• Manuel (9/5): Günstig und sauber - Extrem sauber, sowohl das Zimmer als auch die Küche! Aehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Gemütliche Atmosphäre und Aussenbereich mit Hängematten und Steg. Nettes Personal. Minimalistisch eingerichtetes Zimmer, ein zwei Stühle wären super gewesen. Kühlschrank und Küche waren recht klein für die Anzahl Zimmer, die es hat.

• Laura (10/5): Schönes Hostel - Sehr schönes Hostel. Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht, lediglich das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer noch in einem soliden Zustand. Wir haben auch eine Tour direkt im Hostel gebucht. Diese war günstiger als bei anderen Anbietern und zudem wird man direkt am Hostel eigenen Steg mit dem Boot abgeholt.

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war herrlich. Wir waren insgesamt 7 Nächte da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist zu klein für die Anzahl an Gästen
• Julie (1/5): Nuit horrible à cause du bruit dans la chambre 2 - Extrêmement déçus de cet hôtel, pourtant bien placé à Old Bank C’est la première fois que je quitte un hôtel dès la première nuit alors que nous en avions réservé 3 Nous n’avons pas pu dormir de la nuit, nous séjournions dans la chambre 2 La Clim du voisin est fixé sur le mur de la chambre à l’extérieur, et est très mal fixée, le mur, le sol et le plafond ont tremblé toute la nuit, avec un bruit épouvantable, comme si l’on dormait à côté d’un moteur de bateau, impossible de dormir malgré les boules quies Nous avons dû tenter de finir notre nuit dans les hamacs de la terrasse Nous avons été remboursé des deux nuits que nous n’avons pas fait, mais pas sur la nuit horrible que nous avons passé. Cela n’a pas eu l’air de surprendre le personnel, ils doivent louer cette chambre en connaissance de cause Je pense qu’il n’y a pas de bruits dans les autres chambres vu la note de l’hôtel, mais si vous tombez sur la chambre 2, à fuir

• Celina Taramina (9/5): Great choice in Bastimentos. - I liked that the hostel was right on the water with enough seating for guests. Room was comfortable enough, beds comfortable. AC and Wifi worked well. Walking to a small grocery. Staff us very pleasant and will help you get boat taxis etc. A visit to Red Frog beach recommended, it was beautiful and some really quiet parts. We saw a sloth, caiman and the elusive red frog. Kitchen very tiny, only one person can cook at a time and very hot. Thought it was quite expensive for a hostal.

• Freya (8/5): angenehmer Ort für einen unkomplizierten Aufenthalt. - Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Hostel und haben uns insgesamt wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und das Bad ist ebenfalls kompakt, aber alles ist ausreichend und zweckmäßig. Trotzdem ein angenehmer Ort für einen unkomplizierten Aufenthalt. dass es nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen gibt – also nichts für Warmduscher.

Betten in Ordnung, Tresen wird teilweise von Volunteers betreut, die uns super Tips gegeben haben

• Roger Pierre (9/5): Excellent séjour 4 nuits+5 après complet, je suis allé à côté 2 nuits Jaguar hostel même famille - L'emplacement .La plateforme sur pilotis sur l'eau avec hamacs , seulement 2 , tables , chaises est super agréable.Regarder les bateaux passer dans la mer toute la journée est super agréable . L'excursion à la journée vers l'île de Zapatilla est super intéressante .La plage Wizzar de l'autre côté de l'île est à moins d'une demi-heure. A l'arrivée le personnel devrait signaler qu'une toilette wc est située derrière le bureau d'accueil. Je ne l'ai appris par hasard que 5/6 jours après mon arrivée .Je devait donc monter dans mon dortoir....

• Sabine (9/5): Entspanntes Inselhostel - Ein toller Platz für ein paar Nächte auf der Isla Bastimentos! Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Es gibt ein paar gemütliche Plätze am deck. Mein Zimmer war gut, ist halt alles ein bisschen muffig, aber auch kein wunder, das hostel steht auf Stelzen im Wasser und dazu noch der Regen und die Luftfeuchtigkeit... kleines Bad, aber ok, leider nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen, was bei sonnigen, heißen Tagen voll ok ist, aber wenn das Wetter wie bei mir verrückt spielt mit viel Regen, kann das schon unangenehm sein, wenn einem schon kalt ist. Zimmer wurde in 3 Nächten 1x geputzt. Küche ist relativ gut ausgestattet und sauber. Ausflüge kann man direkt im hostel buchen. Es ist ein bisschen hellhörig, bzw sogar schwankend. Allerdings war nachts absolute Ruhe. Kaltes Wasser zum Duschen

Koud water uit de douche en regelmatig geen water. Kleine keuken het was geen doen om met vele een ontbijt te maken. Kleine koelkast. Rotte planken in de vloer. Bed is klein.

You can just walk over to the bar of the next door hostel for cheap drinks the kitchen is a bit small no drinkable tabwater, but I guess thats normal on an Island(you can buy water on the island stores) 20 min walk to the next beach(wizard)

Die Servicekräfte in der Rezeption, aber auch die Reinigungskräfte waren stets hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. So entstand eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Ab und zu gab es kein Wasser, was aber nicht in der Verantwortung der Unterkunft lag. Wassermangel scheint vielmehr ein grundsätzliches Problem der Region zu sein.

