- Jane (7/5): Frustrating place to stay with really only one bedroom. - Good location and very clean. There was only one bedroom with a tiny little bed in a corridor off it separated by a curtain, fine for a child but not for an adult. The second bed was not made up despite having paid €12 for the bed linen. There was a cot and baby bath in the bedroom cluttering up the space. There was no soap in the toilet. No sugar in the kitchen. Also we found the separate payment for taxes and bedlinen confusing, we were told that we would not be given the entry code until it was paid. In the end sitting in a cafe in Brussels unable to start the journey to Ghent I managed to set up a PayPal App and transfer the funds but it was all a bit stressful 😥 and I’m still not sure what I was paying for as surely sheets are included in the price? 10am checkout on a Sunday morning seemed very early too, most places allow you to stay until 11am, it all left rather a bad taste I’m afraid to say.

- Devraj (10/5): A beautiful unit in a great location - Nicely located. Well furnished and clean. It was too hot during our visit, and there was only one portable fan available. A 2nd fan would have been nice.
- Vasileios (7/5): Good - Very close in a walking distance to all the sight scenes. Too much noise at night time, from the happenings around.

- Sónia (8/5): Very good - Great location (in the center and near transports). Nice living room space. Good comfort. No microwave, not enough cutlery or cleaning items. The staircase is difficult to use with luggage.

- Michelle (7/5): Excellent location but communication was poor - The location is bang in the middle of Ghent which is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. Having two bathrooms is useful with 2 young kids! the hosts are lovely but not responsive to messages via the booking.com messenging service. FYI- there are steep stairs that you need to climb up to get to the top floor apartment so bear that on mind of you have any mobility issues (or buggies and big bags!) We were not given the code to access the keys before check-in day so we had major difficulty getting access to the actual apartment itself. Just ensure you have the access details before arriving and you’ll be ok. There was no duvet on the main bed and I had to hunt down a blanket and cover (which were in separate places) and dress the bed myself!
