- Sara (10/5): Above and beyond! - We had a very comfortable night at Lala Mundi and owner John was incredibly kind to us. We were cycling round the island and my husbandâs bike chain broke a few miles from Brading. John came out in his van and picked him and the bike up. This + help from a local bike shop meant that we were able to continue our journey. Thank you so much John!
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Muaaz (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable, very clean, the bed is great. It was ok for us but the very steep, shallow stairs up to the top floor could be a problem for some.

Lots of nice little touches like tea coffee milk croissants and bottled water.towels ,soap and shower gel shampoo were all provided to use if needed.John gave good clear instructions when we arrived as to where I room was.The grounds of the house are really nice and the seating area was lovely to sit out in the evening with lots of pretty solar lights.we were also upgraded at no extra cost to a ensuite room which made our stay even more enjoyable. - Will (10/5): Lovely Lala Mundi - Such a friendly welcome, lovely room with lots of character, didn't feel rushed, secluded, quiet and pleasant garden where we could eat. - Catherine (9/5): Value for money, lots of lovely details to make it a comfortable stay. Thank you - Easy to find
Good directions
Friendly host
Very clean
Comfortable bed The other door in our shared bathroom had a private door and I was a bit worried as I thought someone may of come in while I was using it
- Rose (9/5): Very welcoming, beautiful and cosy. - The bed was very comfortable and we felt very relaxed staying in the room and using the bathroom and kitchen facilities. We were impressed by the decorations in the property and very happy to receive fresh milk and snacks during our stay. It was also easy to get access to the bus and restaurants nearby. It was a bit confusing finding our way to the correct entrance and room of the property, and although the directions were quite clear, it would have been easier for us to know where to go in advance.
- Alexander (8/5): Quirky place to stay. - The facilities in the room were great. It was very hot when we stayed and the room already had a fan which was definitely needed and allowed a great night's sleep. This is an old building, and some stairs are pretty steep with small steps. Just be aware as some may find this difficult. Just a listed building quirk, but that was the only issue I found.
- Tim (8/5): Convenient, homely, interesting stay in a surprisingly historic place with bonus blue vineyard - Lovely eclectic property and relaxing garden.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Tyler (10/5): Exceptional - Was completely blown away with the decor and amazing it was. Something new caught my eye each time I entered the foyer or walked in the back garden. So much to look at. Looks like a beautiful collection that mustâve taken years to accumulate but definitely worth it!!! so many different types of art!!! Was and still am speechless. litterly nothing was to dislike!!
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - Great setting with really friendly staff. Would be nice to have option of breakfast being provided
- Ravi (9/5): Superb - Awesome Everything
- Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful, memorable - especially thanks to John's amazing hospitality. - John is an amazing host, and he had everything covered. Before we arrived, he had clear concise instructions, complete with pictures, on how to locate the home, park, and enter. He was very understanding when we had to arrive later than our check-in time, and graciously provided comforts that meant so much to us weary travelers. We thoroughly enjoyed our long walks to the beaches. We stayed two nights total, but we would love to return someday and spend more time, especially in the charming garden out back. We so appreciated how wonderfully welcome John made us feel.
- Gary (9/5): Served a purpose - It was friendly and quiet Shared bathroom
- Josh (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (9/5): Comfortable and quiet. - Super comfy bed.

The place is beautiful, our bedroom was stunning and immaculately clean. The entire house is decorated superbly. N/A
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional - A characterful property - spotlessly clean and comfortable. I had a lovely view out into the peaceful garden.
A warm welcome too.
- Carrie (9/5): Excellent little find! - bedroom was huge, big comfortable bed, interesting decor - lots of things to look at. Very clean, really friendly owner, sky TV, gardens would be beautiful in the sun (sadly it was raining when we were there). It's a bit of a walk from car to the room which would have been lovely in nice weather. things to know:
it's a very tight drive into the parking area, but with can be done even with a large SUV.
The steep staircase is very steep, just something to be aware of. It's a shared bathroom, again just be aware of that.
We had to remove shoes at the main front door which wasn't a problem for us but some people may not be comfortable with that.
BUT these are very minor things, definitely not deal-breakers and totally manageable, overall was really lovely
- Plamen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maulik (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you very much for hosting us John, your place is lovely
- Dylan (9/5): Wonderful place with great host. - Very quirky fun decor, feels like you have stepped off the planet. The garden is lovely and quiet and the rooms are comfy and clean. The host was really helpful and stayed up to let us in at 1am after IOW festival without any fuss. The off road parking is pretty tight if you have a big car, narrow gateway.

Host was charming, providing details for parking and checking we were comfortable throughout our stay. Stairs to second floor were a challenge after a recent hip operation though I understand a second bannister rail is due to be fitted which I am sure will help. I thought breakfast was included so hadnât prepared- an error on the website.

- Antonio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenn (10/5): Welcoming and beautiful - Clean and warm Nothing
- Nazes (10/5): Excellent stay there. - A huge and comfortable room. Just opposite to the bus stop in the village. So easy to reach. Instructions were clear. They even agreed to an early check out. John gave me information about how to reach the RSPB marshes where I was intending to do some bird watching and photography. A couple of pubs nearby where there was home cooked meals. Nothing as such. A sign post with the name of the guesthouse on the main door will be useful. I suggested that to John and he said he's about to put it there.

https://instagram.com/pure_cuisineculture?igshid=5dz46v6u85st I would say location as there is nothing much around, but you have good bus service available on island or if you have car, it would be advisable to explore island.
