• Kayla (7/5): Gorgeous views and comfortable stay after our long KIWT walk. The Cabyn needs maintenance and a good clean and the owner - The views are incredible. The windows offer seamless beautiful outlook during our stay. Loved the view from the sauna watching the wildlife hop by. The sauna was a highlight and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the thoughtful touches such as complimentary local KI produce and coffee etc. There are some maintenance issues that deserve attention, given the bespoke/luxury stay advertised. The bathroom doors don’t close properly and I suspect one is off its hinges. Surely that would be obvious to the staff maintaining the building. The fridge was not clean, the freezer grotty. The smell coming from it made us not want to use it at all. We suggest some better signage for walking paths and a decent map to show walking trails.
• Anthony (9/5): Romance, solitude, ambience are the words that come to mind - Driving into the property gave us a feeling of excitement. Seeing the cabins, the surrounds and the ocean was overwhelming. The cabin itself was wonderful, bbq was very welcomed, as we ate outside every night. It was magical. Could be cleaner, but other than that, it was perfect.
• Neil (9/5): Amazing secluded getaway luxury stay. - Location, privacy, quality of fixtures were all exceptional. Fantastic place for a romantic getaway. Great welcome package as well. Couldn’t lock the doors, only one side of the 4 slice toaster worked. This is for feedback only, we had an amazing time we really couldn’t fault it.

• Chtaneva (10/5): - This was an incredible “one in a life” experience! 100% worth the price. It was so peaceful and confortable. Kangaroos came very close. The beach was beautiful! We spent 2 nights in flinders chase and 2 nights here and it was a perfect combination to discover the KI.

• Heather (10/5): Incredible set up in an jaw dropping location - Beautiful location.Luxurious fittings, equipment, bedding etc. A really get away from it all experience . Kangaroos easily visible around 6pm and from early in the morning as the sun came up. Nothing Wished we could have stayed longer than 1 night.

• Barbara (10/5): - I stayed at CABN Kangaroo Island with my sister. The location is stunning, and the accomodation had everything we needed. The preordered food was there on arrival. We enjoyed the wildlife (kangaroos, ibis and more...). Very quiet and relaxing and a lovely beach only a short walk away. Perfect if you wish to switch off for a few days. I enjoyed the sauna with a view. N/A

Access to private safe swimming beach on property was unbelievable. Also to be able to go to small lighthouse that is also on the property was great.
• Mathias (7/5): Gewollt, aber nicht gekonnt! - Schön abgelegene CABN; outdoor Wanne ist super; Sauna ist okay; Personal freundlich, alle Informationen werden zeitnah über Mail übergeben. Leider hat die Klima nicht funktioniert; die CABN war sehr staubig; und insgesamt nicht sehr sauber; in der Sauna lagen viele tote Fliegen und Motten, diese mussten wir vor Nutzung zunächst beseitigen. Kleine Espressomaschine defekt, das Wasser läuft dort aus. Der Weg zur Kabine 2 Km über stark unbefestigte Straße. Für diesen Preis haben wir aufjedenfall mehr erwartet.

Someone’s water bottle was left between the curtin and beside table and one of the wine glasses had a crack in it which we discovered while setting up the space

• Craig (10/5): A magical mix of serenity, natural beauty and wildlife for pure entertainment pleasure! - The vista was stunning and only surpassed by the wildlife. Wallabies and Kangaroo play every morning and evening and the quiet and serenity are unmatched. Very efficiently laid out and the sauna and baths were a special treat.

В самом домике есть всё, что нужно для проведения выходных: барбекю, сауна, кухня, ванная, удобная мебель и, что самое главное, восхитительный вид на Индийский океан. К вечеру также появляются кенгурушки. 😀 Спасибо большое владельцам и персоналу за такие эмоции. Я отметил свой день рождения в идеальном месте. ❤️

When driving past the other ones as you need too you can see people in their out door baths which is a problem for them Bbq didn’t work No steak knife’s and had to use cheese knife to cut steak. • Charlotte (8/5): It was relaxing and a beautiful spot for a secluded stay. - View was amazing and cabin felt luxurious. It was starting to show its age and was in need of a deeper clean with dust next to the beds and the bathroom sink showing some build up of gunk. The provided body wash and dishwashing soap appeared to have been watered down.

