• Anjali Kaur (8/5): Services can be better, every room must have intercom. - "Fantastic location with stunning views! Clean and hygienic rooms, delicious food, friendly staff, and a peaceful ambience. The privacy and scenic balcony view made our stay truly special. Highly recommended!" The absence of an intercom service and the low water pressure in the bathroom and sink were drawbacks. With a few improvements in these areas, the overall experience could be even better.

• star (10/5): peaceful and comfortable - Has to be our favourite stay in India so far, Everything was so peaceful and quiet. Only around 30 minutes to the main town and Sania was great help with getting some taxis to places, they also offer scooter hire if your interested. Room was extremely comfortable wifi, air conditioning and happy to see the shower was separate from the toilet(not a wet room), The pool is very clean and well taken care of and very nice to swim in. The free breakfast offered was taken straight to our bedroom and tasted great. I really recommend this stay.

• Daniela (7/5): Good location but staff bit off - I loved the swimming pool as that was the main reason for booking and location was quiet if you don’t mind dogs barking and birds singing For the first time in my travels staff felt off. Two main people were so unbothered for anything it made us question our stay. They also lack basic politeness and how to talk to guests. Also language barrier felt like an issue. Also be aware that scooters they are renting are old and not the safest. Speedometer don’t work and petrol tank indicator did not work for one of ours. We rented 3 different scooters from them and all were the same. For 500 rupees you can definitely get a better and brand new scooters from someone else. Also breakfast was not great. Kitchen staff tried their best but basic serving skills are lacking. Free breakfast included mostly eggs and only french toast and pancakes no other non India breakfast food available French toast in the picture
• A.D. (6/5): Okay voor 1 dag - Geen bijzonderheden, Op zich een prima verblijf, met aardig en behulpzaam personeel We sliepen in de onderkamer en de kamer erboven was helaas erg onrustig. De houten vloeren van de houten chalets zijn zeer gehorig. Helaas ook tijdens de nachtelijke uren.
• Anjan (9/5): Peaceful location, calm vibe and clean stay - The location of the cottage as the name suggests was secluded and peaceful, away from all the noise. The pool was clean and breakfast was pretty good too. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. Unfortunately the rooms are not noise prevented. We could hear the neighbors from our room.

Loved the abundance of nature particularly the Kingfishers Kites herons. Rooms were beautiful bed comfortable fluffy white towels and good bedding. Lovely balcony overlooking swimming pool and garden. We are coming again because it’s so beautiful. The lady receptionist speaks very good English and she is so kind helpful and a great asset to the company. The food is good but kitchen staff need training in simple procedures eg not just serving a fork ( without a knife) toast (without butter). They tried their best and were eager to please.

• Jo (6/5): Stay is a OK Ok one. 50:50 - Its like a remote place, however we got much privacy there, Peaceful place. Reaching the place is a narrow one, with some neighbour dogs in the street. But dogs are quiet and calm. Value for money. They are constructing some new wood houses nearby, we can feel the whole impact in the room while they were working. Feel like some elephants pushing our wooden house.

• Kiran Karunakar (9/5): - Top class property & staff. Mrs Sania is efficient and customer centric. She quickly grasped a situation and went out of her way to resolve it for us immediately. We had a very pleasant stay.
• Jayakumar (6/5): The pics & reviews in Booking.com didn't really match my experience when I was there at Seclude - I personally think Seclude Eco cottages is a bit over rated in this site, thats how even I chose it for my family vacation. To be honest the pictures given in booking.com does not really match with the actual property. Its a bit deceptive once you are actually there. Its an eco cottage I understand, however the property definitely needs a lot of maintenance. They are short staffed, no proper information provided at the reception area, The room & bed is comfy, so is the sit-out. However, poorly staffed, the service is slow. Food options are limited. The complimentary breakfast is not a buffet but to order & choices are limited. The pool is good, I liked the property with its coconut groves but the management of the property needs a face lift. With a lot more maintenance, better food choices, more service, it could be great place.

• Ruud (9/5): Overall a beautiful, quite place to stay with a very relaxing pool - Really beautiful place, just far enough from the busy streets. We really liked the quiet here and enjoyed the pool! Also the foot was great and not too expensive. Overall had a really relaxed stay. It was pretty hard to communicate with the staff because of the language barrier, so we had to do it via text with the owner. Also we had some AC problems, but luckily they were resolved eventually. If you don't like to walk distances, we would advise you to rent a scooter, as it is quite the walk to the beach/restaurants.

• Cathy (10/5): Lovely staff, perfect location and beautiful setting - we loved watching the sunset from our balcony - Location was ideal, set back from the road for a peaceful experience but close enough to all the things you'd want to see in Goa. Breakfast was great - as we eat eggs, we thought there were plenty of options. Everything tasted really good :) Staff are friendly and helpful, they got us a taxi to our bus stop for a fair price. Everything would be perfect if you could insect proof the bathroom just a tiny bit more! We didn't have too many problems though.

We were really busy with our trip, so whenever we were not at the resort, I would request them to keep our room clean and replenish some items since we had booked for three nights. However, they said that the room would only be cleaned if we were inside; otherwise, they wouldn't clean it.

• Abhishek (10/5): Exceptional - The property is fairly new as of Dec 24 and well maintained and made of Canadian maple wood if I am not wrong. This place have a very warm and cozy aura and definitely will comfort you. The pool was well maintained too. Sania, the host, was also very warm and welcoming. The management was not flexible on pool timings, as we wanted to enjoy it post 9 pm, which isnt their fault, those are just the rules.

Everything is available and accessible at a stone throw away distance. Overall a pleasant stay. Would for sure choose to stay again here. Highly recommend. Very great and a lovely experience staying at this beautiful and unique place.
• Tanushree (8/5): Very good - The property is fairly new right now. Location is good and the cottage are really pretty with access to swimming pool just when you get out of your room. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very nice and supportive. They arranged for 2 wheeler for us without any hassle. They immediately shifted us to another room which we complained about the constant smell of smoke in our room. The location is also superb, just 10-15 mins ride from Anjuna and 5-10 mins ride from other restaurant spots like purple martini, Artjuna etc. Overall stay was pleasant The towels were not clean and both towels and brush were of cheap quality. Also, the overall cleanliness was not up to the mark. Bathroom still had sand from the previous stay. But it was alright, didn’t bother us much.

Neville was a great host and was in constant touch to make sure our stay was comfortable. Place is close to all the happening places in North Goa which makes it the perfect place to stay.

As a new property, the cottage currently has limited staff, which can make it challenging to communicate needs during your stay. However, we were pleased to see a front office staff member assigned on our last day, which should help enhance the guest experience in the future. To improve service, it's important for the staff to be better aligned in providing daily essentials like toiletries, water bottles, and towels. The breakfast options were also limited, which could be a constraint for longer stays. The owner is aware of this and is working to expand the offerings. Additionally, during the rainy season, the path to the cottage can become muddy, which can make travel a bit difficult. Overall, there are opportunities for improvement that could enhance future guest experiences.
