Guest Reviews
- Acaster (8/5): Clean and well presented one bedroom apartment well located for the facilities within Crieff. - Convenient for the town centre so an easy access for pubs and restaurants. Private off street parking warm and clean. I couldn't figure out the hot water system so ended up boiling the kettle to wash dishes and have a shave in the morning fortunately the shower was electric and worked fine although the water pressure was the best.
- XIAOHUI (9/5): -
- Josh (8/5): -
- michael (8/5): - had a slight issue the cleaners hadnt been when i turned up contacted the owners and went away for a bite to eat and the cleaners came in and got the property ready .
- kathy (8/5): Great little place in the best location. - The location was excellent. Parking was a bonus. It had everything we needed. Little difficult to walk around the end of the bed but it wasn’t a major problem.
- Debbie (9/5): Very good location - Very good, comfortable Toilet seat dangerously moved every time you sat on it, needs fixing
- Brian (8/5): - We needed to check in early as arrived over earlier than we thought and the owners were very kind to let us check in early. Rooms were smaller than we had expected
- Elizabeth (8/5): Had a good weekend break with our dog - It was clean and comfy. Well situated for the town and parking at the door. It was chilly, heaters difficult to work. no pressure in the hot water. Outside space at the back was very overgrown.
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -
- Norma (7/5): Would consider booking it again. - It is a well decorated and clean flat. Very good location near to shops, restaurants and bars. It was a bit draughty. I would have liked a teapot and less chunky cups and plates. There was a lot of noise from the accommodation upstairs.
- Louise (5/5): Passable -
- Janey (5/5): Convenient location, clean & tidy, helpful agents and host but lacked a few things to make it a comfortable stay in - Clean. Location. Rodent noise in the bedroom ceiling. Front doors extremely stiff to get in and out. Bathroom was cold. Shower pressure very bad. Living room was cold without putting the extra electric heater on.
- Bure (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mckay (9/5): Superb - Central location close to shops and pubs/restaurants
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Accessible for my needs, very friendly host - The host Jack was very accommodating with our 'very late' arrival and helped us with a few provisions for breakfast. Thank you :)
The groundfloor apartment is perfect, providing everything we needed for our weekend stay in scotland. With limited mobility, I found the groundfloor apartment easy to access and move around in, although it may not be suitable for larger wheelchairs. We left my scooter in the hire car at all times. Crieff is mostly accessible for scooters and wheelchairs.
Creiff is a very beautiful and unspoilt town with a long pretty high street full of shops, so close to the property. The square is a lovely place to sit for lunch from The Crieff Food Company, lots of benches in the sunshine, and lovely views of the moors and mountains in the distance.
There are quite a few nice places to eat out and order take away from. The host is very knowledgeable of the best places in the area. There was nothing to dislike about our stay at 18 Bank Place in Crieff.
To find the property was slightly difficult as it's a tiny turn-off hidden behind a wall. However, we were looking for it in the darkness when we first arrived.
Bank Place is next to a Public Carpark about 20 metres after you turn off from the high street. The small cul-de-sac is on the left side, very much hidden out of view. We parked next to the wall directly outside the property, but I guess you could park in the main car park.
- Duncan (10/5): Exceptional - Stayed in Bank Place for four nights recently and absolutely loved it, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, nice decor.Ideal base for visiting Perthshire, Stirling shire and surrounding areas.Good value for money.Jack, the owner messaged to make sure everything was ok with us and comes across as a very nice person... although we didn't meet we had to get in touch after coming home as my wife left the drip tray for her coffee machine behind and he retrieved it and posted it
on and was back with us within two days,so well done Jack.Overall we had pleasant experience in
Bank Place and would certainly recommend it to other would be visitors.
- Sam (8/5): Creiff 2024, Birthday wild swimming. - It was clean and recently decorated.
it was close to the necessary amenities, bars restaurants and supermarkets.
it was a good central location for visiting central Scotland.
the welcome book gave straight forward, concise information.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Fabulous self contained flat. - Lovely clean self contained flat. Had everything I needed for my week long stay. Parking outside on street a bonus. Can't praise the host Jack enough. Although we never met he was readily available by email/text. He was very friendly and welcoming. A fabulous place to stay if either visiting the area or to use as a base if touring surrounding area. Only petty issue was the TV, I couldn't find some channels... Possibly my fault as slightly technophobic. This would not stop me staying here again as plenty to see and do in surrounding area.
- Margaret (10/5): Perfect property. - Lovely ground floor flat ,very clean, nice fresh decor, comfortable bed, ideal for me as visiting friends in Comrie.
Had a wee issue with TV Jack the owner came and sorted it out for me .Had some great walks different walk every day. Residents parking space which was a bonus. 😀 Couldn't fault this property.
