De cottage op zich is leuk om in te verblijven, voorzien van alles wat nodig is. Spijtig genoeg konden we maar 3 dagen blijven maar we hebben van die 3 dagen echt genoten. Als je een plaats zoekt met rust en stilte, moet je hier zeker een verblijf boeken.

Georgia (7/5): - We liked having a verandah and outdoor furniture, and appreciated the quiet location. We loved the drive in to Willow Springs too. We were three adults and the cabin was small. The little bunk room was quite cramped. I think ideally we would have wanted more space and two separate bedroom spaces and a bathroom that wasn’t attached to one bedroom. However, we got by reasonably well.
carol (10/5): - The location was on a real working farm in a beautiful rural setting. You need to drive through an interesting creek bed area to get there, so quite secluded. The Governesses Cottage was cosy but adequate for our 2 night stay There was good air-conditioning that we needed. Very near to Stokes Lookout. Don't miss it, it is stunning. You had to watch your head on the bunks! (They are triple)!

Lorraine (10/5): Stunning accommodation in a stunning location - a great base for exploring this remarkable area! - What a gorgeous setting - the view from our Jillaroo's hut/cabin was superb! Good privacy too huts and other accommodation was well spread out and not laid out on a boring grid pattern. Wonderful manager! The family obviously take great pride in their station and the accommodations provided - and well deserved. A really informative booklet about the property and area was provided in our hut. Great range of accommodation types and prices. The fire pit and bbq were real bonuses - we used both. Comfortable bed. Dog friendly. Not much to dislike about this property but we found the height of the lower bunk was awkward to use because it was raised to accommodate the dog bed.

Gadd (8/5): Willow Springs is highly recommended. - Loved the location and the beautiful setting on arrival. The Governess Cabin was the just right for myself and my adult son. We felt very much welcomed at Reception and appreciated the suggestions about things to do nearby. We also enjoyed walking around the Willow Springs property. The air conditioner in the cabin was slow to respond. Perhaps it needs a service? In the middle of the freezing night I couldn't get it to warm the air.

The beds are super comfortable. The fireplace added a warm, cozy touch to our evenings, and the fire pit was a highlight for the whole family. George (staff) gave us great touring info that help us see more than we originally planned. The unit is well set up. A dispenser of spring water, BBq. The camp kitchen & laundry facility excellent. It was well setup for a furry friend. We didn’t have one. So convenient to Wilpena , the National Park & Stokes Hill lookout. Thank you Skytrek . 'we chose wisely'

Christine (10/5): Fabulous - red dirt and all!! - Being able to experience “the land” - red dirt and all!! We stayed in the Overseer’s Cottage for four nights. Needed that amount of time to explore the Flinders. The cottage had everything to be self contained. Make sure you bring enough supplies for your stay. Directions were spot on for arrival. We felt SkyeTrek to be very central and a better area than others if wanting to drive to Blinman and Parachilna (to experience feral dining)! We highly recommend Skytrek.

Paulina (7/5): Enjoyable experience of an outback station - We liked the area where the station was located. Interesting walks were possible within the boundary of the station. The cabin we stayed in had enough rooom to accommodate two people, although it could sleep five. There was a small table with chairs inside and also an outdoor one on a deck, next to a gas BBQ. Kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery. Small TV was there and also an old aircon unit. Fire pit was prepared in case we wanted to have a bon fire. The owner was very friendly and helpfull. Cabin looked old and tired, in need of some attention. All the taps were old, mouldy and leaking (which was very annoying especially at night time). Shower head could not be adjusted.

The host was exceptionally friendly and obliging. I felt it was a little pricey given the facilities and the distance from Wilpena Pound. Some of the kitchen items need updating eg. wobbly handle on skillet, chipped crockery.

Del (10/5): Extraordinary and a great place to experience the wonders of Mother Nature - Breathtaking scenery and rock formations throughout this area of the Flinders Ranges with magnificent Eucalypts. Very peaceful with many stunning areas to visit even for a few hours or days. All set against the backdrop of the Flinders Ranges this entire area is incredibly beautiful. We stayed at Willow Springs in the Governess Cabin which although small was reasonably well equipped It's about 22m2 with an undercounter fridge bearly adequate when you have to take all provisions. Very helpful at checkin with much helpful information on the recommended trips and things to do and see. Leaking dripping taps urgently need repair
Robbie (10/5): Peaceful, great 4wd track, feeding birds by hand over breakfast, fantastic staff - Made our own breakfast I'm 6'2 and the bed in the Governess cabin was short, no real big deal.