• Liu (10/5): Memorial stay for a honneymoon trip - The experience is so amazing! Perfect location of a retreat with stunning views, especially love the outdoor tub perfect to watch a sunset from there overlooking the ocean as well with kangaroos around.. The cabin feels so private, the fireplace and the skylight are a nice touch. The sauna was amazing with window facing the bushes, you could see kangaroos hopping around. The place might be a bit difficult to find esp if you check in late and the road leading into it is not the best..No reception so in case you needa contact a staff it could take a while..but I didnt encounter any issues and everything was smooth and perfect

Slow response from host, when asked about sauna, misunderstood issue then when i said probably due to the cold weather, there was no response, felt like they knew it didnt work when cold. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows.

• Sarah (10/5): Relax and unwind in this off grid paradise! - Most incredible accommodation I have ever stayed in! We never wanted to leave. The views, facilities and kangaroos hopping around us just made this the most unforgettable stay. This is a must do for anyone visiting the beautiful Kangaroo Island! Nothing!

The way to the cabins gets extremely bizzare and eerie if you are checking in late … we had taken the evening ferry from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw and it got quite late to reach … the roads were so so empty and it was quite a tense moment to find out the cabin at night with the given details in WhatsApp 2. There’s no Reception to take the keys from or no one to help u out to find the cabin location if you’re checking in late … you are all on your own… though the thought is lovely… but if you are travelling from another country with your wife (Thank God we didn’t take the kids) … after dark, u are on ur own … They should have someone to guide you to just give the sense of reassurance

Very relaxing stay when we weren’t exploring th - Peaceful and luxurious Nowhere to store suitcases so we were stepping over them a lot. Fan in the bathroom not sufficient to handle the steam. Makes everything in the cabin wet. Dishwashing liquid not very efficient. Washed dishes leave a film. A couple of the lights not working.

Bei uns hat die Heizung nicht ganz richtig funktionniert daher wurde es immer wieder kalt. Da die Leute selbst spülen war das Geschirr leider nicht richtig sauber.

• HengJhen (9/5): We love everything, however they can’t reply email at check in period it can be annoying - The view from the room is amazing morning, afternoon and at night, love the indoor fireplace and sauna too. Kitchen is gas cooktop and even offer olive oil, very convenient to cook some simple meals. Totally staff less, I check in and find out there’s some water pouring down on the floor and email them at 5pm but getting respond back at morning the other day at 8, and they just said thanks for telling them. Thankfully it’s just some water on the floor that we can clean by ourselves but if there’s something broken and can really affect your stay, will be kinda annoying if no one’s replying your email asap. Also the crow will knock on your window for no reason everyday at 6am, just need to make some move and they will stop, however it happens everyday, and there are some bird poop outside on the deck floor.

• Jade_green (9/5): - 文明と乖離された空間での1日は素晴らしかった。 見えるのは海と草原とカンガルーや鳥たちだけで素晴らしい経験でした。 夜は満点の星空！都会では決して味わえない空間を満喫しました。ホットタブもベランダと室内の両方にあり、ゆったりくつろげました。サウナもカンガルー親子を見ながらのんびり楽しみました。最高！ 車で行くしか交通手段がないのは、この体験のためには仕方ないと思います。 外のBBQコンロの使い方がわからず、結局部屋のキッチンで調理しました。 チェックインもチェックアウトもセルフなのですが、数時間前にメールで連絡が来るので、それまではインターネットがつながるところに居る必要があります。
• Jed (10/5): Incredible spot for an amazing short getaway to explore KI - Amazing secluded location but only 25 minutes to Penneshaw for cafes and pub. Quality fit out in Cabn and sauna was great, as was the outdoor tub. Limited storage for suitcases etc.

