- Luis Miguel Camacho (10/5): Cabin vibes with the convenience of being close to town - Great value for money, with a location not too far from the township with a cracking view. The place had everything you needed to make a weekend of it and return to after a day of exploring. The driveway could be a bit narrow for larger cars
- Luke (8/5): - Nice location close enough to town. Room is spacious and has a lovely outlook over the nearby mountain. Is downstairs at the rear of the owners home. Almost zero noise from neighbours or the owners.
- Beat (10/5): - Grosszügiges Studio mit super Aussicht. Sehr ruhig. Die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel. Jo ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin🙂
- Julie (9/5): -
- Ilona (8/5): Cosy and quiet place just in the outskirts of Raglan - Quiet and great view
- Charlotte (9/5): - Lovely place near town and good directions
- Rachel (7/5): Had a good sleep, can be a bit noisy with traffic - Easy access to property and close to town The lighting is very harsh, need to change the globes or the shades even the side table lights were quite bright
- Peter (10/5): Good location to enjoy Raglan - Quiet roomy studio. Brisk walk to the shops or easy drive.
Raglan a great town to visit.
View from the balcony great at sunset. Nothing
- young (10/5): - Calm peaceful and cozy and was actually great not having a tv lol
- Carl (9/5): Lovely stay, good views, nice location. - Good size with Mountain View, easy parking. Host provided clear easy to follow instructions for check-in. Close to restaurants and beach areas, just a short drive.
- Mitchell (9/5): Amazing views and very large apartment. - Really good sized apartment. Lovely hippy vibe. Very comfy bed. Much bigger than the photos show. Easy to find and easy to park. Good communication. Everything we needed in the apartment. Amazing sunset views. Amazing pizza place in town called Piacè. It didn't bother us but just to note the apartment is on the outskirts of town so a short drive or long walk in.
- Boleslaw (10/5): Lovely place, would definitely stay again. - It was very quiet and had a lovely view of trees. Was very comfortable. N / A

- Mary (10/5): Best place to stay in Raglan loved it so much. Great welcoming and felt safe comfortable etc and soo loved her dog (wish - Very clean, quiet, practical etc everything you could’ve hoped for in a place. Nothing to dislike except I only stayed 1 night!!
- David (8/5): Great place with everything you need - Nice view , driveway parking , good place Some road noise
- Miranda (10/5): A sunny and peaceful hideaway in a lovely town - I loved this studio, it was a perfect spot to relax; very peaceful and even though it was a suburban setting you are surrounded by lovely trees and looking out to the mountain in the distance. The studio is very cosy and tastefully set up; the couch is in a great spot for sitting in the afternoon sun, and the little deck is ideal for an evening glass of wine. Comfortable bed and lovely shower. Hard to think of anything I didn't like! The property is located a wee way from Raglan township, which means that it's a little less handy for walking to shops/supermarket (took me probably about 20 minutes) but I guess that's how it gets to be so tranquil and such a retreat!
- Candice (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable place with a gorgeous view of the mountain. Highly recommend.
- Donna (9/5): Superb - View of Maunga Karioi was amazing.
- Gerda (8/5): comfortable, would come back - Quiet, private studio. Everything we needed nothing really.
- Vivienne (9/5): Great Mountain biew - Lovely view of the mountain from the large picture windows. Windows all round but not overlooked.
The decor was charming and a bit funky, the bed very comfortable. The facilities were all good. We met the friendly owner by chance on our arrival but not since.
- Rnv (8/5): Convenient location, sinimple accommodation - Pros: Comfy bed and pillows, good shower (temp and water pressure), close to Ngarunui Beach, plenty of blankets provided.
Cons: Parking is a bit tricky as the driveway is narrow and situated at the top of a hill. No a/c and too buggy to keep the windows open.
Overall a fine place to stay for a night.
- Robyn (8/5): Very good - Pleasant, light feel with good light. Not a problem for us, but the access would not be suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties.
- Igor (10/5): Everything was fantastic - All was great A little bit away from the city centre
- Keith (8/5): Great spot to stay and recharge! - Lovely quiet spot with balcony to enjoy the view. Very comfortable bed, cosy room. Lovely host! Long walk to town.
- Kelly (10/5): A lovely find in Raglan. Highly recommend. - A beautifully clean well equipped studio. Jo was really friendly and welcoming.
- Stphen (7/5): Great stay. - Decor, space, good shower/shower pressure, parking, quietness. Excellent view of Mt Karioi. Only minor things: Milk (eg: small carton of UHT milk), a teapot , kitchen paper towels or tissues.
- Jules (8/5): Lovely studio, sun shines in during the evening which is very lovely. close to town and water. - beautiful spacious studio with everything needed for a night. Bed linen was lovely, excellent pillows etc but the mattress was rather too hard for our old bones. Maybe just a topper would make all the difference.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): AN ENJOYABLE STAY - The location had an excellent view of the local mountain and we enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. It was, however, a long walk into town, which realistically requires use of a car. The studio was very comfortable, had all required facilities, which allowed us to cook an evening meal and make breakfast. Wfi was very good. Care must be taken not to have internal lights on with windows open unless you like insects - be careful! A very enjoyable stay. Nothing
- Joanne (9/5): A lovely space. - It was comfortable and quiet. Nothing.
- Isabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Narina (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the ambiance of this little place. We felt so relaxed here. Jo greeted us. Such a lovely person. A little too close to the highway.
- Sabena (10/5): Exceptional -

- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Fabulous studio with Amazing view! - Just minutes from downtown, this clean and beautiful studio offers a tranquil setting with amazing views for both morning wake-ups and sunsets. It has everything you need and comes highly recommended. Thanks Jo! 😀 All good!!! No complaints perfect!
- Louise (10/5): Peaceful and restful! - Jo was wonderful and met us on arrival.
The bird song and trees surrounding the property were beautiful.
- Leticia (10/5): Great location and view. Nice and cozy studio. - Great view, very nice place.
Good location.
Have everything you need, good cooking space
Clean and tidy.
- Pennie (10/5): Exceptional - Only a short drive away from Raglan town centre, yet it feels so tranquil and a world apart with the mountain view and visible starry night sky. The space was so cosy and tastefully decorated with earthy tones and wooden interrior that helped me unwind after a whole day soaked in the sun. A much appreciated getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Prefacing that I'm a noise sensitive person, so the traffic on the Main road was noticeable when the doors and front windows are left open. But can be easily navigated with shut doors/windows and likely just white noise for most people.
- Agnes (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy, comfortable studio. We appreciated the nice, warm interior design. Loved Raglan, wished we could stay longer.
- Kim (8/5): Ideal, quiet location with basic but comfy accommodation. - Good comfy bed, good shower pressure, nice outlook. It was all I needed/wanted. Paper towels or serviettes could be provided.
Some milk in fridge would also be a bonus.
- Kathryn (10/5): very nice, comfy and very clean. -
- Bex (10/5): Exceptional - Great view. Simple yet elegant wee bed sit style room. It was tidy and sweet.
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Beautiful space, felt like home!
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - na
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Rhonda (4/5): A little disappointing - Nice situation, quaint, clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, good view of Mt Kirioi Advertise there is no tv, I had hoped to watch the netball, wrong password given for wifi, one of the steps going to the villa was too steep, difficult to negotiate if you are disabled. A little concerned about the pole in the middle of the room, which could be dangerous if getting up in the dark during the night
- Diana (9/5): Superb - Warm welcoming at short notice. Great views, spacious, everything we needed
- Bjorn (10/5): Exceptional - Basic but clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barb (9/5): Cute and comfortable. We would recommend to others. - The suite is very cute and well laid out. Has a good vibe. Really enjoyed sitting on the couch looking at the view. Didn’t miss a TV at all. Very relaxing. We ended up booking an extra day here. Nothing, it was great.
- Van (10/5): Exceptional - No TV
- Ashleigh (9/5): MOUNTAIN VIEW STUDIO - Very beautiful setting, very tidy ..
I would book here again ... Nothing.. it was beautiful
- Felicito (6/5): Very comfy bed, great view, door needs to get fixed quick! Still a problem from previous reviews. - Very scenic location, easy to communicate with owners, mattress was very firm and excellent! Entrance door pulls off the slide and then takes a lot of door wiggling and pushing and cursing to get it back to slide open. This happened almost every time we tried to enter. Someone with less strength would find themselves stuck outside and unable to get in by themselves. The driveway is very long and narrow and because there was another car parked by the same place we had to park, it was not possible to turn our car around. Everytime we left, we had to back out the long drive which ended at a street with a poor view of coming traffic. Lastly, when we arrived, the mini-fridge was cold, so we did not check if it was powered on or off at the wall socket. We assumed it was powered on, put our food inside, went out to eat, brought back leftovers for eating the next day. When we woke up and opened the mini-fridge, it was all warm. The power had been turned off by somebody, probably right before we arrived, so all our food was ruined.
- Gage (8/5): Very good -
- Arapera (8/5): Very good - Very clean comfy, a great stay-over to rest up. We couldn't release the bathroom hand basin plug.
- Shepherd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (7/5): Good - provided my own breakfast The ranchslider door is not the best,
- Zafeerah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Myles (9/5): Superb -
- Phillip (8/5): Very good -
- Lois (8/5): Very good - Lovely view. Quiet. Clean. Spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Homely. Very relaxing. Sliding door very hard to use. Needs fixing. My husband says just needs the rollers in the bottom of the door replaced. A quick and cheap fix. Also sensors for outside lights need repositioned as they don’t come on when you need the light.
- Kole (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jenna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Kylie (8/5): Jo was fabulous and the place is lovely with a very comfortable bed. - Private. Great view. Comfortable and relaxing space. A bit tricky to find. It would’ve been good to know to bring my own milk.
