Through no fault of theirs there was no power so they had to run a generator which they could not run all the time due to diesel restrictions. Also there was a dog that belonged to the farm next door that barked at time through the night. Not a big issue as I contacted the owner and it was dealt with.

• FAUROUX (7/5): Good, but a bit pricey for what you get. - The staff was very kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view over the vineyards, definitely a highlight. On the downside, the breakfast was quite basic and not very varied. For the price of the room, we expected a bit more in terms of services and small touches (for example, no water provided). Also, when you’re outside by the pool or on the terrace, you can hear the road quite a bit, which is a bit of a shame. So overall, a bit disappointed when it comes to value for money compared to other places in the area.

• Jan-Ole (8/5): Kleines, - Nur wenige Zimmer bzw. Nachbarn machen es zu einem sehr privaten Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber sind zudem sehr zuvorkommend und erfüllen einem jedem Wunsch! Die Schnellstraße ist vom Pool leider deutlich hörbar. Zudem gibt es nur Frühstück. Tagsüber, z.B. am Pool, kann man sich nichts zum Essen zubereiten lassen o.Ä. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Hotel nicht auf Personen ausgelegt, die einen reinen „Pooltag“ machen möchten.

• Oscar (8/5): Very good - Amazing private house, the rooms are quite nice with a rural style. The wineyards just at your doorstep are beautiful. It was a bit cold when we arrived but we managed to reach a comfortable temperature with the ac and heater. The shower and bathroom are a bit small

Short drive to Franschhoek and some of the main wine farms (and easy enough to get Ubers if you're drinking). Slight caterpillar problem when I was there - in the pool & all over the property

• Anika (10/5): Perfect Winelands Stay - It was so peaceful and the mountain views are beautiful. The pool was refreshing especially on hot days. Ezna was so wonderful and attentive. Comfortable beds and bathroom has a shower and tub. Small mosquitos/ flies are common during certain seasons, we just kept the bathroom window closed at night to prevent them from entering.

• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful place to relax and explore the vineyards - This guesthouse is simply amazing: located just outside of Franschhoek to easily explore the vineyards but quiet to relax. A lot of love for detail went into the place, the rooms are comfortable, clean and well thought through. From the pool you look over the vineyards and the honesty bar is better stocked than most other bars. The entire team was lovely, helpful and had fantastic recommendations. Breakfast was great which we enjoyed looking over a small river that’s going through the premises - we will definitely stay here again! Everything was great