• SM (6/5): Great location to start our honeymoon, just would’ve loved to arrive to a cleaner space to kick it off on the right foot - Loved the views and the outdoor bath! Was secluded and had privacy. Loved having lots of towels! The extra food touches were great too! The CABN wasn’t very clean upon arrival. We had to vacuum it, wipe down the stove and benches. The light (fan) above the bed was also not working. The zero co is no longer a brand so you will need to update your compendium & potentially add some check out instructions/rubbish removal.

• Rachael (10/5): We will be back! Relax and rewind while enjoying the views! - We had the best holiday at the cabin's! We both work hard and we left feeling extremely rested and relaxed we ever felt after a holiday. The wildlife was so close and it was extremely quiet. Even with the drought, we found the area was lovely especially watching the sunsets and storms roll in. The facilities were clean and tidy. The bed was soooo comfortable and all the finishing touches were a bonus ie sauna, outdoor bath and BBQ Nothing we didnt like

• Eeva (10/5): Memorable, wonderful stay in a beautiful spot. Perfect. - CABN is a very special place! We absolutely loved our two-night stay. The location is quiet and a bit remote, which we loved. There are only five or six cabins on the property, and they are very spread out, so you have a lot of privacy. The views are amazing, the wildlife plentiful, and the cabin is very well thought out with lovely touches. We made sure to come back to the cabin well before sunset after exploring the amazing island, just to make sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the cabin, the surroundings, and once the sun started getting lower on the horizon, take in the views from the deck with the many kangaroos and wallabies who came right around the cabin. We also absolutely loved having the sauna with the picture window, and used it both nights. And, the night sky is truly amazing with absolutely no light pollution. All in all, a very special and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

• Anita (9/5): Loved it! Highlight of our SA trip. Kangaroo Island is such a great location to visit and the CABN X accommodation was t - Scenery was amazing. Fun watching the wallabies and wildlife around. The cabin is stylish and so lovely to stay in. The delicious wine, olives and popcorn was a welcome treat. Great BBQ and cooking facilities, and having a coffee machine with the milk frother is perfect. Only very minor and didn’t detract from our stay: Floors a bit sandy, and a few dead insects around. Chipped bowl and pepper shaker needed refilling. We hadn’t realised a large milk was provided so brought our own.
• Lucie (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was located in such a beautiful area with the most amazing views. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with kangaroos around us. The cabin was well equipped and had everything we needed and more! It's a perfect place to relax and have some quality time. Everything was great. Only 2 little details : the control panel for the sauna was in Dutch and it took us a little while to find the language set-up 😀 and the Bluetooth speaker had no battery so we couldn't use it in the sauna.

It’s incredibly expensive for what you get and we were a little disappointed with it overall. All the kitchen utensils / cookware were incredibly dirty and we had to wash everything before using. We also think it would be better to have a table and chair outside so that you can sit and eat.

It is in a very remote location and getting around to other parts of the island took a lot of driving. The cabn is not big so don’t overpack!
• Rachel (6/5): Not worth the money - The location was great, the bed was comfortable and the wildlife was abundant. The privacy was not as advertised, we had a clear view inside other CABN's when the blinds were not shut. The bathtub was also in clear view of the driveway which everyone uses to exit the property. There were hand print marks in the shower as well as smear marks on the glass doors from someone's finger. The vinyl was peeling off the walls in some spots and the fridge space is not a lot for a long stay. The roads are not very suitable for cars that are not 4WD and it does take a while to drive to any tourist hot spots.

• Donna (9/5): Great place to relax and enjoy. Loved staying here. Will be back - The location was excellent. The facilities were so good loved the bath on the balcony. Was so cosy with the fire on. Very private and great walks around and wildlife. The cabin was so well appointed. The bed was a bit hard for me and needs some luggage space