• ftrescott22 (8/5): Great location in the center of Bastimentos with sunset views. - This hostel is in a great location on the main "road" in Bastimentos. There are several restaurants and two grocery stores nearby. We were also able to walk to Wizard Beach within 30 minutes. The room had AC that worked great as well as hot water in the shower. The back of the hostel overlooks the water and we spent every night watching the sunset from there while eating our dinner. The receptionist was very helpful when we needed to arrange a water taxi back to Bocas Town. The toilet in our private bathroom was very close to the wall and is difficult to sit on for tall people. The kitchen is very small and not very well equipped with pans and utensils. There are few restaurants on Bastimentos so many people were trying to cook at the same time. There is only one stove and sink which made cooking difficult every night. Our room was across the hallway from the kitchen and laundry room so earplugs are recommended if you want to sleep in.

• Julien-Paul (9/5): C’est un super rapport qualité prix ! - La vue est géniale, super emplacement et les dames à l’accueil sont très gentilles, donnent plein de conseils ! Quand L’Hotel est un plein il y a un peu de bruit. Mais quand il y a peu de monde, on se croit seul et c’est génial !!

• Jolanda (7/5): Ik vond het een fijne plek met mooi uitzicht, schone bedden, - De locatie, goed bed, uitzicht, vriendelijk personeel. Je kunt de keuken gebruiken om zelf maaltijden te maken. Incl koelkast. De douche, weinig water en koud. Ook kraantje van wastafel zit helemaal tegen wasbak aan. Voor ontbijt moet je stukje lopen en ergens anders aanschuiven bv caribbean view.

• Iveta (8/5): I would definitely recommend and book again. - Nice place basically on the water, close to the supermarket and restaurants. Room was basic but comfortable. Staff is very helpful! We got a lot of recommendations and they helped us book a shuttle. Some other guests were too noisy, kids running around early in the morning,but this was not fault of the hostel but the parents. Take an earplugs😉

Terrasse au dessus de l'eau avec une belle vue et des hamacs. Cuisine petite mais fonctionnelle. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Les salles de bain n'ont pas été nettoyés tous les jours, mais c'était ok. (il y avait d'ailleurs de supers amenities - gel douche et shampoing)

• Aishwarya (8/5): Very clean, great location - Alison at the reception was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh sheets are provided every two days. They gave us two clean towels every day. All this was very much appreciated especially since we would go to the beach. Wizard beach which is a 20 min walk was the best beach I’ve been to in Bocas. There isn’t hot water in the bathrooms but it’s not needed because of the temperatures. The water in the shower drains directly into the sea. They provide all natural body wash and shampoo so please be sure to use that.
• André (8/5): - O hotel tem uma doca de barcos e é super fácil chegar, basta pedir aos water táxi para deixar no hotel cay ou então andar 2m desde a doca principal, há mercearias e restaurantes perto. Os funcionários foram super simpáticos, chamaram um barco no último dia e guardaram as nossas malas. O quarto precisava de um cortinado mais grosso para tapar a luminosidade e as redes para mosquitos nas janelas estavam furadas. Não havia água quente para o banho.

Abbiamo preso una camera con letto matrimoniale e bagno privato all’interno e dopo due giorni hanno pulito la nostra stanza e hanno cambiato le lenzuola e gli asciugamani, questo aspetto ci ha colpito positivamente! The building itself is quite basic in construction, but it’s set right on the water—actually built over it—which gives it a unique charm. There’s a lovely deck where you can relax and enjoy the view. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions or needs. There are a couple of nice restaurants on either side of the hostel. I would stay here again.

• Jessy (9/5): Nice vibe, beautiful location, very friendly staff - It was clean, comfortable, and rustic There was no sign identifying the place and not even neighbors knew about its location. Passed by it a few times late in the evening before stumbling upon it.
• Romina (10/5): Amazing place to relax with delicious breakfast options - My husband and I decided to spend a week in Bastimentos. It is a calm place to stay at. The location is perfect, everything's nearby, and it's right in the middle of Old Bank. The deck is a great place to just relax, chill, read a book, listen to some music or watch the sunset. Even though the kitchen is small, it has most necessary things. When in need of a water taxi, please ask for Maya. He's nice, responsible, and very punctual. Finally, the star of our stay, and the cherry on top were the daily breakfast options offered by Kiosco&Pescador. Eunice was the kindest and her food was the most delicious. An electric kettle could be a good addition to the kitchen.
• Teresa (9/5): Comfy and clean - perfect place on Bastimentos! - Our room was upstairs with a lovely balcony pretty much right outside our door. For the first day there were very few guests so we were able to use the kitchen facilities effortlessly. A bit harder when there were more guests as it was small and didn’t have much cookware. There were many tables on the main veranda as well as hammocks for relaxing. The best asset for this guesthouse was the staff - SO friendly, kind and helpful. Loved staying here and would definitely come back.

• Carolin (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was amazing, so friendly! It was very clean and the hostel terrace direct at the sea was amazing. Best way to see the sunset and the stars. You can book the tours (for example the zapatillo tour) directly at the hostel.
• Rastislav (10/5): Exceptional - Nice peaceful hostel, all you need is close by, nice cheap and excelent restaurant 30 meters, shop 100 meters. The staff was really nice. I have booked Zapatilla tour and it was worth every penny. I really like lady at reception. ;) The ladder to my bed was broken and bit dangerous to go to the top of bunk bed.
