use the Hotel F&B more if prices were more reasonable.
- Neil (8/5): Idyllic & beautiful location, very good facilities. - Beautiful & quiet property. Friendly staff.
Able to walk into the sea & snorkel right off the beach with abundant marine life.
We never saw more than 8 people in the water at any one time or more than 20 people in the numerous cabanas & deck chairs on the beach. Wine was extremely expensive at the hotel. An average bottle of Pinot Grigio was more than US$60 in the hotel. The exact same bottle cost US$17 in the local supermarket.
- Malgorzata (6/5): Luxury prices, but nothing close to a luxury service level - The beach and location are fantastic. The room is a decent size, plenty of space for 2 bags and a family of 3. The staff at the activity center were really nice too. The beds were comfortable. The service level was not close to what we would expect at this price point. When we checked in, there was no help with bags even though parking was 100m away and we were on the 2nd floor. At breakfast there was no caffeinated black tea (for days as other guests complained) and there was nothing the staff did about it. they just said that was all they had (there is a store 5min down the road). The coffee was diner style on a hot plate and burnt, but if you wanted to pay an extra $8 usd, on top of the $35 usd pp for breakfast, you could have a cappuccino. Service at the bar was slow, if anyone was there at all. And breakfast was meh. We didn’t eat dinner there given the service level we experienced and the astonishing prices. They would forget to update the tea and coffee in the room too. Just a bunch of little things that by no means ruined the trip, but made it feel like we were cheated a bit. Please improve your staff training. This is a luxury resort you are running.
- Hana (9/5): - The hotel is not a luxurious resort, it is of a pleasant standard, however its location is amazing both above and below the water, the view is great, the reef in the bay is great and it is a good location for going on tours.
The staff is very pleasant and welcoming.
Anyone who comes here should also leave time to spend time on the beach. Snorkeling is highly recommended in the hotel's bay. The mattresses in the rooms are really uncomfortable. I could feel every spring. The food is mediocre.
- Kai-Uwe (8/5): -
- Nicolas (8/5): - Location on the beach, beautiful for sunsets Felt like any other nice resort and could have been any beach front location. Much more expensive than other places on the island. But if you don't rent a car, this is the right place.
- Jamie (9/5): Kudos to the staff, especially Ilang the receptionist - Good location, excellent staff. Restaurant food was a little pricey and not as good as it could be.
- Mark (10/5): weather was not perfect, but with a private villa and pool, good internet and friendly staff "Voila" - position was perfect.
pool villa for a family of 4 is adequet.
friendly staff ready to accomadate you at any time. more diverse menus.
parking access for pool villas needs to be upgraded.
- George (8/5): - Beach ,reef, food , and environment was excellent Value for money and service is 4 stars
- Norbert Somerset (9/5): - Super freundliches Personal. Lage paradiesisch, nicht überlaufen. Toller Strand fußläufig vom Zimmer. Gutes Essen und kalte Getränke. Sehr teuer aber verständlich für die Lage. Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen
Sehr kleine Räume.
- Hiroshi (10/5): -
- Tammy (2/5): -
- Anna (8/5): -
- Jean-Pierre (10/5): Cool - X X
- Ally (10/5): Beautiful spot with views of the sunset, nice pool and spa and friendly staff - beautiful pool and beach
- Alexander (5/5): -
- John (10/5): Paradise - Beautiful property with amazing staff. Excellent snorkeling off the beach at the hotel which is a huge plus!
- Steven (9/5): -
- Gao (5/5): 3* accommodation 5* prices - Beach Value for money, Rooms, Organization
- Gao (5/5): 3* hotel for a 5* price -
- Mrinalini (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jiri (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location on the beach, superb snorkeling from the beach, very good food (but not cheap...) and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Price is on the higher end.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing breakfast, great rooms, the whole hotel is full of nature and green. The beach is clean, the staff is very polite and helpful, we've had an amazing stay.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): Great location for a beachside stay in Palau - The location is excellent with a great beach out front with nice swimming and snorkelling over a good coral reef. It is a nice and relaxed location, with excellent service from all of the staff - attentive, welcoming and very helpful. Had a ocean view room with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and beach. Food varied in quality but generally good, and a nice beachside bar, particularly to enjoy the evening sunsets. Used the fitness centre and this was quite well outfitted. We dived most days and was great to be able to picked up on the hotel pier for our trips - very convenient. Noting that Palau generally seems to still be recovering from COVID, with tourism numbers struggling, we felt that the hotel was feeling quite tired. Last visited 15 years ago and although there has been the addition of the overwater bungalows, things generally had not changed and some more maintenance was needed. It is an expensive hotel by Palau standards and does not quite deliver value for money. It would also have been helpful if the hotel ran some shuttle services of a night time into town - the hotel is quite a way from downtown and other dining places - but we did find the taxis to be pretty reliable and quick.
