• Quinton (9/5): Lovely and neat - We had a lovely stay, the place is peaceful and neat with stunning views, close to the ocean. The hostess is very helpful and kind.
• Chants11 (4/5): Disappointing stay despite good reviews - We booked this place based on its excellent reviews, which gave us zero hesitation, and the location was good. I also have to mention that the response from the booking contact was very quick and apologetic when we raised issues, and they moved my husband to another unit the next day, which we appreciated. Once some things were sorted, the original unit was cleaner and more presentable. Unfortunately, the stay did not start well. My husband arrived first and found the unit infested with tiny cockroaches, with tiles and building offcuts lying around, clearly showing work had been done. There was also a broken bedside lamp with exposed wires, which was a safety concern for our 20-month-old toddler. The unit we were moved to also had a few issues that needed attention, like kitchen stacking doors that couldn’t open (a key appear to have broken off inside the lock), a broken downstairs toilet seat, a loose one upstairs, and a shower door that didn’t open until my husband fixed it himself. When we moved back to the original unit, although it was cleaner, there were still several problems. The kettle was heavily scaled and unusable, so we had to boil water on the stove for hot drinks and baby bottles. Basic self-catering items were lacking or broken, like the can opener, and there were no proper utensils like tongs for a braai. Later, the WiFi router was missing so we used the one from next door, one of the shower doors downstairs was gone, and the upstairs bathroom had no door handle. During the second week, it became extremely hot, and with no aircon or even a fan, it was very uncomfortable to sleep, especially for our toddler. Overall, while staff were responsive, the lack of maintenance, broken items, and missing essentials made the stay disappointing compared to the expectations set by the reviews.

• Deon (6/5): A bit dissapiointing - The view is fantastic and close to the beach. The unit needs a fair bit of maintenance, also some items one would expect was missing or not working or in good condition.
• Venter (4/5): Disappointing - Beautiful view, comfortable and centralized. Very beautiful units need a bit of love and care. Bad smell when entering the unit, limited plug for charging of devices, no suitable plugs in rooms for bed lamps, light in hallway dead, blanket on double bed down stairs have a hole and BBQ not clean. Lacking cooling systems, for example, fans and dust blocks against east wind weather.

• Fenni (9/5): It was lovely!! Thank you for your hospitality. - Very lovely place, the hostess was exceptionally friendly. We truly enjoyed our visit and will certainly come back. The weather requires a drying machine. It is not convenient to wash clothing there.

• Alwyn (9/5): Overall, it was great to stay at Cutty Sak. - It's a good size house with plenty of room, and all that is needed is there. great view over the ocean from the patio and kitchen. There is a water leak under wash bin, had to dry every time under the bin after dishes were wash. Garage for this place did not work, did not open and its location is too far from the house on the outside of the premises.

• Priscilla (8/5): The best stay we had so far!!! - We loved the house it was exactly as we wanted, the sea view and the area the house was situated in, was picturistic, the peace and tranquility was to die for, definitely we will book again and again!!!! Maybe the owners can think of adding a multichoice package because the wifi had issues and the telescope we could not operate, maybe a guide on how to use it. The wash machine did not dry the clothes we washed maybe look into that.

Lilly was patient and helped where ever she could. We had the best weather. So the location was perfect. It's not that we didn't like it. But the WiFi was not great.

Clean of the complex. Friendly and flexible host. The TV is outdated, needs a upgrade to flat screen 55-60 inch TV. Wifi connectivity is very slow for streaming movies/Netflix, the apartment needs a proper WiFi upgrade to a fast connection.