- Linh (9/5): Superb -
- Felix (8/5): Nice hotel, but too expensive for what it is. -
- Johan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ana (10/5): Location and relaxing environment - Stunning location. Very relaxing. All staff were really nice, particularly Teruo, who went with me snorkeling and on a nature walk and told me about the vegetation, birds and past and present of Palau. Food acceptable for the context. The corals in the hotel area are mostly bleached, very sad. Still, you can see some marine life. This should not be a downside, especially for divers who will be going elsewhere.
- Leroi (8/5): Very good -
- Ellie (8/5): Great location but expensive - The beach front was amazing, the sunset view was amazing, staff wonderful very friendly The selection at breakfast wasn't amazing, and honestly the hotel was very expensive for the size of the room
- Martyn (9/5): The best place to stay in Palau - All perfect, staff friendly and so easy to do anything. Pick up jetty for day trips and diving Nothing
- Tahnee (9/5): Stunning sunset views - A beautiful resort with fantastic service and unbeatable sunsets! There are plenty of activities at your fingertips. It was the best buffet breakfast we experienced in Palau. I suffer from a mould illness and was delighted to see an air purifier in the room. Highly recommend heading to the spa for a Balinese massage! The rooms were a little lower quality than you’d expect for the price, but the property facilities made up for it.
- Jose (8/5): Very good - on first of January, it took 2 h to serve the dinner after ordering, and it didn't come as requested
- Blackeyepea (9/5): Palau Pacific paradise - Lovely facilities, fabulous private reef for swimming and snorkelling. The food at the restaurants is good and cocktails are delicious.
The friendly professional staff are helpful and will help with organising tours, transfers, and anything else you need. Leaving.
- Daniel (9/5): Excellent choice for relaxing vacation with great beach, pool, snorkeling, food and sunset views - Food was superb. The Beach had excellent snorkeling with gorgeous giant clams. Sleeping was great as mattresses were high quality. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sunset views outstanding. Some of property becoming dated, but upgrades are ongoing. Too far to walk to town so need a car if that is important.
- Brenna (10/5): Great location, facilities and staff. Highly recommend! - Absolutely beautiful, clean, awesome hospitality Just tell me where the designated smoking areas are so I’m not hunting
- Joan (9/5): Superb -
- Joan (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Basilio (7/5): na - The location of the property and the beach front. The staff services are excellent The accommodation rate is quite pricey in contrast to the size of the room and the resorts facilities
- Laurence (10/5): We had a very good time. It was the off season so excursions had to be arranged in advance. - The beach was fabulous. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very good
- Clayton (10/5): Absolutely incredible, we bonded as a family and were able to take this time to relax and recharge. - Perfectly located on its very own private beach, the views of the sunset and layout of the property made it very appealing and attractive to sit outside and truly relax. From the moment we opened our eyes, we had a spectacular view of the ocean, private jetty and the lush greenery. The property was very well maintained and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were always greeted and made to feel welcome. The food was great and we loved that breakfast was included in our stay. Travelling with 2 small children was seamless during our stay. We absolutely cannot wait to come back. Everything was just what we needed.
- Michelle (8/5): This is an amazing location, and I love staying here - Right on an amazing beach Older, slow service.
- Arnold (9/5): Superb - Great beach. Beautiful sunsets.
- Robert (10/5): Nice hotel in paradise, definitely recommended - Beautiful hotel, stylish cottages connected by wooden walkways, garden full of tropical plants and flowers, bright and clean rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant and swimming pool with jacuzzi, beautiful beach with a coral reef
- Ryan (10/5): I will definitely go back - will tell my friends about our excellent experience - The location was excellent, right on the water. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. The facilities were straight-forward and not over-done. Perfect for a casual, relaxed get away. Nice snorkeling just off the beach. Comfortable pool with great sunsets. Enjoyed the frogs on the walk to our room. We ate at the hotel five nights and almost exhausted the restaurant menu (with a family of four). We ordered a tropical fruit platter and received three types of melon and an orange - I was hoping for papaya, pineapple, mango, and banana. Says a lot if that's the biggest gripe I have...
- Ton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (6/5): Pleasant - The resort was very clean and peaceful. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The buildings/ rooms are very outdated and need to be updated. The ocean front rooms are very expensive and for the price you pay, you'd expect them to be in better condition.
- David (8/5): Very good -
